Did my part time language course here. The quality of teaching is world class, they do not have double standards when it comes to part time courses. Id recommend the university for part time courses.

The management and their website is terrible , admissions are open for 15 days , and they don't even intimate you on that on the webdweb . People in the reception can't even speak english !
This place doesn't seem to be legitimate. I submitted a manuscript to its journal there in June 2017 and haven't heard back from them, despite numerous emails asking about the status of my work. Sham artists....?
I got relaxation from my neck pain, Dr Chandra Shekhar Sir is very good, Highly recommended. And the University provides necessary physiotherapy instruments thats more useful to us.
I am an aeronautical engineer and I studied Russian here. The professors are truly world class. My studies in Russian here helped me work on the Russian fighter jet aircraft, Sukhoi and MIGs for the Indian Air Force. Professor Neeraja Jaiswal is one of the best Russian professors there. I studied Russian under her guidance. The library at EFLU is one of the best in Asia for foreign language books in all domains including engineering. I read modern French, German and Russian literature from that library.
Hi May I know please how to be a part of this college? Me tried a lot on contacting that number but no one has received the call? So anyone can suggest me that when is the last date for Indian students for applying the form.
EFLU HYD is Renowned University to study various courses. I'm very glad to study My Master in English Literature from EFLU HYDERABAD. An outstanding faculty and their lessons will brush up our knowledge in the significant manner. Very good Friends from across the country as well as from aboard . Study here and make your future bright.
Went to Dr Chandra Shekhar sir, who is the physiotherapist at the EFLU health center. The exercises he prescribed had very good results. He is polite, engaging, and understanding. If the university provides some advanced physiotherapy instruments, it would definitely help in the treatment for EFLU students. Would totally recommend. --Mahima from MA cafeteria course.
Doing MA English cafeteria here. The university has a unique system of education. The student has to select 4 or 5 courses from 28 courses for each semester, and in two years, we have an opportunity to choose from about 70 courses. It is a real adaptation of foreign university system, and only one campus in India with such a system. Thanking Almighty for giving me such a chance.
The best when it comes to English Language teaching and learning ! No bias whatsoever and the examinations are conducted very strictly unlike many other universities. Bonus:The canteen here serves some wonderful dishes at dead cheap prices!
I have been diagnosed with early stage spondylitis. Treatment at the Eflu health centre from physiotherapist Dr. Chandra Sekhar helped to a great extent. Highly recommended to all.
I for one, having completed my UG in a central varsity, kinda had more expectations out of this campus, as this place is usually touted as a premier institute herein southern India for English language & literature studies. But as usual, what u hear is not exactly what u see.
Literary Studies:- Now, as far as their Literary studies is concerned, indeed it appears to be diverse, with them having comparative literature, Indian literature, one or two professors offering critical humanities apart from the std canonical literature & oh! they do have a dept. for translation studies. But, am sure by now, Prof.A.V.Ashok, Prof.Dilip.C.Naik & Prof.Rajiv wouldn't be teaching anymore & would indeed suggest to audit 1-2courses of Prof.D.VenkatRao. Now, apart from them, there isn't much to talk about literature school & indeed there are various other members of the teaching faculty of this school with whom u can have one heck of an easy approach, guaranteed short & light coursework (compared to the above mentioned names), & secured grades the moment you are in their good looks...but thats what makes it so typical & boring & trust me you"ll end taking them only to fulfill your rubrics.
Interdisciplinary Studies:- Hmm, then next, their school of interdisciplinary studies indeed instantly grabs one attention the moment u see their course description. On a serious note, will suggest one to opt some courses offered by Pro.Syed of the Aesthetic & Philosophy dept. and Prof.DilipKDas & Prof.Mahadav of the Cultural Studies dept. Other courses on film studies, communication, journalism..nah..nada. Oh but unless u wanna make your grade card look good. Social Seclusion studies...i have never taken any of their courses & so u better ask others regarding that.
European & Asian Language studies:- As far as programmes concerning Language studies is concerned, they offer French, Spanish, Arabic, Japanese, & surprisingly they do have a hindi dept. Mandarin, Korean, Turkish, & Persian are recent updates.
Ele & linguistics & education:- Nevertheless, i would still recommend this place if one has Linguistics (again not for phonetics & computational linguistics) , Ele & B.Ed courses in their minds. But one would face a pretty terrible time to get acclimated to the rather unusually conventional faculty of B.Ed dept (i wonder whether they are even aware of the heterodoxy tradition...trust me don't even dare to make any attempt to make them realize it) but excluding that, u get to intern at kvs & then a pretty decent campus placement.
On sight campus facilities:- their canteen, other eateries, shopping complexes, squares, hostels, play areas, gym, 24x7 reading room...man they just suck a big time. Its really green though...but its just 20+acres and so its like after 1-2visits u don't wanna again go to ntr garden (unlike osmania or hcu)....so eventually u'll get bored out of it and even with that Heritage site (a well) of the Nizams.
Library:- But then, their RameshMohan Library is really great...i mean, u won't even make it out, when you stand infront of this building that it has more than 1 lakh books.
Students:- unlike the other central varsities, this place is actually not that diverse & so is their student council which usually represent itself through candle light march & other such photo op platforms. I don't remember, the student body celebrating state formation day of either Andhra or Telangana (may be by now they would have) but kerala state formation day is observed & u see them Passionately dressing up for onam (love the pookalam part though but why sadhya..for the entire day...c'mon), saraswati & durga pooja. Excluding these festives, only dandia night & holi makes a rare cameo appearance & they really embody the spirit of universalism...but the moment the haryanvis & up-biharis make a stand off wrt song selections...that also ends abruptly. And remember that, irrespective of ur rationalistic, atheistic & agnostic stand u have to make some monetary contributions.
A university where I spent best par of my educational life . I really enjoyed my stay doing my Ph.D program in the university. I recommend all that if you are looking for a bright and promising career in language and literature of any major languages in the world, then Eflu is , undoubtedly , your university.

