Awesome & knowlegible Sales & Installation person. Had been with one of the large competitors for 30+ years and they made me mad for the last time! Called EMC and have been impressed with them. Customer Service and the appreciation of a loyal customer is big with me! I can only expect the same "service" from the Security entity as I have received from EMC Electric. The product connected to and replaced the competitors equipment easily! Thank you EMC Security!

I m enjoying my service so far with EMC security. I ve had the service like a month now. And I love how it sends me texts to let me know my alarm is disarmed or armed Incase I may have forgotten to set it. But if that happens I do have the advantage to set it on the app as well. I ve done one test so far to see if they are getting a signal.

I've had EMC for several years now and 2 occasions my alarm went off. On the first one occasion my front door came open, then on the second occasion I accidentally hit the distress button (by accident) EMC responded extremely promptly! They had the local sheriff's department there within minutes to check and make sure everything was okay and that I was okay.
I'm extremely pleased with them! I feel better knowing that if anything happens they will be right there.

Install was done very quickly and efficiently . Tech was qualified and answered all questions and did a great job explaining all the features.
Did not have any yard signs with him as they are on backorder. Still do not have sign

Salesman was great and professional. Easy to set up and install on your own. Customer service was quick and efficient.Well worth the cost.

EMC is the best! Keypad is so easy to use, the interface tells you exactly what's going on and has user friendly prompts. The sales rep, technicians and monitors are very helpful, and communication among all is true teamwork based on knowledge and professionalism with great attitudes. No contract, no hard oversales, they are always available and the price is unbeatable!

I appreciate the security system. I can " rest in peace," because it is secure. I hate that I have accidentally set it off so many tines, but,
the security team is always so quick to respond and they are very
friendly and understanding. Now, I check it every time before I open any door. ( Green is on, alarm is gone.) I just wish the red/green lights were larger, they are very small to see from across the room.

I changed from another security system that I had used for several years. In all regards, EMC is a totally different and superior service. The equipment is sophisticated in its capabilities but simple and intuitive to use. I installed it myself. Customer service has been world-class in helping me with the installation. I couldn't ask for better. Fast, cordial and useful. I am totally glad that I made the decision to change!

Been a customer for over 13 years. Same $16.95 rate for 13 years. Not locked in at all. I can cancel anytime. As a matter of fact, I pay in advance, taking advantage of a discount. But if I needed to cancel, the prorated unused portion of my discounted prepayment would be refunded to me. Love Vince and everyone at EMC. Their monitoring center is very professional. And their service call center is responsive as well. I needed a battery replaced and a zone bypassed and had no issues what-so-ever. Love EMC!

I have been a customer since 2012 in 2 different houses. The 1st house had a panel that had never been connected. EMC connected it and setup the panel. The 2nd house did not have a system so I had them install it. There alarm response has always been fast and when a lighting strike took out the panel, they replaced it at a great price. I have sinse put the alarm panel on battery backup with greater surge protection. I monitor it thru my cell phone - no problem with connectivity. I cannot think of anything negative to say about them. Keep up the good work.

I had a different local provider for 21 years. I paid them several times to come out and try to get the system to operate properly. They would never take the time to track down the sensors and join them into clearly marked zones. It's kind of important to know where you have trouble if the alarm goes off in the middle of the night.

EMC was very professional from the start. I had a good sales person come to my house and go over everything about their service. He told me they could and would fix the system. So I signed on with EMC.

A few days later a technician showed up (on time) and brought my system on line. He looked at the control panel and told me it would take most of a full day to repair it. He scheduled another appointment.

Once again the technician showed up on time. He spent most of a day tracking down every sensor in the house. He put them all into clearly marked zones.

We also found out the fire alarm was disconnected. WOW!

