My husband and I needed to move because he was rel...

My husband and I needed to move because he was relocating to another position in the government. Therefore, it was a government paid move. We only had two realtor options. One being Mendy at ERA. She was great in the beginning. The problem I have is with the company overall. Mendy's co-worker new about our house and the low-ball price we were going to put it on the market for. This co-worker asked if her clients could see it three days before it went on the market. They looked at it and made an offer. The kicker was that realtor was a family member of the buyers. Things went sooth in the beginning. The well was checked and was underproducing. We were told that the buyers wanted a new well (on top of all the other things they wanted outlined in the contract). We obliged because we are kind people and took pride in the home. Not to mention we had a contract for a new home and needed that to go through in a timely manner. Our backs were against a wall. Also, we were not advised by Mendy of other options. Then began a constant flow of more work to be done on the home. The buyers even asked a week before closing, and three days after the new well was drilled, to have the lawn landscaped. Really? Why would their realtor advise them to do that. It would push the moving date? It was torture. It was the most painful experience in our life. Yes, they can ask and all we have to say is "no". I understand. But at what point is too much? What point does it go beyond and becomes unprofessional to advise your clients to keep asking? Oh, that's right it was family. Oh, that's right our realtor works in the same office as their realtor. I believe nepotism was going on. I believe that the buyers knew about our situation and were advised to take full advantage. Our realtor did not advise us, did not bring other options to the table which is what we hired her to do. Us, the sellers best interest was not sought after. Instead, the family members of the other realtor walked away with all they could get from us. So unprofessional.

Not once but TWICE! Wendy Collier and the team at ERA have sold us a house, and 3 years later (after my retirement) help me sell the same house. She listened to what we wanted when we arrived in Amarillo. Did NOT upsell us on anything out of our range. Found our beautiful home and then, 3 years later after we retired, we did NOT hesitate to reach back out to her and the team to help sell it. Not only was it during a national Pandemic, but, throw in a SNOWPOCALYPSE event and the final week of our closing was that 2021 Polar Vortex. If you knew the news for Texas, then you know it was one epic event. Wendy was there every step of the way to ensure not only did we finalize the transaction, she took precautions to ensure the home didnt freeze. If Wendy could be my realtor (for every home transaction across the United States, I would have her for sure. Did I happen to mention that while the sale was going on, my family and I had already moved to Florida to help my senior citizen mother also move. So basically Wendy did the brunt of all the work and ensured the home was sold. 10 of 10. Would recommend!

We just used Angela Johnston. This was the worst experience ever. Her famous words were I am good at stalling. Yep she was most definitely good at it. She answered our calls up till we signed the contract. Once we signed I swear to God she never answered. I even sat up road and called. There was nobody at office and she texted back with "With a client." She is the biggest liar ever. We even tried calling one time and we got a text back saying she was in the cleaners. Then she went threw our lender on our new house to relay messages. I wished I could share text messages cause I sure would. It was so bad she got blocked from all calls, texts and emails on every phone we have. They cost us a bunch of money. They don't deserve one star but only way I could write a review. I am telling you don't use this company. I could go on and and on about stuff that happened. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I highly recommend Jessica Harrelson with the Zimmerman Group at Courtyard ERA realtors. This young woman is knowledgeable and fun to work with. We looked at a lot of houses before finding the one, only to have the contract fall through. She did everything we ask to help make that first contract go through but it wasn t meant to be. We started looking again and looked at a lot more houses before finding The One . She helped us close in 2 weeks and has helped with questions we have had since closing. We not only had a super realtor to work with but I feel like we made a friend as well.

Our neighbors house is for sale across our street....

Our neighbors house is for sale across our street. So, when the realtor brings a client to show that house, they park in front of our house or others. I called the office and couldn t get any help from the receptionist, she transferred me to the office manager named Trish (Tricia). I asked her if it was normal practice to have her or her clients park in front of others peoples houses. She then stated that the street was not owned by us and they could park there if they wanted. I then asked, are you going to help pay our property taxes then? Her statement was just wow . I then said, why aren t your realtors and clients parking in the driveway. She stated that, well that would be rude on our part to park in the driveway of the house their selling. Really??? You have no idea if the houses around the house you re trying to sell, needs that space for the vehicles they own to park in front of their own house. Your lack of consideration, your lack of courtesy and respect for the houses around the house your trying to sell, speaks volumes about how your company is ran! Your answers to me and the fact you could careless earned you this review.

Our experience with the Zimmerman Team at ERA, nam...

Our experience with the Zimmerman Team at ERA, namely Jennifer, has been outstanding. We had a lengthy and specific wish list with a tight budget to work with. Jennifer took us to see every house we asked to see, answered our numerous questions, and offered incredibly helpful advice. One day she called us and told us she found us a house! It met and exceeded every item on our wish list and actually came in under budget! She helped us negotiate our offer and walked us through the whole process. There ended up being 3 offers on the house, but thanks to Jennifer's knowledge and advice they chose our offer! We are set to close next month!
