Best pizza I've ever had, and I've had plenty! I realize that's a strong statement, but it's well deserved. Everything from the crust, to the sauce, makes it the winner.

Also, amazing pasta and salads. Great prices and atmosphere with indoor or outdoor seating.

Definitely go here!!

The food was awesome, decorations is fantastic and it's a really good place for a date night!
My husband and I ordered calamari for the appetizer. It was good ( I'm not a fan of sea food). For the main course, I had fresh pasta with basil and pesto. My husband ordered ravioli filled with honey roasted butternut squash and roasted sage and Walnut. Both of the dishes were so yummy and I should mention that they were both vegan diahes. I can't forget the taste of roasted squash. For the dessert, we had tiramisu which was really good but I wish they had used lady fingers biscuits instead of sponge cake for the base layer ( personal choice). Overall, food quality and servants behaviours are really great and I highly recommend the place for important meetings and date nights.

They're a great, local Italian place. The pizza is thin crust and perfectly cooked. The salad is light and lemony, and we always love the wait staff. The patio is nice but hot in summer and shade moves as the sun goes down. We always enjoy Enoteca!

AMAZING food and five-star customer service! We had Vespaio take-out last night for date night and Juan was so accommodating in helping us straighten out an order mixup (that wasn't even their fault). I'm so grateful for local establishments like this, their chefs and staff and hope we can all continue to support them through these unique times. Thank you Vespaio, we will be calling again soon!

The less fancy bistro style sister to Vespaio, Enoteca Vespaio is a perfect choice for a low key date night.

Three words: fried risotto balls
You don't even know how good food can be until you eat these. I have daydreams about cutting into the fried cheesy goodness.

It's a bit unbelievable that we followed up the risotto balls with one of their awesome pizzas but sometimes you'd be amazed what a stomach can do.

Super fancy authentic Italian restaurant! I got the lasanga and it was amazing! The decorations of this restaurant are so neat! The lighting is dim and the table are very personal. It's a great little spot that is so perfect for a romantic date.

OH MY GOODNESS. The lasagna bolognese is THE BEST lasagna in the entire world. It is so freaking delicious. Good meat to sauce ratio. The spinach noodles are perfectly cooked, the cheese is high quality and creamy. The marina is amazing and perfectly spiced. I don't like the sausage on top, but it is easily removed. They have delicious bread and excellent spread to go along with it. They are vegetarian friendly and the wait staff is always amazing. Everything else I have eaten here is pretty good. I do think it is a tad bit over-priced, but most likely it is due to the location. Huge fan of them!

Very busy on the weekend and seating is crowded. They use elevated platforms to put pizza pans on because they won't fit on the tables. They are very proud of their Italian cuisine for no apparent reason, The marinara was runny and the ceasar dressing way too fishy. So the food was just so so, we waited for 40 minutes for a tiny table for two in a loud, crowded place and paid premium prices but the place was packed, Guess that's another thing that keeps Austin weird. On the plus side the bathroom was clean,

I love the bar atmosphere here, the staff at all levels are the hardest working most admirable people in the biz. Food is excellent, cocktails are delectable, wines are from smaller producers and always interesting selections. We often try new dining spots and end up coming back to Vespaio, a classic pleaser that warms our hearts and delivers the highest quality and best overall experience. Bravo!

Long waits, yes. But the wait for the small table charm and the phenomenal food is well worth it. My wife had the Gnocchi. I had the Manicotti. We were stunned at how good the meal was. Please give them a try, it is great.

This place has the best Italian food I've ever had. We live in Dallas but we make sure we stop here whenever we're in Austin. We would drive here for their deliciousness. Also I'm vegan(but I ate here before I became vegan too) and their vegan options don't disappoint. I want some right now as I type.

Good god, yes, yes, yes! This place is delicious! In other words, if you are in the mood for Italian food, it's the spot! Everything is homemade (except the alcohol of course). Gnocchi was melting in your mouth so good and the sauce is smooth. Save some room for desert because their Amaretti cookie is just oh so yummy! Will be back!

My favorite Italian place in Austin! I've been here multiple times and I'll keep coming back. I actually prefer their pizza to Homeslice any day of the week!
Only thing I would change is the mood lighting, can be hard to read the menu sometimes!

I went here almost 2 years ago the night before I got married. It was really lovely. The risotto balls were spectacular, the steak with reduced chianti was amazing, and the pizza was also fantastic. This is great place for food. I want to go back as soon as possible.