Would quickly recommend this alarm company to anyone! My wife and I wanted to kick our previous company to the curb for so long. They were so slow and it was always hard getting someone on the phone to answer what could have been a simple fix for a problem we had- absolute no service. When we heard of EMC Security we like that we wouldn't be under contract because we hated the fact that we had to wait for our contract to end with our old company, we hated having to pay them for terrible service. EMC Security has been superb on every level. We upgraded our system and our service with them and have been happy ever since. Our old company, we got the most simple basic service and paid somuch more. We pay EMC less and we get more than we did with the other co. How often does that happen?! Hope my experience with them is always this great.

My experience from beginning to end was excellent. Sales with Lori was quick and easy. The install technician, Parker, was awesome. He was knowledgeable, curious, patient and efficient. I highly recommend this Security company.

I have just recently acquired the security system with this company (emc) and was very much pleased with the entire process. The sales rep was very through and professional when going over the information about the system, also very efficient at returning my calls and going over any questions I had after he left from our appointment. The installation tech (both of them ) were just as efficient, fast, professional as you would want. I will recommend emc security to anyone that is looking to secure their home.

.... Sam returned my call this morning and was professional and addressed my concern... I thank the owner for his/her response and I am a fan now.... I was simply frustrated about not receiving a return phone call explaining the issue. In any event, EMC is sending a technician out today to fix my issue.....

I had a very good experience from speaking with the office staff, to sales staff to the installation staff. Willing to recommend them to family and friends.

The price per month is good as is the monitoring. The initial design and installation of products as well as service as the sale is pretty poor in my opinion. So, do your own homework and have it all designed before they get there. Watch the install closely too.

Their service is great, always on time. The cost of service is reasonably priced for the great service.

I ve used EMC for many years. Always pleased with the service. Response time after an alarm is activated has always been less than 30 seconds. If purchasing the equipment; it can be somewhat expensive.

I recently had a new EMC security monitoring system installed at my house. I was impressed with the professionalism of the technician sent to my home. He installed the components quickly and answered all my questions. I was very pleased with the service provided.

My system was malfunctioning for who knows how long and we were not notified. How we figured it out was the alarm went off by accident and no one called us from EMC central station. We called them and asked why no one called, then EMC realized there is a problem. They sent people to my house twice and so far the problem is still not resolved along with changes in our security username without even notifying us! The tech that came out the second time swore that the problem is fixed and tested it on an iPad swearing that yes central station is getting all the signals. They didn t even know the problem was not fixed until we tested it ourselves again later. We have been with EMC for over a decade and never had such a bad experience like this until now! Such disappointment!!!

The simplicity and efficiency of service was exactly what I expected. I have service with EMC Service at another location and the customer service and installation was exceptional. I would recommend EMC Security to anyone who is looking to have their property monitored. The installer arrived early and performed the installation professionally. He gave me a tutorial on the how to operate the key pad and request emergency services if needed. The security department schedules regular function checks on the system to make sure that it works when you need it. There are several options to upgrade the service from the basic monitoring if one so desires. Best of all, the cost of the protection is worth it.

I recently moved and EMC Security is part of my electric utility co-op, so I decided to add their alarm monitoring service to my existing alarm system. From the sales rep to the technicians and everyone in between, I have been more than pleased with this company and their services. I have not had any alarms go off yet, but I m sure that EMC Security will be just as good as they have been so far if they ever do!

We finally installed a system, after many years of procrastination, when our next dar neighbor was burglarized in broad daylight. EMC was our company of choice due the monthly monitoring cost and range of services provided. From the first call for an estimate to final installation the employees were friendly, courteous and professional! If you are considering a security system or changing your existing security provider I would suggest you contact EMC Security.

Last week I had called to stop my service at my old residence and start the service at my new home. I was told that a sales person would contact me as I had a hardwired system in the new home and that they might need to actually look at the property. It has been a week and I have not heard from the rep so I called back today. I left a message as the person who answered the phone, as much as she was nice, it seemed that she just wanted to pass me to the next person and that person was not available so I had to leave a message.

