House call doctors is such a helpful service. When a person does not feel good, and especially when weather does not allow, doctor comes to your home, examines you, gives you medicine, and asks you to come when you feel better. Doctor came in, he was attentive, knowledgeable, and put us at ease.
HORRIBLE. IF YOU WANT TO KILL A LOVE ONE, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO TO , RARELY ANSWER THE PHONE AND PLACE YOU TO CORRECT PARTY. YOU NEVER SEE A DOCTOR ONLY A NURSE ON OCCASION. ITS A BIG RIP OFF BUSINESS

trying FOR A WEEK to schedule a house call, was told they would call me back. IT'S BEEN A WEEK AND NOBODY HAS CALLED. called them about 30 times, no answer. had to get the driver for the doctor, who is the ONLY person there that actually does his job to contact his supervisor for me, he calls them every day and they keep telling him they would call me. NOBODY CALLS ME. I was supposed to have a doctor come in today, NOTHING. they didn't even bother letting me know they weren't coming. GET THEM FIRED. that business is a joke.
The name speaks for itself! Thanks god, there is a company that sends doctors to patients homes. This was the case last week, when my aunt could not go to doctor, she waited till weekend, and she felt so sick. We looked this company up, and they came fast. It was a big help. The next morning she went to her regular doctor, and he said it was good that we called House Doctors.
I have this service for my child who is bed bound and special needs. In the beginning, their service were very efficient. But as each monthly appointment, cancellations with no call back and health providers seeing the patient for all of 3 minutes . Hours on the phone waiting to speak to someone and then getting disconnected. Looking to change them.
Awful, stay away. To sum it up my mother died 1/19/21 and they just called AGAIN to ask me if the NP could visit her tomorrow! File a complaint with Board of Health and get this place shut down and stay away from NP Peterson!
This place should be SHUT DOWN! It shouldn t be recommended to anyone! I had a very horrible experience with them. The nurse practitioner was very unprofessional and very unpleasant. It took days before getting a response. My grandmother was hospitalized due the NP lack of knowledge and care! DO NOT GO HERE!
Horrible service when you call. It takes forever to get registered and the ladies have a terrible attitude. I tried to speak to the administrator Sidarth Parwarth and he was never available to speak. There is no manager to get in contact with. The nurse prescribed medication that put my family in the hospital. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES TO BE SEEN BY THESE PEOPLE. Terrible experience from beginning to end.
I was surprised how fast the doc and nurse were at my uncles house. The provided comfortable service. He was pleased and happy.
Worst service ever - the providers (Pedon - is not a real nurse/doctor). Orders are not put in properly, orders are not put in period, and the people who answer the phone don't even have basic medical skills to be doing their job. Phone calls don't get returned. These people should not be in the medical field - in fact, the medical board and business bureaus should watch this company. They are putting patients in danger due to their incompetence.
It's been 3 weeks since my mom has been home and this company called ONCE to get medical history and medications, was supposed to call feb 23rd and no one did. I called them to tell them and they said they had notes from the phone call that it was "checked out" when I asked what was said they couldn't tell me. And they haven't sent anyone here for a physical check up, even I requested one they said they couldn't because she already had the phone call, which was never made. I asked to be connected to gest case manager several times in 3 weeks which she wasn't available and never called us back like we had requested. The woman who read supposed to do the appointment for the 23rd coincidentally was the one I complained to and she said she'd escalate it to the supervisor which I doubt she did. These people could care less about their patients and they're not only getting an article written about them in the magazine I work for but I'm calling the State complaint center and insurance company and if I have to I'll lawyer up. They don't deserve to be open and patients here don't deserve that treatment!

Whenever I need a doctor for my mom I call this office. It's convenient because she doesn't drive, and they are cool.
I have been to many clinics during my lifetime and I am pleased with the employees and how fast-paced this clinic is. I would recommend this clinic to anyone and any age. They are great!
This place is a joke. Do not entrust them with care for your loved ones. No order, no follow through on anything completely irresponsible!

Horrible. The doctor never showed up, despite repeatedly being assured that the good doctor was on his way. A nurse practitioner was sent several days later, but unfortunately for my elderly and very ill parent the nurse never bothered to electronically submit the insulin prescription so desperately needed.
They helped me enroll my husband into a long term care program - have a case manager assisting with his care in addition to having a nurse practitioner come visit him every month. Most shocking was when he needed an xray and it was done at our home!
On December 16, 2019, had a visit from their "Doctor". They checked my mom out, saying everything was okay with her. December 17, 2019 had to call 911. It turns out her blood sugar was 600, she had pneumonia, etc. What did they check, that they could tell she was not breathing well. Anyway, the end result she died on December 25, 2019. There was nurse that came to do an assessment when she came home from the nursing home for home services. She told these people were not good. A doctor never came. Always a NP. One star for the only one that gave a decent check.
Initially I thought that Essen House Calls would be a fabulous option for dealing with my mother's medical care but I am quickly becoming disenchanted. The customer service leaves much to be desired; long wait times on hold with no resolution, inability to reach anyone in the office (phone rings, line disconnects repeatedly), no record of requested schedule changes although office staff verified day/date/time, scheduled appointments not kept, professionalism is out the window. I've been waiting for 3 days now for someone to contact me regarding a medication prescription; I guess medication isn't a priority. I would love to have given a better review but I can only speak from my personal experience which hasn't been great. I will be looking for a physician in the community to schedule office visits.
Worse health care ever, most horrible customer service. Spoke to Carla the clinician and didn t get any helpful answers. They don t have any other diagnostic agencies that would be able to provide services for your love ones just one which is Rapid X another F&@k up . Carla just basically said that I have to call the insurance to find out what Diagnostic is willing to provide service for the pt. Based on my experience with them they re not compassionate and they are willing to meet the patients needs. It s very discouraging to have to deal with organization such as this kind. I read so far all the other reviews and I don t understand why this place is even open. I want to take this to someone higher.

they been caring for my father for almost 3years, I have to admit getting to reach them is hard sometimes due to the volume of calls, but overall they are a good practice, you call if need meds, if u are not feeling well they will put a clinician on the phone to help my dad and our concerns. im pretty happy with the services for now...
Caring for elderly parents haven't been easy. Having a visiting doctor to see my parents on the month basis has helped me care of them and get them the help they need. Staff is friendly and kind- highly recommend this program.
Absolutely horrible !! I have 100 reasons why this company is ridiculously incompetent but I'll just stat one. My grandmother has been prescribed (Sadly on more then one occasion) medications she did not need and when asked about it I got a " I don't know " unbelievable !!!! I've been dealing with these people a little over a year and I'm fed up. I'm in the process of transferring my grandmother to a company who show concern for their patients and who know what their doing.
We called this company for a our family friend, they were fast, professional and knowledgeable, knew exactly what was wrong, glad we called them.

Manhattan is a big city, and sometimes hard to find a good doctor, or clinic, or somebody who can come and see a patient on a weekend. This office is good, helpful, professional.
We could not get our regular doctor on time, this is the second time we used this company. Great help!

.....Terrible. Don t call them. I spoke with Blanca and Cristina who have very nasty attitudes. I was on hold for 14 minutes before speaking to someone. Appointments are not available for weeks, and there is no manager to speak to. The nurse took 8 days to make a return call. DO NOT put your sick family members through this. Why are the people there so mean and unpleasant!?.
Had an appointment scheduled for an md visit for my dad. The time of the visit was supposed to be between 10-2. At 1:30 I called to see where the dr. Was and after being put on hold and disconnected several times , I was finally told that the dr. Chose not to come because the address was too far !
No one contacted us to cancel .
This company is very unprofessional .
