I participated in the Sound of Music performance with the CPO, and it was a lot of fun! The Jack Singer concert hall has wonderful acoustics and it feels cozy! I ve only seen the back stage so I can t say much.

Went here to see Richard Dawkins live it wasn't really a musical event but the theater is engineered so there isn't a single bad seat in the entire place I imagine seeing a band or musician here would be extraordinary the sound was perfect this be the place to see a solo act or a band

A really outstanding venue. It is getting on in years, but has been nicely maintained and was clearly well-designed to start with. The staff have always been fantastic and friendly, and given how difficult this is to find these days, definitely does not go unnoticed. The only negative would be the abysmal lack of parking in the area, but perhaps they will address that in the redevelopment plans.

The loby is quite nice, and has a minibar. Easy to find your seat as the staff are friendly. The theatre has comfortable chairs and it is easy to see the stage from any seat. The only problem is the parking, as it gets quite busy in downtown.

Theatre central in Calgary. Most companies operate out of this building. Orchestra, live professional theatre, amateur theatre. You can certainly find something to enjoy.
Theatre Calgary and CPO are highlites to check out

Normally organization is better, but tonight they saw fit to constrict the lobby at the end of the show. This caused a pile up on the down escalator and as such is very hazardous. How is restricting the outlet of an escalator not a code violation?

I decided to write this review as I sit on the phone for a ridiculously long time trying to renew my National Geographic Live subscription. My alternatives? Go down there, mail it, fax it?! How about an automated system where I can conveniently renew--seriously outdated way of doing things. The shows are great and the audience deserves an easier way to access

Went to see Roseanne Cash and her performance as a superstar was terrific, and acoustics of building wonderful. The way the arts common opened the show was ridiculous. A long speech by one of their staff and then a plug by a sponsor following are so disrespectful of a true artist like she is, it is like putting a coca cola frame around the Mona Lisa. I am sorry but it is not about you. Then there was a whole apology for building the facility on native land and a declaration of how much carbon they saved ....insane and ridiculous. If they were truly into saving carbon, they would only book artists within walking distance of the facility. If you want to save carbon, fine do it, be real about it and shut up. I knew I should have dressed as brown face Aladdin for the event. These kinds of platitudes deny reality that we live in a world where carbon is our life and will be for generations and just making silly speeches without any real obvious display of how is nonsense. Although I did see that Roseanne was nice enough to sing only low methane songs. Just be what you are an auditorium for artists to perform and don't get in their way with your own self serving foolishness.
