Disappointing unfortunately. There's more to a smoothie bowl than poring a liquid smoothie into a bowl and charging more for it. Nothing particularly special about the other dishes we tried either. For us a premise behind eating out is to sample dishes we couldn't necessarily make better at home. This definitely wasn't the case at Erpingham House unfortunately. We also seemed to know more about the menu having briefly glanced at it than the staff. The saving grace and only reason for the 1 star was aesthetically its welcoming, open, airy space and depending on your tastes it's tastefully decorated - not for us but others may like it. In summary: just another restaurant to jump on the vegan bandwagon without paying much attention to content. Nothing special here so stay at home, not for COVID reasons but you'll do far better in your own pantry

The restaurant looks like an attempt at a classy venue but the beauty is barely skin deep. Staff are friendly and accommodating and the service was faultless (although we were asked if our mains were okay by three different staff, which was OTT).

The establishment has a rating of 4 from Environmental Health on account of lack of confidence in management. I feel the management is at the focus of the the issues here. Several reviewers here and on other sites have commented on the flavourless and bland offerings and the comparitive value for money.

Although the presentation was reasonable, overall unimpressed with the food relative to price point, wouldn't take anyone to Erpingham House unless they were accustomed to hospital food and loved it.

Amazing service and happy staff. Very instagrammable interiors and food to match. Had a great curry and stayed for dessert - a little pricey but worth it for chef jobeys culinary expertise. Would definitely recommend!

Our online booking allowed for a complementary cocktail up to 6 people, but when we asked for it, the waitress replied it would be literally 1 (to share?). All the dishes had the same ingredients arranged in a different manner, heavily relying on soy sauce, sugar and salt. My friend is allergic to coriander, she ordered a dish which was supposed to have none, but turned out it had. Overall terrible service and if you are looking for healthy or simply nice food, this is not the place.

I usually eat meat, and if I have a burger there is a particular place I like to go.

The burger and the atmosphere at Erpingham House was so good that I have now deleted the app as a step towards a healthier, more conscientious lifestyle.

We had been meaning to try this place out for months now. It was so refreshing not having to search the menu for vegan items! They had a great selection of food and drink. I had the fish and chips, it was tasty, very lemony, not quite what i imagined but still enjoyable. Their garlic mayo is to die for. Poppy loved her burger and had some gorgeous pistachio ice cream afterwards which I will definitely be getting next time. Very pretty place, too. Can't wait to eat here again!

Food was fantastic, but otherwise the experience was disappointing. Service was adequate but we were overcharged and staff weren't the most attentive, the place itself feels unfinished in terms of the dining room decor and the state of the toilet. Overall average, but hope it improves as the food is good.

Very pretty restaurant, definitely appeals to Instagram-ers. Menu is totally vegan with a selection of different dishes. They have a few dishes that are not mock meat. Food was good, comparable to vegan places in London.

Potentially dangerous service. I cannot eat gluten and went here specifically thinking they could cater for this. Explained very clearly that I can t eat gluten, I am also 6 months pregnant so need to be sure to avoid it. Ordered the gluten free salad, when it arrived I was told here is your gluten free salad . I looked at it and thought it had cous cous on it which is not gluten free. I queried this and was told that they swap couscous for quinoa in the gluten free salad. I said it looks like couscous and requested they check. It was cous cous. I pointed out that errors like these can kill people with allergies. They were apologetic and didn t change us for the meal however I asked if the manager could call me the following week to discuss what happened and he never called, which I find really disappointing given it could potentially have been so serious. I await the apparent phone call I was meant to recieve and in the mean time I have reported to trading standards. Food allergies are serious and this needs to be taken seriously.

Disappointing meal. Hoped for better. Good decor but really badly finished. I think we expected a really posh venue. Staff were friendly but service..to say slow would be an understatement! Furthermore very concerned that the staff don't wear any PPE and come very close to customers.

AMAZING!! Currently visiting and made a bee line for this place- am SO glad I did as the food, service , ambience was so lovely! Great food, even lovelier waitresses! Seriously recommend to all!!

Only one star because i cant do none..
They don't make the food on the premises so the wait is huge and the food is cold and its bland. Staff where lovely. We had to stand awkwardly for what felt ages to be seated. Then wait to get a drink. To be avoided. So disappointed.
I hear they have new now so I may give it one last try

I've seen mixed reviews for Erpingham House, mostly poor back in March, but recently really good, so decided to book for two of us to enjoy a great vegan culinary experience. We were definitely not disappointed. The staff were lovely; More

Bit of a let down, but good food. Unfortunately this place is let down by the waiting team, as you'll see in other reviews service is slow and unprofessional. The restaurant is very small and its incredibly stuffy with little ventilation, (1a/c unit and a small fan) and the staff seem oblivious to the current situation (they would often encroach on your personal space and the tables were set in such a way that the staff wouldn't be able to maintain distance.) Food was good but overpriced, I'm glad we only paid 50%. We ordered the sticky cauliflower which came in a congealed lumpy soy sauce as it wasn't properly reduced. It seems like they are trying to adhering to the guidelines set out by the Government regarding Covid but really the only notable difference is that there is hand sanitser upon entry, for example, I didn't see any of the staff sanitising tables upon arrival or after people had finished. Good food, good value if you get the 50% discount and a bit unhygienic.

The best food i have ever eaten. Literally the cheese burger was so so so good. I cannot recommend it enough. It looked so good and it was vegan - it didn't even seem possible. The cheesecake was also very good and the tea was really good quality as well. Id say this place it a touch more expensive than i would usually spend BUT its so very worth it because you get seriously great tasting food, good portions and the service from the staff was fantastic. I also liked that they do a carbon neautral 99p on your receipt which helps towards planting fruit trees and im all for that so yes please come and eat here. Im already wanting another burger.

Excellent Vegan dishes with loads of choice. I am not vegetarian but the cashew jackfruit Korma was wonderful. Tumeric and ginger hummus also a winner. Good wine list and fabulous service.

Great food & presentation, flavours were amazing. Lovely building. But we got there at 8pm and it took 2.5 hrs to take our order & service us a starter and main, just an unacceptable amount of time to wait for food.

Went to Erpingham House tonight for a romantic date and it definitely did NOT disappoint! The service was outstanding and the decor and style of the restaurant was breathtaking. All staff and facilities fully Covid friendly and were attentive and professional.

I have to say that I have had my fair share of quality vegan food, but nothing compares to this. We had Kale crisps to nibble on before our starter of hoisin jackfruit pancakes, both incredibly delicious. Then I had the fish and chips whilst my partner had the Moroccan salad bowl.

It's safe to say we both left fully satisfied after the meal and we will 100% be returning in the future! If you are looking for delicious vegan food, reasonably priced in a romantic setting then I would recommend this restaurant

Food was tasty. Maybe slightly over priced and the service was not great. Staff were friendly, but the service was really slow and we waited a long time for everyone to have their meals on the table. Poor as there was possibly only 2 other tables dinning, so not a busy night.

Really nice (ALL VEGAN) food, I've been multiple times and have never been disappointed with the quality or taste. The menu changes often but they seem to keep staples. I am only giving 4 stars as sometimes the service can be a little slow, but it doesn't stop me coming back.
I've included a range of photos from the times I've been. Some personal favourites have included the deep fried zucchini fritters and the mushroom bao buns :)

An absolute must, with the "eat out to help out" scheme, though would recommend anytime. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Food could satisfy any former carnivore, whilst not relying purely substituting meat and offering unique takes on each of the dishes. Ended on a high note with the CBD brownie, which was an exceptional finish to the evening.
