Esplanade - Theatres on the bay has a well known special architecture that looks like a durian because of the spikes. Definitely a place for those who are into musics, performing arts and theatres. Sometimes, there is free performances, both indoors or outdoors. Besides being an art performing base, it is also a small mall with a few restaurants, arts related shops and a library located on third level.

The piano studio was small and can accommodate about 300 audience? The piano sound was very beautiful and I could not hear any echoes. Acoustics were acceptable for me.

This is an awesome place ...the design is so unique .. modern and so unusual architecture involved. There is a library inside this building. Two theatres ..the main hall and small one. And in the library there are studio rooms that you can rent to record your music and vocal also.. From the huge window in the library , you can see the Marina Bay Sands which usually showing the laser ray in the weekend and holiday. Also you can see the beautiful buildings surround by. Nice play ! Two thumbs up !!

A lovely place for a walk and spend 2 hours looking at the views and attractions along the bay

Take a stroll outdoors. You will feel so relaxed walking near the sea with the wind blowing. The view is spectacular too.

The best concert I had with the Chinese singers Zhou Shen and Qiyu.

Many things to see arouns this joint, from raffles landing, the cavanaugh bridge, fullerton hotel, merlion, esplanage, double helix bridge, marina bay sands shopping mall, singapore flyers... all is must see place in singapore. Love it. Simply love it

Located by marina bay, the theatre is housed in an architecturally unique building.
As with most urban spaces in Singapore, the theatre is integrated with shopping and dining venues, and connects to the MRT transportation network. There is also a library here, which is part of the National Library Board network of libraries and it features performing arts titles.
The programming of the theatre is world class, featuring international, regional, and local productions. Tickets are usually sold through SISTIC, a ticket/performance purveyor based in Singapore.
Crowd management and seating for shows are well-managed with experienced and professional ushers dutifully reminding just about every guest of the key house rules while helping them to their seats.
The auditoriums, lighting, sound design, and facilities are well-maintained and comfortable. The auditoriums could be a little larger for bigger crowds but it does not take away from the experience of the performances.

Great variety of food. Good place to take photo of the city landscape in the evening 6pm to 7pm. There are public performances as well. Just come and see for yourself.

The area below the durian theater theater has Seven 7 store cafe selling phone cards selling ice cream water, toilets, from there going to the sea lion park about 500m

This place is a singapore icon, huh ... if you haven't taken photos around this place, I don't think so ...

I was not inside the theater, but its architecture is impressive. It is very beautiful, especially at night.

Amazing view of Marina Bay and the skyline when you sit at the Outdoor Theatre. There are free performances everyday at the concourse or outdoor theatre. Food is mid to high priced.

This is the place to go if you want to immerse yourself in the arts, music and culture of Singapore and South East Asia. They always have a show playing at any point of time in the day. One of the best bay view in the world. Everything in one panoramic scene.

Perch my 2 parrots at the waterfront park and went for a run while wife look after. Wife was approached by security asking her to remove the birds and put into our pet carriers.
This is the outdoor and why can't we bring our birds there?
After I finished my run, I waited for 40 mins but none of the guards came to me.
Hmmm. Not impressed.

Must see! Place is beautiful place another side of Marina Bay sands. Around area you can find Michelin star restaurant.

Excellent place for music. They have free performances at the concourse or outdoors theatre during some weekend evening.

You can explore the place with a tour during off-peak hours. It was really amazing to see these places.

Nice arts centre. Various free shows in the evenings, plus a good programme of paid performances.

Interesting architecture by DPA architechts, reminiscent of Durian, that peculiar looking fry in Asia, integrated with its own shopping center and shops.

We were surprised that upon entering we were greeted with a concert from the hall itself.

Do not miss the views from the deck of the same towards the bay.

I loved the free show by the band "The Lost Box" pretty good rendition of oldies

The best place for large scale performing arts in town.

This place is like an oasis, when we are tired of walking around Singapore. Kareba is located in the middle of the city, there is a fully lit air conditioner, there are various shows that change all the time, there is free drinking water.

There is nothing to watch as well. The visitors are not expensive.

Can get loud - group atmosphere. Bavarian typical dishes.

Really great place to watch a performance! I enjoy the overall energy this whole area brings to the city! Great performers, musicians and bands. I love the view by the water and overall the selection of bars and restaurants as well as street vendors does not dissappoint! If you are in Singapore, you do need to check this area out!
