Hell when walking from Waikiki. If it s chari, it s easy. Walking around the campus is easy. It s a classic souvenir, but I do n t give me a bag. The downhill on the way home is pleasant. After all Chari.

Got my education I'm out. Just make sure you have a good counselor for classes and registration. I got hosed by mine and spent extra money and time. That was the worst. But, this school does have some really great professors.

I went to buy goods from the University of Hawaii, but the shops at the University of Hawaii were big and there were many types and it was easy to see.

However, if it is a classic one, it's also sold at a store near Honolulu Beach
I would like to visit once if there is room.

See below reviews. Not worth the money. The school will take all your money and instead of investing in quality professors/equipment/maintenance, they'll spend it on the football team which can't win a game or take it seriously. And for students being their "customers", they certainly don't treat you with the respect that you deserve for investing so much money into them.

Really amazing university, world class in so Many respects. Beautiful campus, quality professors, and education programs. The MBA program just recieved received a $100 million dollar donation, as an example. Diverse student body, active student organizations, and located on beautiful Oahu. One of a kind university extremely competitive educarion programs including juris-doctor, MD, MBA, PHD.

The summer I attended the University of Hawai i at M noa was the best summer school in all my years in college. Originally, I planned to transfer here and then graduate but I changed my mind and went back to the mainland to finish my degree in mathematics. The only reason I went back to the mainland was job prospects.

I was at the UH at Manoa in 1975 as a professional development intern at the Food Institute of the East-West Center. I stayed at the campus for almost four months starting in late August. Most memorable experience I had was when we were invited to listen to the Speech of then President Gerald Ford at the Licoln Hall (?).

I would advise anyone pursing a degree at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa to look else where and only consider this as a last resort. You will be plagued with problems from every department due to the lack of accountability and professionalism of the staff. I would also highly advise you stay away from the College of Education advisors and especially Melvin Spencer 3rd. If this is education than god help us all!!!!

If you're here to do a PhD in a world-class depart...

If you're here to do a PhD in a world-class department in your particular field, like me, it's a 5. For a regular undergrad degree, I would say it's a 2. Only worth it if you're local and want to save money by living at home. The facilities are run-down, and not just in the arts buildings; the dorms are full of roaches and drug use, the layers of bureaucracy are a nightmare -- literally, my prof had to fill out two forms to order a pizza, and it took two months to set up "direct deposit" for my on-campus job (defined as the checks being mailed to my department, which mails them to the bank). The NATURAL SURROUNDINGS, on the other hand, are GORGEOUS, and the people of Hawai'i are fascinating. ... I did my MA in a world-class uni with the best of facilities, and it came with its own set of problems: 50% tuition hikes for international students over 3 years, with international tuition already 3x domestic tuition; the uni president was forced by the board to resign after only a year; the housing/living cost was exorbitant. No place is perfect and life is what you make of it.

So beautiful the campus! The University of Hawaii Manoa! Spreads across the valley so serene and beautiful Knooks and spots to sit and read or meet friends. This is my life in Hawaii, going up next to the valley it was the most beautiful sight to see! The valley would always be covered with blessing rain and rainbows all over! I will never forget the beautiful sites of MANOA UOH!! Mahalo for reading!

Anyway, it is spacious and refreshing.

Anyway, it is spacious and refreshing.
On Tuesdays and Saturdays, we sell vegetables and fruits directly from 9am. The place is right under the pizza hat under Starbucks.
There are three libraries, and you may have noticed the view of Waikiki from the sky and the stair landing that looked up from the window.
There are many rare plants and mysterious trees on the campus.
There are a lot of small birds that I have never seen.
A lot of rainbows.
This island is specially blessed by God
Things I often feel when I go to Hawaii
You will know deeply here as well
There are also several restaurants and cafes, and a bar at night. If you visit downtown, shopping, or Waikiki Beach, be sure to check it out.

I would highly suggest against attending this school. Most of my classes were taught by Graduate students. The facilities were a mess. Parking was practically nonexistent to new students. Sexual assaults and criminal behavior was all over the news as I dormed in Hale Wainani. The English Department had a paper shortage throughout the three years I attended. Elevators were broken. No air conditioning. Library was rampant with bedbugs!
I was not offered support as I graduated (only debt collectors gave me any attention) as my BA in English from the University of Hawaii made me a perfect candidate for a job as a stocker at WalMart.

The setting of the campus is beautiful but the buildings are old and run-down. Many buildings have no AC leaving you to sweat while trying to work. Classes are taught by graduate students or even seniors who have no idea how to teach. Very few evening classes and the availability of day classes is very limited. Its obvious that all money is pumped into the football team and athletics when this money could be put to so much better use. Don't expect to receive a quality education here, look elsewhere if you have the choice.

I got my BS from here and enjoyed much of the experience. My department (Geology, Volcanology, petrology) we're AMAZING and taught me so much, giving me plenty of opportunities. The university administration however is SO BAD. You can succeed here, but you've got to fight for yourself every step of the way. Plus they removed the smoking area and made parking impossible.

Worn down facilities(i.e. Hamilton library...electrical outlets not working, missing stall doors, rug coming up, no Word application on the computers(good luck printing what you need), comdemned buildings, quality of education. Compare the prices to LCC, their solid teaching core, and the facilities and you are paying 5 times more for what? Then to include the Stevie Wonder blunder, finances going to Mauna Kea lawyers and the football team, overall it's the leadership. It took HNN to show them how bad the facilities are before they would take action.

I wish I had her name.... but when I talked to admissions the first receptionist was very sweet and nice but when she transferred me to the 'big' person. This lady was so rude, she literally full on screamed at me. That's not how your supposed to talk to a student, or any person whose going to be thousands of dollars in debt by being at your school.
Very rude and I'm going to dread going back to the admissions office...yayyy for 4 more years here :/

Not great for an IT degree unless you want a degree in Software (java). However the Grey Hat team was a great learning experience for IT Security. I dont recommend for military mgib, it took a lot from me. I ended up going to Applied Computer Training and Technology for IT certifications and then transferred those to a college that accepts them.