Their sales department isn t pushy and it was nice having one person to communicate with as I price hunted during our home buying process. We ended up going with them 3.5 weeks after our initial call because the home buying and moving process took over our lives. Once we placed our order, we received our system within 2 days and it was soo easy! Great service, great price and we can bundle it onto our electric service bill with Walton EMC. Really happy!

From the original wiring during the building process, advice for keypad placements for functionality, and the finally set up and teaching us how to use the system we had top quality service. I have been with EMC Security for over four years with monitoring for both fire and burglary. A year ago we had someone call us and say our system was offline and they were monitoring it and the next thing we knew a policeman was at our door because our system was sending an alarm to the police station. When the alarm was reset by EMC it sent the alarm to the police station and nothing to us....so, one false alarm for us, EMC s fault. Last night when we got back from vacation our EMC monitored smoke alarm was beeping in the hallway outside our bedroom....the other two smoke alarms we know how to change the batteries, but once we took this one down we had no idea where the batteries even went. Went online hoping for a You Tube video but nothing for our make and model. Called EMC, they state they available for maintenance 24 hours a day, and asked for somebody to call to let us know how to change the battery. They asked if it could wait until Monday morning and I stated no since the alarm was beeping right outside our bedroom door and we could not reset or remove the batteries plus I work Monday through Friday. They said they would have the on call maintenance person contact us. After four hours nobody had called so I called again and they said they would send a second message to the person. Two hours later I called and told them that I would be cancelling my service tomorrow morning. They have somebody on call 24 hours a day so if that person can t call me back how do I know they are monitoring my system if somebody breaks in? Also, at this point I have no idea if my monitored smoke detector is actually working or not...cheap service but how do you really know your system is being monitored until there is an emergency? Based on this weekends response to my service request I would say it is NOT.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! I ve been two months unknowingly without Alarm coverage. A tech called today to run some test and could not resolve the issue then said to send a technician out it would cost $75 but I could pay $89/yr for tech support . When I challenged this saying it s faulty equipment he said EMC just monitors it. I m confused here because what s the device they installed when the alarm system was setup? Also the first available date a technician could come would be 7/31. I asked for a supervisor and he s on vacation until next Thursday! Also the app sucks and has issues connecting. The app rarely works on WiFi. Think twice before getting this service unless you want to pay for a service you don t receive and then pay for tech support.

The technician took his time expertly installing the system. He then checked every sensor individually making sure all worked as they could. Took his time explaining how the system worked. Very professional. Thanks EMC.

I've had EMC Security for my home security for several years, and they have consistently done an excellent job.

I have the medical alert necklace and I love it. I recently had surgery and had a long recovery time. I also have a history of falls.
My family asked me about getting the medical alert and at first I was not real excited. Then when I listened to my family tell about it I realized if it would help them sleep at night and not worry about me then why not.
The set up was very simple and EMC has checked with me several times to make sure I was pleased with the system.
I highly recommend this product to anyone who has health issues, but wants to live independently. It is a special kind of security.

My husband and I called EMC due to our neighbor referral. We called wasn't sure if we wanted to sign up because we had other deals. Talked with a Sales Agent, she gave us the sales pitch we said ok. Excellent Install service, friendly & quick. Now comes the trouble, received an email to open my documents. Tried 5 times to create a password all checks are green, hit confirm button, unable to create password, tried again same response. Called office at 11am today to get help, was told Amanda handles sending documents she is on a call ,may she call you back, left my contact info. It is now 4:26pm, no response from Amanda. Is she still on that call or is she at lunch, doing her nails, texting, checking emails. Whatever it is she is too busy to call me back? That is not how you treat a customer after you have received my business. So much for good customer service & 1st impression. But I bet they will call me when they payment is past due.

Simple system set-up and operation with unassuming base station and touch screen key pad. We're finally getting the home and emotional security we wanted for some time.

Nothing, they came completely unprepared for what I wanted installed and I sent them on their way and went with another company.

