Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay Review

Always a reliable place to get some calm and peace. (And some free art/culture if there's something on which there usually is.)

we enjoyed our dinner at the straits chinese peranankan cuisine.
For an almost complete Nyonya, theres
not much place. buah kaluak with chicken , golden pomfret in pineapple brooth, babi pongteh, itek tim etc
it will saliva you down. boleh makan.

A place with free rides in Singapore. This place is also a mall. When I visited there there were ink mountain shows, and indoor and outdoor concerts. To get to this place there are two ways. Can use the bus down at the Rafles terminal. Or use the Esplanade MRT station. In the afternoon there are street food snacks even though only a few outlets. A little walk ... we can go directly to the merlion statue or even to the marina bay sand

Was there recently to watch The Curious Incident of the Dog In The Night Time and the whole affair was very convenient and comfortable from checking in to the end

Great place to sit around if you have got nothing better to do and want to escape the crowds at Marina Square. Occasional free performances.

There are always some free concerts outside, and some pub if you are craving for a beer with friends. Two 'secret places' :the library at the third floor if you are looking for a moment of relax and the roof garden that offer a beautiful view of Singapore skylight

Very nice outdoor theatres. Can enjoy an outdoor evening programme.

Wow. Very cool place not just for kids but the whole family. Since it is close to the water, nice cool breeze welcomes you. There is some good scenery in the background for you to take some nice pics. Highly recommended for tourists. Offers some nice walk.

Witnessed live violin performance by artists of different ages. Awesome

Nice indoor are for small free concerts. Outdoor stage for free outdoor performances. Plenty of eateries and gluttons bay is just beside it.

Nice place to look ard. But ( ) no signboard seafood is not nice and over price.

Cool mall, there s a great movie poster store and also a vintage vinyl records store there !

The durian-shaped building is one of the symbols of Singapore's modern development. You should go to the Marine Bay area in the afternoon to have nice pictures here

Esplanade Theatres on the Bay is a 60,000 square metres (6.0 ha) performing arts centre located in Marina Bay near the mouth of the Singapore River. Named after the nearby Esplanade Park, it consists of a concert hall which seats about 1,600 and a theatre with a capacity of about 2,000 for the performing arts. It is of 6 min underground walk from City Hall MRT via City Link Shopping Mall, 4 mins walk from Esplanade MRT via underground linkage.

A evening post laser show at Marina bay sands to chill out with cultural mix.

Just going into the mall for lunch, there isn t show in the afternoon. The view was awesome

Seats are a tad uncomfortable and the air cons is rather cold

The Esplanade most visibly spotted with it's durain thorn-like twin domes. The thorns were not part of the initial design but an later-add on to defect the sunlight acting as sunshades.

I have been to a few ballet performances held at the Esplanade and the experience is nothing short of being wonderful. The place is beautiful, comfortable with excellent acoustically designed performance spaces.

Within the building, sometimes there open exhibitions which one can visit without the need for a ticket.

There is a performing space just outside the Esplanade where events were held and is popular among the local and overseas crowds.

There's some nice restaurants in the buildings with excellent views. If you are in the area, do drop by. The walking path is also filled with beautiful views.

A picturesque view especially at night when it comes live with sounds and lights. Just beautiful.

We dine at Noosh restaurant, is a new experience, good food friendly service.

My favorite location in Singapore .. the perfect location for photos ..landscapes and selfies ... Also the Muslim is awesome .. plenty of food joints .they offered delicious foods ..

If the piece does not like, then compensates the backdrop. Architecturally worth seeing.

Always impressed by how this building nurturing past and contemporer arts and music in Singapore and influence the neighboring countires.

Landmarks of Singapore! Convenient! There are also delicious restaurants!
