We found EMC Security through a friend after complaining about the fluctuating rates of a National alarm company. EMC s rates are very competitive and the fact we didn t have to sign a contract was nice! It s nice to have a choice in billing style and feel like they truly do want to always compete for our business. To be able to feel secure and support a local business on top of it all makes us happy! The app is great and easy to use! Been very happy so far!

We have been customers for over 10 years and sadly have watched the quality of customer service continually degrade. While we are happy with the monitoring of the system, we have become increasingly unhappy with the customer service that is provided. We have had 2 episodes in the past 6 months that were absolutely unacceptable. One example required that I personally pick up a power supply at the customer service office about 15 miles away and install it myself (the system was out of commission during off-hours and would have resulted in a $100 special charge). The most recent experience resulted with the customer service person telling me they couldn't help me and hanging up on me. We will be switching providers.

I was interested to install EMC security system for my house and I talked to one of the customer rep Nataile. She told me about the pricing and I told her I will get back with her after I shopped around. I decided to go with EMC and I called back the next day and left a voice message and didn t respond. After that I called her 3 times and no response from her or from the company. I m very disappointed with the way you deal with your customer. I m glad I didn t go with you cause this shows you guys don t care about your customers.

We have been very pleased with our EMC Security system. From the sales associate to the installation everyone was very pleasant and did an awesome job.

I have been a customer of EMC for about 6 months and I've been very happy with their installation, service, and monitoring. I would definitely recommend them.

Omg, technical support. This is the second system Ive had installed and I havent been with emc a year. Ive had two false alarms where I gave my password to the person who called and they still sent the police.... I called emc and the girl I talked to thought it was funny. The second time the system bumped and sent an alarm... The police came again. Im glad the police are so vigilant but I was sent a letter from the police for the first and awaiting the second which has a twenty five dollar fine for false alarms. I get back from vacation and my system wont arm. I call tech support.... He called angry and huffy. Are you kidding me???

I love the EMC Security have since day one. Couldn,t ask for a better one I am very please with there service.

We've been with EMC for years and the service has always been consistent and the prices fair. If you're looking for a security company that doesn't nickel and dime you and offers superior service. This is your company!

I am very happy with my alarm system. I would like to say thank you to Mr. Scott, for coming into my home, and answering all questions and concerns about my alarm system. EMC customer service was very courteous and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone who is in need of a security system.

Advertises that they do not require a contact but it turns out they require almost 15 pages of contracts requiring multiple signatures. If these documents are not contracts, what are they?

Knowledgeable salesperson and installation technician; prompt and considerate response personnel (when I forgot to deactivate the alarm several times); courteous and helpful customer service when I had questions about the alarm system operation; low monthly costs.

The technician who got our system all up and running was very prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. I could tell he really likes helping his customers and enjoys his job We accidentally set our alarm off and all the steps they told us to expect to happen did so in a very quick, timely manner. We were pleasantly surprised how affordable our monthly security system would be. Peace of mind is important to us and we are thankful EMC Security gives us that PEACE

EMC Security did an excellent job installing our security system. The installer was very knowledgeable and courteous and took the time to explain the system to me and answer any and all questions I had. I highly recommend EMC Security.

Everyone is very helpful and very easy to talk to. Rates seem to be very good and not constantly going up. We are very well pleased with this company.

During the visit with the sales consultant the relocation of a motion sensor was discussed in detail and I made it clear that I did not need it moved. The communication from the sales consultant was unclear throughout the entire process and I ended up paying significantly more for the install than what was expected. Additionally, I now have holes in a freshly painted wall and the company will not return calls or emails. Perhaps a negative review will prompt a response. Without a resolution I cannot recommend this company.

This security system is great and cost effective. EMC Security has very good response time and everyone has been professional and helpful.

We did a lot of research on security companies and EMC has the best customer service and technicians. The response time is great. We highly recommend them !

Really reliable system. Call with in seconds of a door opening. Very friendly. What I need to know is do you have surveillance video equipment and do you install.

Very satisfied with the service (I have had a couple of false alarms and their response was immediate. Also very happy with the fee for this service. Would not hesitate referring this service to friends and family. In fact my daughter referred them to me.

We were new to the security system world and the staff at the office and the technician who hooked up the system were fantastic. Very thorough and careful and patient! The system is very easy to use and the location of the control box is very convenient. So easy that I haven't accidentally set it off! (Knock on wood!)

