Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay Review

Don't enter the palace, but it's really good for photo photos

Incredible opportunity to have the privilege to sing on this stage! Beautiful acoustics, and its design is clearly that of a microphone, not a durian! Duh!!

One of the most beautiful place that you can find in Singapore, try the library inside the mall and you Will have an excelent view of Marina Bay.

The weather is really hot,the conditioning is like normal temperature,not cool at all, recommend to bring your own fan

It is a very beautiful place, that is if you have to be lucky not to meet the wave of Korean or Japanese tourists, and be able to take a good photo.

It's a maze and very easy to get lost reaching it via the mrt

Only visited the foyer where this moving display was. Would have loved to have seen more of the theatre.

A splendid and excellent performing arts center. Very open to public in contrary to its "intimidating durian spikes" (which are actually sunshading feature). Go to its roof top for nice view of Singapore skyline.

What a wonderful SSO - Singapore Symphony Orchestra concert!

Esplanade an unique structure that looks like an durian shape houses one of the best stage for orchestra! there are always different types of events held here!

Was feeling like in Europe! This place has a great ambiance!

The Grand Durian Opera House has good-looking dramas and free concerts.

Place is always bustling with activity and place is nice to visit. The library occasionally has free performances and talks. Free events are also held in the concourse. Definitely a great place to visit!

Saw the moonfest there. The dancers were very talented and the stage is awesome too.

dont forget to visit this place on their "beautiful sundays" - A series of free concerts

Free shows every day from 7pm to 7:30 pm and with repetition from 7:45 pm to 8:15 pm in the upper left!

From Friday to Sunday there are several free shows, check the schedule in the photos I took, I believe that the site also shows.

Love to hang out at the iconic place. The location is near to the sea, and there are benches around for you to sit, chat and hang around.

Food outlets and bars are just around the corner - whether is it from Amercian-style bistro, Japanese casual dining, coffee parlours or some different cuisines for dinner, you got them all there. Makansutra, Glutton bays, serves great local Singaporean cuisines if you are here in Singapore for the first time! It is just right beside Esplanade.

Esplanade holds many concerts, plays and symphonies, as well as band gigs at the outdoor Esplanade Theatres. Do check their website because there are times when there are free events, esp on weekends!

ESPLANADE
If tourists are going to Singapore and do not capture the moment while here then the tourist can not be said to be on vacation to Singapore. Therefore if you go to Singapore you are obliged to visit this place.
Esplanade is the center of art and is the most active and busiest center in the world.
This building is also called the fly eye building or the durian building. That's because the shape is similar to the eyes of a fly and similar to durian.

Less rich in shops than other malls but a must see for the musical performances that take place

Good place to go for cultural and arts and musical performances etc., especially during the festival holiday, weekends

Happen to have live perform on exercise. Nice place with convenient location.

Outdoor concerts have unearthed many potential artistic talents.

It is a splendid event hall like Armadillo. If you take a picture of the appearance, it will be interesting to see the performance poster at that time as well.

The place for concerts and fine arts on Singapore. Even if just visiting, it's good to come once. Roof is open too.