Our 1st time eating here & I can not wait to go back!! Our waiter Ben was so sweet & so attentive. The food was delicious, the wine was on point & it was the best way to celebrate my mom's 60th Birthday! What a great night! I HIGHLY recommend!

Maybe it is a cool place and maybe also people love it but they don t have a clue about what is Italian cuisine. I couldn t even eat what they served: The food is horrible by quality and preparation. They have a good selection of wines and the service is good but everything else is a nightmare. Please don t consider this an Italian Restaurant!

As a New Yorker, I can say this is hands down the best Italian restaurant in Austin and would be up there if it were transported to NYC. They have some great seasonal specials like sweat bread pasta and grilled oysters but the mainstays of the menu are great. There is usually a wait and they don't take reservations, but there friendly bar staff makes the wait very pleasant.

Food Poisoning!!!!!!! We had a party of 4 and 2 of us got food poisoning from the chopped salad. I was severely disappointed, as I have eaten here many times in the past. I would highly recommend eating elsewhere at this point and time!

The food was exceptionally good. The area where we sat felt a bit on the claustrophobic side.
I'm also very disappointed with the valet service. A scratch mark on my door appeared. I know it was not there before I arrived.
Other than the car issue, it was delightful.

I went after 9 for dessert only on a Wednesday and sat at a high table in the bar, so can only comment on that time and place but Vespaio seems to be a perfect place for a late date or romantic rendezvous. The setting is beautiful; decor, furnishings and lighting create an ambiance for relaxation and easy conversation. There's a harmonious buzz and the friendly waitstaff float around efficiently but unobtrusively. I had the Torta Nera, a rummy chocolate walnut torte with buttercream "filling" (artistically arranged on top), finished with chocolate nibs and a caramel sauce drizzled over the plate. Sweet but not cloyingly, moist but not soggy, big flavor but nothing overpowering, and just the right size serving to go with an espresso or port. My very friendly waitress (who's worked there 9 years!) invited me to come back another day to try a signature handmade pasta dish that features their own sauce made from hand picked, sun-dried tomatoes.

I will.

House-made pasta and fantastic pastas. I'd been struggling to find good Italian in Texas since moving from Europe and the pesto on "handkerchief" pasta is second only to Vernazza. Small/Large portion options are terrific for variety.

Amazing food and service! It is a pretty classy place, so make sure you are wearing something somewhat nice. And be ready to spend a little bit of money too. There are few plates for around 12 to $16, but most of them are around 30 to $40

I've gone to Enoteca Vespaio a few times on Sunday for brunch, so I can only speak on that. It's one of my favorite places for brunch in Austin. Everything I've ordered is excellent and the service has always been great.

It was kind of pricey, but the wait staff are incredible! I tasted 5 or 6 wines before I found one that I liked, and our wait person was so very patient. Of course, she was as thrilled as I when I found one that I liked...

Thank you, Allen, Scott and Claud. Gary and I did take out tonight. As per usual you did not disappoint! Love that I can walk to pick up a fantastic dinner in the 'hood. Love your food!!

Not too many Italian restaurants would impress me, but Enoteca hands down the best Pasta Carbonara I ve tried in USA! Even Tiramisu was off the chain .. music and lightning were welcoming yet gentle.. I would go back again. Mast see!

The restaurant is in a pretty small space, so be warned that its gonna be a bit cramped when you go in. If you're not claustrophobic, this is a fantastic Italian place!

Everything I've had on their menu has been delicious, and a perfect portion size. From the espresso to the pasta, meals here have been a must-have. My personal favorite is the tagliatelle con funghi (it's so good, I have to remind myself to try other things on the menu every time I go in), but if you're not a lover of mushrooms, there are plenty of other options on the menu to try instead!

In addition, the staff is always friendly, and well-versed in their wine and food selections. They have a good variety of wines, and local brews as well.

I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for fresh, quality Italian food in the Austin area!

Vespaio served so much better food compared to food served also very recently in New York City's finest Italian restaurant on Central Park South, Merea. It really isn't surprising that authentic Italian food served here in Austin can be so much better than the food in so called better restaurants in the Big Apple. In my humble opinion it wasn't really close.

Such a wonderful place. Enoteca is great for dates or casual outings. It's one of my favorite restaurants in town. Consistently incredible food and really great service. The cocktails and wine selection have never disappointed. It's really an absolute treasure of a restaurant.

It's a nice, simple, high quality Italian restaurant at a moderate price. I prefer it over the more formal version of the restaurant right next door. It's a popular restaurant so it's going to be noisy and the later in the evening you go there will certainly be a wait. It is my "go to" casual Italian restaurant.