I am from Chicago looking for a job and I call asking specific questions and who ever picked up answering with a very nasty attitude and her answers to my questions were I don't know.. They need someone knowledgeable of the company to answer the phone and answer questions.

The technician was great very patient and explained it all. The young lady to setup appointment to install was awesome. I am happy with the service from EMC.

We have had no problems with our security. " Mistakes" on our part have been handled quickly by the company. We are very comfortable with our system.

I m a former employee of EMC Security for years and being paying for workers compensation all these years and got injured and tried to make a claim and come to find out that there wasn t any plan in placed........I m just curious to see if anyone else has experience this treatment or experience with this company?

I appreciated the fact that the sales rep did not try to oversell a solution. He was extremely knowledgeable, explained the options and the ease of self service installation, which saved us $100s of dollars up front. We used EMC at our previous home and were very satisfied with pricing and service.

Zero pressure for add-ons or upgrades, EMC representatives provided simple, concise solutions at extremely competitive pricing. We are very please with EMC Security!

EMC provided a no cost install with the best value for security service. All my interactions from sales to billing have been great also. You should switch as I did for no contract service.

Equipment is not really DIY for installation. Customer service hard to reach. The whole experience was regrettable and I wish I had just paid the extra money and gone with someone like ADT. I spent over $500 on equipment and there were plenty out there that offered no charge for the equipment. If I could go back in time I never would have done this through EMC. Now that it is all in I am stuck with it because of course they have a clause that if you are not satisfied you can return but they are not responsible for any of the touch up or damage or repairs that would need to be done from installing there equipment. Save yourself a great deal of stress and shop on.

Update: Everything is working properly and no further issues. Still do not recommend DIY install.

Lori was amazing! She walked me through everything. She answered all of my questions. She was very helpful. Mike who installed my equipment was great as well.

Installation was quick & he knew what he was doing. He was very patient with us non-technical people.

Incredible customer service from start to finish. Thanks to Richard Momon and our installer Steven we feel even safer in our new home.

We switched to EMC security several years ago and I have been nothing but happy with the experience. First, they were half the price of our previous monitoring system. Second, if our alarm activates they have always been prompt in responding. Thankfully, so far it has been false alarms. They even called me once to advise me they were getting a low battery signal. Excellent service.

Pete and Scott where are the technicians we recently worked with in the installation of our EMC Security System. They were very knowledgeable, patient and informative throughout the process. We feel very safe and satisfied with the product.

Simple install, Peace of Mind knowing our home monitored securely.

The simplicity is what got me. Nominal fee, basic coverage, alerts that work without wondering if someone is going to hack into my system and spy on my family. The gentleman who came and installed the system was extremely patient and helpful. A few days later when I forgot how to do something customer service not only walked me through the process, but snail mailed me literature too. Any issue I've had has been quickly and friendly remedied. I'm extremely happy with my service.

I've been a customer for years. Everything they have done has been on time, as promised, and priced fairly. They now monitor my home and my new office and I'm looking forward to adding the cameras to the system. Keep up the good work!

I love my up grade! The customer service is one of the friendliest people. They answered all of my questions. They were patient with me.

So far so good. We've been using the system for a little over a month. I installed it myself and was able to purchase additional hardware as needed. We really like the price, the no contract, and the control the app gives us. The display is not gaudy in the house, which is something my wife likes.

We went to this company after our former security company was bought out by another and raised its price again. We were paying 36-38 with these other companies and had a two year contract. We had gas and electric with Walton EMC, so we thought we would give them a try. We were able to use our existing system except for the code box. They charged us the promised $16.95 monthly with no contract. They did not charge extra for carbon monoxide or fire which the others did. It only went off once by accident when I opened a door; had an immediate response. Pleased with the installation over my old system and the service (they coded things exactly how I wanted them).

EMC offers get service at a great price. Response time is great when the alarm sounds. Makes me feel safe to know I have them watching my back. The technician that came to my house was very knowledgeable and polite, made me feel comfortable while he was there.

I have been the proud owner of an EMC Security Alarm System in two locations on my property for well over a year. I have found them to be very reasonable, and response time on alarm activation is super fast. Speaking with customer service has always been enjoyable and helpful. I had another well know provider for years and was paying quite a bit more for monitoring. I highly recommend EMC Security and will continue to use. Oh, if you have electric and gas service also, the monitoring is simply added to the main electric bill. I really, really like that service.
