Wine tasting was fantastic! Trevor was knowledgeable and entertaining. Wine cheese and chat. Left with 15 bottles of highly recommended wine and a couple of ports for good measure. A most enjoyable afternoon in a relaxed enviroment. Enjoying a 2016 epitom e now.

Made to feel welcome the minute I walked in the door. Tasted some of the nicest wines in the bay( and I have been to most of the wineries.) Make sure you put Linden on your wine trail.

Needs the decor upgraded. Still a lot of Xmas decorations on display plus boxes of wine on view in restaurant.

Great wines, very hospitable and friendly owner. Even had non alcoholic wine for kiddies!!

This is the second time we have eaten at d vine restaurant this time for Sunday lunch Mr Miller (da chef) you did it again beautiful food with great respect for ingredients and great service no note pad required for this highly professional maitre de.most meals priced round the mud thirty dollar range well worth it we will be back

We only did a wine tasting, as we were booked in to have lunch somewhere else, but we really enjoyed this stop. The gentleman taking us through our tasting, at our table, was knowledgable, passionate and lovely to chat with.

Our kids were made very welcome, unlike some cellar doors around the world, to the extent they were provided a glass of the non-alcoholic sparking grape juice to try.

We enjoyed the ambience and the visit, leaving with a few bottles.

This was our first Hawke's Bay winery, so it was great to get the local information on the varieties and history of Hawke's bay.

The lady at the counter was 30 years of winery experience and very friendly and knowledgable. Takeaway wine was a little expensive, will visit again or order their wine online.

Loved the cellar door at this place. Quiet Tuesday afternoon so Vicky spent a lot of time chat and letting us try different wines. Highly recommended

Superb! The absolutely friendliest super sweet lovely lady (dark hair, sorry we didn't ask for you name!) we had across the whole of New Zealand.

A must visit if you visit the Hawkes Bay. We were welcomed like long lost friends by Sue and Trevor. Sue sat us down and along with a history of the vineyard and area introduced us to most of the wines. Sue has an excellent knowledge of the wines and explained the various varieties well. The wines are very good and reasonably priced. We purchased 6 Syrah, the price included free freight to the SI and 6 bottles for the cost of 5. The tasting room is modern, clean and tastefully designed.

We arrived at Linden Estate hoping for lunch and a glass or two of wine.
They do not do food or have an off licence to serve glasses of wine.
However... Sue ..... Such a lovely person... gave us numerous tastings and told us were to go for lunch.... no charge!
Nice location...still a bit new ... needs our support.
The Chardonay.... lightly oaked was superb.

We had the best experience at linden estate. Trevor gave us phenomenal service and was incredibly passionate about the wine. Wine tastings at the cellar door consist of about 8 wine tastings(with generous pours) and complimentary cheese and crackers. The wines were incredible and between our group of 4, we left with 9 bottles of wine which were all very reasonably priced. Beautiful place and highly recommend

Beautiful unexpected tasting: we were on our way out of Hawke s bay after a weekend away, when an accident closed the main road. We turned round and, at 4:30pm, stopped in at Linden estate. Trevor was just leaving, but happily did a tasting for us, and we had the most beautiful time! Stunning wine with some great deals on purchasing. Made a rubbish situation (not being able to get to rotorua!) into a fantastic afternoon.

Could not rate Trevor (British) higher, thank you SO much for having us at short notice. He also recommended us a place in Napier for dinner, which we tried and was fantastic. Thank you again!!!

Did a wine tasting with my sister. Beautiful wine, friendly staff. Only suggestion would be to have somewhere to sit with the wine tasting. But will be ordering online as wine really was gorgeous.

Fantastic Winery. Stunning setting and views with the most wonderful friendly and generous hosts you can find. We were not rushed at all and given plenty of time to savour and really enjoy each wine tasting. Which were so good we all left with purchasing a few bottles.
Did not eat there as we already had a previous booking elsewhere but the menu looked fantastic too.

Linden is well worth a visit. We really enjoyed the wines and Mary was fantastic. Top of our list for our next visit.