English and Foreign Languages University is one of the best Universities in India. This is the only University offers various Languages and literature courses offered. You can learn many languages like Spanish, Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin, and many more. Highly experienced and qualified professors are here to teach you. I got admission in PGCTE. Great infrastructure and all the facilities available here. Distance and regular courses as there for you. The best institute for your language learning. .
I personally don't have any reviews about this university but they are extremely slow with respect to declaration of result. It has been such a long time since the ug entrance was conducted and results are still awaited. Children are in dilemma whether they should take up other courses or wait for the results
Hello all, I want to join MA English distance mode. I heard there will be a lot of assignments , tell me something about them. And how do we learn without any classroom training?

we wanted to register for part time languages course online but continuously shown as "server down" after that tried vigorously to call on numbers provided but no one has lifted the phones ,and when we walked directly to the Hyderabad campus security not allowed inside the campus. Today morning 13.07.2018 when we opened the site showing registrations are closed. Please help me in this regard.
Great silence. Good number of language and literature books. TV room also available. Continously running the Swayam Prabha Humanities 1 channel which telecasts language and literature lessons by eminent professors.
It is with great regret and pain I write this peace. I am a retired Banker , I have enroled myself for the short term course in Sanskrit. Only recently we were issued an identity card . I entered the library today to have a glance at the library and I was allowed inside the library . I found a book interesting and started flipping the pages. It was at this time an employee of the library approached me and asked me to leave the library saying that the library was not meant for certificate courses. I was sitting among some students and had to leave the library humiliated, it was the first time in my life of 60 years that I had faced such a situation. if short term courses are not allowed then why was I allowed in the first place. Decorum demands a different approach of allowing for the day and asking not to come from the next day. I had met the asst librarian Mr Tukaram to clarify, who insisted that it was the Regitrar's order and was their at the entrance. What a fall of social values that a senior person is hounded out as a thief quoting technicalities. I thought libraries were dissimators of knowledge. After all these institutions are maintained out of tax payer's money like me. If at all any order exists that libraries are not open to short time courses it is clear that people are working according to their whims and fancies.
What kind of management they have.Neither they receive any call nor the website provide any information properly for the person who wants to apply for any course.Last couple of day I have been trying to fill the registration form just don't get it how to do it.
Education quality is very good, but for middle and lower class family amount is not affordable even scholarship scheme is too bad they provide only 8000/year it means per month 1000 which is much lower than other central universities and Hostel facility isn't good . they behave like a dictator, even family, friends and parents can't stay there a single day. This is not a central university . its like a private institute.in vacations Students have to vacate their room forcefully don't know why but nothing going to change in hostel rooms . Library opens at 9 AM and closes 10 PM but no space to study for 200 hundred students. Security guard's Behavior is also a problem.
I had been a student two years ago in PGCTE course. The most remarkable thing is the adaptive and avant garde approach towards learning. Teachers are friendly. Campus is sprawling. Hostel rooms are neat. Beautiful place of learning in a word.
Treatment from Dr Chandra Shekar, the physiotherapist at EFL UNIVERSITY health centre has brought about a good change for my back pain. Highly recommend his treatment.