We have been with EMC Security for almost 20 years. So when we moved and found out that EMC Security serviced where we moved to , we were so happy. They have the best customer service ever and when an alarm goes of they always respond in less than 2 minutes, usually faster. Whether on the phone with customer service or in person with a tech, the EMC staff is the best. I would trust no one else with our home security!

This is the worst company please stay away. My alarm been off for 24 hours Everytime I called they said a technician will call me back in 15 minutes. 24 hours later no call.. Shame

I am pleased with the monitoring svc thus far. The calling card for the business IMO is the 16.95$(5$ extra remote access) NO CONTRACT service they provide. I m no rocket scientist but if I m billed for 3 months in advance then I m essentially in quarterly contracts. My mistake was quickly signing documents on the tech s iPad and not reading. It s there! However, he was certain to point out on the very same form I signed, the total cost of 21.95$p mo. and NO CONTRACT! Techs should do a better job of explaining the full terms of the service.

Amazing service -- AGAIN!

Our theater projector bulb burned out. I received quotes about changing the entire projector from about &850.00 up to almost $27,000.00 So I decided to call EMC security to see if they could "repair " the projector and get it working again.
Lo and behold, Mr. Raia, the manager at the above office called back to say they may be able to get someone to come by take care of minor adjustments and get the model number of the projector.
EMC called back within one week. had it replaced within one hour. The SSS savings were amazing. Call EMC first before spending a bunch of $$$$. If they cannot do it, they will at least give you the name of the company they are aware of who will get the job done. Thank you Vince for the excel work. Your employees always come through. I am sure you are very proud of them. Keep up the good work.

Rocky start as I wanted door bell camera and out door camera.My internet was just not reaching them . EMC made three tries to get them working but couldn't. They did not hesitate to refund the money, they respond each time I requested service immediately. Best customer service I have ever worked with. I have the house security with EMC and I am totally satisfied.

I compared EMC with four other noteworthy companies. EMC excelled at every comparative criteria: pricing, technical knowledge, system design, customer service. I am very happy with my new system and EMC's low monitering rate, as well as no contractual period.

Be respectful towards your customers. It is a simple concept. I'm paying you, so when I call in or stop by I do not expect to be treated as a burden. I'm not sure if this is an individual issue, or if it starts from the top, but it should be addressed.

Return phone calls are prompt & courteous. They were able to answer all the questions we asked. The technician was also on time & very gracious. He explained how everything worked & made sure we were comfortable & confident with the system before he left. Would highly recommend this company, and have already done so!

EMC does a Great job!
Had them activate my old system and less than a month later, had them upgrade keypads and control unit. A much simpler and more informative system to use.

Years ago, In our first home we purchased years ago came with an alarm system. We were happy to have one, but the company that serviced it was horrible, and had a lengthy fight just to get out from under their contract. So we have always been hesitant to go down that path again.
But, we purchased a new home a few months back and decided to look into get one again. We always have heard good things about EMC Security and fave them a shot. Everyone we have worked with from the receptionist, to the warehouse/parts department, up to The president Vince Raia, was fantastic to deal with. They were very flexible with scheduling and had our new system installed in one day.( ** it is a new home that had most of the pre-wiring done) Eli was our installer, and did a great job. On top of all that, EMC prices very fairly for their monitoring and there is no contact. We have found our company for our security needs and recommend them highly!

Beware when you disconnect!! Great Service, Great People. I have used EMC for last two years and was really happy with them. I switched my phone service to VOip 3-4 months back and was not aware that the monitoring had stopped until one day the alarm went off and we did not get a call. However, I found a cheaper wireless option with a reputable local company so i moved there. When i cancelled my service, the cancellation was done efficiently and since they charge three payments in advance I was suppose to get a refund. After a month of cancellation when i did not see any refund from them, i called them and they said you have not requested a refund. Does that mean if i had not called they would just eat my additional funds???? and never pay me back for the services not provided. I was not really happy with the answer I got for this request and the ethical standards of this company. So beware when you cancel.
