This company is so terrible, they don't even have managers on duty after 6 pm or even on recognized holidays. This company is considered by many in the city as the bottom tier of the call-center industry.

My sister works for this company and always has nothing but good things to say about them. They do customer service rep appreciation days where they do great giveaways. They also do food days pretty often. It sounds like a great place.

Worked here for almost two years. Co-workers where great. bosses worked with you. Reviews where always an issue to get them on time. Low pressure atmosphere if you are technically inclined. It also helps if you dont have a problem with repeating yourself to the people calling in.

THE COMPANY IS A JOKE !

THE COMPANY IS A JOKE !
If you see positive reviews, be skeptical, many are most likely coarse by management. My former supervisor gave a positive review months ago on this place and now that she has quit, it has mysteriously disappeared ?

EMS is an awesome company. I have a friend that worked there but left so she could welcome her baby boy into the world and the management team sent her a congratulations card and a plant! How awesome is that. EMS truly appreciates their staff. They absolutely go above and beyond!

This has to be one of the worst managed call centers in Omaha. The owner is out of touch and disconnected. The management never keeps their word and will lie to your face. They are really good at talking bullshit and passing the blame. Save yourself the trouble and aggravation of working here.

I've just read the reviews of this place prior to writing this. I will say now do not work here because whoever they do hire out of desperation, are people that call local business for food delivery and threaten local business. EMS is an atrocity.

Definitely one of the best places I have worked! My supervisors/managers are very encouraging and willing to teach me the things I don't already know. There are really great opportunities for advancement. Great experience!

The employees who work there are nice and friendly, but the owner Mitch Johnson is a cheapskate! No money is spent on anything the company or employees really need. The chairs are so dirty people complain of rashes on their bodies, the desks are beaten up and the floors & walls look like the call center was once a GIANT PUBLIC RESTROOM ! ! !
I quit the company because the lack of respect and appreciation the owner and management showed the employees: all loyalty is wasted at this place. When I first started at EMS, the consistent message veteran employees told me, was EMS is a good rest stop to some place better.

I have been working here for going on 9 years and really enjoy it and the people that I work with as well. This call center is more laid back than any other call center I have ever been at before. Dress is casual and you are able to read books, magazines and surf the internet in between calls and e-mails. I have worked on several different accounts and while sometimes the hours were not ideal, there is always opportunities to move to different accounts with a schedule that would better fit your needs. Just as I have done several times. I go to school full time and work full time and have had the ability to do homework between calls. I have made great friends here and enjoy all of those that I work with on a daily basis.

Working at EMS has been more than great! I feel I am part of Family more than co-workers M-F. It's a pleasure to come into work daily and not the normal drag feet another day feeling. I am encouraged to go further and pushed to do my best, I am an asset instead of a body filling a chair. Not only do they care about me but they keep my family and "life challenges" in mind, you don't find that often if ever now a days. It has been a great experience to be here and looking forward to many more years with my EMS family!

Not a good employer in the least. No benefits or PTO (Although they'll tell you in the interview that "401k is coming soon" but in the nearly 2 years I was there it was always "coming soon."

The company in the interview may tell you that you will be a dedicated agent, and the client will have the understanding that you are a dedicated agent to them. But EMS will willingly violate these contracts and stick you as secondary on their ever-so-precious Pandigital project to take overflow calls and make sure that you know not to tell the client you are supposedly dedicated for that they are actually doing this.

When they lose the contract that you are an agent for they will ship you down to one of their other projects and if your pay was higher than your new project cut your pay as well. They also will not allow you ANY flexibility in your new schedule on your new project even if your life requires it such as school or other employment. They give you your new schedule and it's take it or leave it. Doesn't matter that you have to be out of town on the weekends for a non-profit that you help run like it was in my situation.

On one instance they even had a situation where they required all "dedicated agents" to work on Christmas Eve for them as overflow for their Pandigital project if their main project didn't require them to work that day. They only gave four day notice for this, and one agent on another project was already at that time on vacation in Texas and was going to be until after Christmas. They simply told him it was mandatory and that if he didn't show up he would be terminiated. They didn't actually follow through with their threat when he didn't show up that day (although they did write him up for it as I recall), but the simple fact that they were willing to threaten that speaks volumes about the company and their opinion of their employees.

They also will tell you that the attendance policy is firm and unwavering at only being allowed x number of lates and x number of unexcused missed days, and they'll fire one employee for hitting it, but will play favourites and grant exceptions to other employees.

ALso as "A Google User" below stated the scheduled reviews are always late. My 6 month review was actually so late it was done at the same time as my 1 year review, which itself was 3 months late.

Also not sure why they are tagged as "Health" up on the business type, but they aren't theyr're just an outsource services call centre.

The work is not hard and the boss is not mean. It is the best call center type of company in Omaha to me. For any one with hotel front desk experience, this is a company to work for. The job is only booking reservation. There is no checking guests in or out. Great employer!

I have worked at many call centers and EMS is definitely the best. I have worked many accounts during the 12+ years I have been employed by EMS and have found the Supervisors to be understanding and ready to help. The atmosphere is very relaxed as we can read books and do other activities in between calls. There are always those who find reasons to be negative about a work place. However. since I have seen many employees leave EMS only to come back, this in itself says a lot.
