Not a good employer in the least. No benefits or PTO (Although they'll tell you in the interview that "401k is coming soon" but in the nearly 2 years I was there it was always "coming soon."
The company in the interview may tell you that you will be a dedicated agent, and the client will have the understanding that you are a dedicated agent to them. But EMS will willingly violate these contracts and stick you as secondary on their ever-so-precious Pandigital project to take overflow calls and make sure that you know not to tell the client you are supposedly dedicated for that they are actually doing this.
When they lose the contract that you are an agent for they will ship you down to one of their other projects and if your pay was higher than your new project cut your pay as well. They also will not allow you ANY flexibility in your new schedule on your new project even if your life requires it such as school or other employment. They give you your new schedule and it's take it or leave it. Doesn't matter that you have to be out of town on the weekends for a non-profit that you help run like it was in my situation.
On one instance they even had a situation where they required all "dedicated agents" to work on Christmas Eve for them as overflow for their Pandigital project if their main project didn't require them to work that day. They only gave four day notice for this, and one agent on another project was already at that time on vacation in Texas and was going to be until after Christmas. They simply told him it was mandatory and that if he didn't show up he would be terminiated. They didn't actually follow through with their threat when he didn't show up that day (although they did write him up for it as I recall), but the simple fact that they were willing to threaten that speaks volumes about the company and their opinion of their employees.
They also will tell you that the attendance policy is firm and unwavering at only being allowed x number of lates and x number of unexcused missed days, and they'll fire one employee for hitting it, but will play favourites and grant exceptions to other employees.
ALso as "A Google User" below stated the scheduled reviews are always late. My 6 month review was actually so late it was done at the same time as my 1 year review, which itself was 3 months late.
Also not sure why they are tagged as "Health" up on the business type, but they aren't theyr're just an outsource services call centre.
