We were at a show at the Jack Singer Concert Hall. It was amazing. There isn't really a bad seat in the whole place. Great place to see a show!
Jason Mraz concert was really entertaining! Acoustics was awesome! Couldn t wait for the release of Mraz new album!
Great Venue and upgraded our seats! Allowed us to bring drinks into the event which is not always allowed at other venues.
Entertaining live national geographic presentation on orangutans
There was Full house. Music and Food create communities
This is an easy to access theatre with a good selection of events, helpful staff and great bar service.
A great venue with secure underground parking. But my six ounce glass of white wine was $9.50. That's crazy!
Always fresh new displays to see. Fantastic indigenous art displays right now.
Great venue to see a show. Plenty of parking and easy access.
Fantastic space for large conference style presentations. Great service for drinks and enough restrooms to service large groups.
Many great events to attend here, an excellent venue!
Great venue for a night out. Well priced ticket subscriptions.
Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra was an incredible experience....will be back with the children!!!
This was so fun to walk through and see various mini exhibits of work! Great concept and excellent execution!
One of the best venues in the city. Truly adds to any performance.
Good place to catch great shows. Highly recommend Alberta Theatre Projects!
Amazing theater. Worth the price of admission. Will be coming back for sure
A good venue and in a good location. Watched Dawkins and Porco. It was a great experience. Hope to visit again soon.
I participated in the Sound of Music performance with the CPO, and it was a lot of fun! The Jack Singer concert hall has wonderful acoustics and it feels cozy! I ve only seen the back stage so I can t say much.
Wonderful place to have an event, great location and wonderful atmosphere
Top rate facility. Well run and maintained. Love going to shows there.
Went here to see Richard Dawkins live it wasn't really a musical event but the theater is engineered so there isn't a single bad seat in the entire place I imagine seeing a band or musician here would be extraordinary the sound was perfect this be the place to see a solo act or a band
Nice venue, though the lobby is not particularly pleasing to the eye.
A really outstanding venue. It is getting on in years, but has been nicely maintained and was clearly well-designed to start with. The staff have always been fantastic and friendly, and given how difficult this is to find these days, definitely does not go unnoticed. The only negative would be the abysmal lack of parking in the area, but perhaps they will address that in the redevelopment plans.
Honestly one of the nicest places I've been to for shows and orchestras. Also it's in the heart of downtown so it's a great place for night life
A fantastic venue for the heart of Calgary's Art's Community
The loby is quite nice, and has a minibar. Easy to find your seat as the staff are friendly. The theatre has comfortable chairs and it is easy to see the stage from any seat. The only problem is the parking, as it gets quite busy in downtown.
Theatre central in Calgary. Most companies operate out of this building. Orchestra, live professional theatre, amateur theatre. You can certainly find something to enjoy.
Theatre Calgary and CPO are highlites to check out
I love this place, where you can listen beautiful Music played by very good musicians.
The Singer still sounds great! getting a little long in tooth though...Ugh! those seats!!! CPO still brilliant
Decent art exhibits. The Jack Singer Concert Hall is the highlight for sure.
The summer camp for kids is great! Great memories from this place!
Always stellar performances and they take great care of you!
Normally organization is better, but tonight they saw fit to constrict the lobby at the end of the show. This caused a pile up on the down escalator and as such is very hazardous. How is restricting the outlet of an escalator not a code violation?
A handsome concert hall with beautiful acoustics. Ushers are helpful and friendly. A satisfying experience.
Very nice event hall. My wife and I had a good time watching a beautiful concert.
Saw a great show at the Jack Singer Concert Hall. Excellent facility.
Incredible production house, lots of great shows and good staff!
This space has decent accoustics and many balcony seats offer a great bird's eye view.
Nice place. Small for a Grand theatre, so it's intimate. Great location as well.
Always something to see... And free! Just walk in to see the public exhibits... Or to book a ticket for any of their amazing shows! If you're ever looking for inspiration... Try here!
Always a great place go be, sound quality is great!
Nice facility. Enjoyed the show despite more than half the audience was dressed more for the gym than for the theatre.
Excellent venue for performing arts. Excellent acoustics. Not the best parking.
A nice place for some theatre and various other concerts. Parking in the garage below
Incredibly diverse performances. Incredibly diverse artists, genres, styles etc. Love Nat Geo!!
Went to Serena Ryder. Good layout, intimate setting, sound travels really well
I decided to write this review as I sit on the phone for a ridiculously long time trying to renew my National Geographic Live subscription. My alternatives? Go down there, mail it, fax it?! How about an automated system where I can conveniently renew--seriously outdated way of doing things. The shows are great and the audience deserves an easier way to access
Although it isn't the most modern place to have performances, it's a great space for live acoustics!
Went to see Roseanne Cash and her performance as a superstar was terrific, and acoustics of building wonderful. The way the arts common opened the show was ridiculous. A long speech by one of their staff and then a plug by a sponsor following are so disrespectful of a true artist like she is, it is like putting a coca cola frame around the Mona Lisa. I am sorry but it is not about you. Then there was a whole apology for building the facility on native land and a declaration of how much carbon they saved ....insane and ridiculous. If they were truly into saving carbon, they would only book artists within walking distance of the facility. If you want to save carbon, fine do it, be real about it and shut up. I knew I should have dressed as brown face Aladdin for the event. These kinds of platitudes deny reality that we live in a world where carbon is our life and will be for generations and just making silly speeches without any real obvious display of how is nonsense. Although I did see that Roseanne was nice enough to sing only low methane songs. Just be what you are an auditorium for artists to perform and don't get in their way with your own self serving foolishness.
Those tiny chairs are NOT meant for tall people. Uncomfortable for the whole performance
Went and saw show, very enjoyable.its the first time there, I would definitely go again.
Nat Geo Live, great presentation by a very articulate explorer. I always learn something new each time Nat Geo presents.
