I have lived at WestRidge for two years. I have found WestRidge to be a special place as it is a friendly and supportive community that cares for each other. The Staff genuinely care for the well-being of the residents. They are kind, accommodating, helpful and flexible to devise solutions to meet my needs.

I like the size of the building. Not to big that I don t know people and not to small that it can t provide the breadth of activities it does offer. WestRidge is located at a very convenient location very close to Ridgedale shopping district, library, YMCA, churches near by, parks and trails, easy access to bus transportation, etc.

WestRidge provides numerous activities across a spectrum of interests from day trips, music performances, educational seminars, travel presentations, exercise class, arts and crafts, celebrations with food ......to cards, bingo. There is something that is of interest to everyone.

We also are blessed wIth a Chaplin who leads a weekly worship service, is available for conversation and counseling and who will reach out to the residents.

I am very happy living at WestRidge and I encourage others to strongly consider joining us here.

I moved here from western Massachusetts, one year ago. From my very first tour and, later, move into my one-bedroom apartment I found the staff to be caring and accommodating. I felt "at home" from day one! As the months rolled on, I also found a community of new friends. WestRidge offers so much to do! Trips, seminars, exercise class, arts and crafts. There is a library, reading room, dining hall, pool table, two baby-grand pianos. You can choose to be an extrovert or an introvert. The amenities in the apartments are everything you need to make for comfortable living. And there are well-kept laundry rooms on each floor. There is also a chaplain who provides not only worship services in the beautiful chapel but also music chats where he shares his love of the great composers and styles of music. Seriously, living at WestRidge is like all the fun of a college dorm - except for a retired population! Best move ever. Come. See for yourself!

The staff has been doing a great job of keeping us safe. They all deserve to be commended. I have been here for 11 years and the location is great for me to get to work. I like my apartment and enjoy going on the outings.

My wife and I moved into WestRidge a year ago. We used to be caretakers 6 years ago. We decided to come back because we already knew half of the residents and felt like this was the best place to be. We enjoy our coffee in the morning with other residents and enjoy the socialization aspect of this community. I would highly suggest WestRidge to anyone who is looking for a new home. We are not just another senior community, we are a family.

My mother was one of the first residents to move into WestRidge when the building first opened up. This community proved to be the ideal place. Our church was across the street, shopping, friends, accessible to get on the freeway, were all factors in our decision. I moved here June of 2019 after I had been in my house for 60 years. I am very happy here with the staff who are kind, caring and helpful people. We have opportunities for many social activities, and we can be as social as we want to be. Come for a tour and see for yourself. You will like it too.

We consistently have good staff here at WestRidge. They care about how the residents are and they take good care of us. This is an exceptional place. Great location, walking distance to shopping and restaurants. I have been here for 8.5 years and I consider moving here the second best decision I have ever made.

I have lived at WestRidge for 4.5 years. I like the cleanliness of the building, and how comfortable and cozy the apartments are. I enjoy the programs that are offered here, especially the chapel service. Location is great and I like being able to use the bus for transportation to get my groceries during the week. The residents and staff are helpful and caring; they create a friendly and welcoming environment.

From a "small town" to a "big city"- How different would my life be? I was pleasantly surprised how welcoming the residents of WestRidge of Minnetonka are. How peaceful and quiet the atmosphere is here. Also, how convenient the walking distance to stores and just a mile up the highway there is a large shopping mall. Do you like to go for a daily walk? Well, there are beautiful paved, tree-lined walking paths bordering a pond where gentle geese and ducks go quietly swimming by. And above all, the apartments are bright, cheerful and very homey. I am very glad I am a resident at WestRidge of Minnetonka.
