Stayed here during gen con with a few other people. Beds were comfy, clean. The morning continental breakfast was well stocked with different options including made to order omelets. Staff was also courteous, and the walk to the convention center was just the right distance before it became annoying.

The room was not ready (2 hours past check-in) nor clean. The pool was cloudy with a greenish tint. There were no washcloths. The breakfast was just ok. Not much in the way of variety. The scrambled eggs were watery and slightly rubbery. The man helping with bags was very nice as were the women in the eating area at happy hour and breakfast. I have had better experiences at other locations. The location of this hotel is convenient to downtown restaurants and events.

Good location downtown and recently renovated. Quite challenging to find the entrance as the.main entrance is sort of behind the building (sort of in the center of the block) with an alley leading in. Ok once you've found it.

Staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us! The open free bar and food was great! Only thing I would complain about would be the a.c. it wasnt very cool in our room and they lock the thermostat. They brought us a fan which was great! Close to EVERYTHING!

The rooms are clean and fresh. However, if they re at full capacity they can t manage to get the rooms cleaned until late afternoon amounting to poor staffing by management. We had to ask for clean towels at 3pm in order to get ready for dinner. We passed on a light cleaning. They also don t provide enough tea etc in the rooms.

A MAJOR issue is the AC unit. It goes off and on ALL through the night and is EXTREMELY noisy makes for a very disruptive sleep. Shame I can t post a video

So I give it 3 stars. You can t charge TOP prices with sub standard amenities

This location is our go to spot for any time we are in Indy. We usually love everything about it. This time we were less than pleased. My husband was recently in a bad accident and we had to cancel our regular vacation so we decided to do a short getaway with the kids. We splurged and go the big 2 floor room. We were told we would have a balcony (we did not), we were told we could get a roll away (we didn't), we were supposed to have a hot tub (NOPE) and most upsetting...our room had been used and unclean when we arrived. Dirty towels and used soap on the counter and floor as well as used toilet paper in the trash can. There was a huge stain on the tiled floor as well. Also, if someone was watching TV downstairs no one could watch TV upstairs bc there is no separation of the floors. Took the kids swimming and rain from outside was pouring into the indoor pool. Oh and the TV and internet kept going out all weekend. I called and spoke with the staff about my complaints. I was assured they would discount my bill. Charges come through my bank statement and I was actually charged $1 more than the orginal quoted price.

Ok..well..good location but worst set up. When you pull up in your car there is no one to greet you. I think, ok it's an embassy suites, no biggy. But then the escalator is broken so you have to drag your luggage up 4 flights of stairs (two flights for front door then 2 more to reception desk.) NO HELP WHATSOEVER. I then had to park the car in a weird and inconvenient spot in a non owned downtown parking garage. I had to get my ticket validated lmao. It took me a out 10 min to get back to the hotel room after parking. Sadly these are issue they can help, but not truly resolve. I thought I was staying in a nice "downtown" hotel with normal downtown accommodations, but I was wrong. Other than that, the rooms are nice and clean and the staff is pretty friendly. Next time I'll spend the extra 29.99 to stay at the "real" Hilton.

Way too overpriced for the quality and service. Room was unsatisfactory on cleanliness and parking is a joke. First parking was free, then found out upon checking in it costs $30 a night. Then when you use the parking garage theres no directions to the hotel, used 4 different floors to find a sign on the 3 floor saying the hotel was across the garage. Then the guy at the front desk was unsure and unable to figure out why the hotel does not have any directions in the parking garage to the hotel. Plus the room had a bad smell in it and had dirty walls. Dont think I'll go back ever again for that price.

Rooms are somewhat dated. The walls are super thin. Pull out mattress is as thin as the walls. They seem to have the need to play music down in the lobby at high volume through the entire night that you can hear 15 stories up. If I could give 0/10 I would. Will never stay here again. I highly suggest staying at a different hotel.

The beds were so comfy, and the TV had a lot of channels. Very good selection of TV channels to watch! The breakfast tasted great, especially the chocolate chip pancakes I requested. The air conditioner was a little loud, not too bad. I stayed on floor 17, and the lady at front desk was very nice! She even said she likes anime! What a nice woman! I gave everyone a big smile. You should stay here if you come to visit Indianapolis, Indiana!

Was worried when I saw the hotel going through a remodel, but I have been happy with our room and services. Breakfast was very good. The room is spacious and comfortable. A tad cool, but there are signs up about the havc system and the remodel. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel is under construction. It is very loud and untidy. Breakfast is good and managers reception is okay in the evening.Rooms are okay, but the shower did not work and staff unable to fix it. Elevators constantly out of order and many people waiting for the one or two that were working. Could not use one side of elevators to get to my floor due to construction. I attempted to use the stairwell and the doors were locked at some floors. I would not choose to stay here again.

I recently stayed there. Due a physical disability, I use a Walker. When I walked into the hotel, I found that a bank of escalators which takes you to the main lobby. There was no elevator to take you to the lobby. They had an "ADA lift " which took you to the lobby. This could barely fit one person. I was also told that I could use the service elevator. The service elevator? This elevator was slow, dirty and smelled. I felt as if I was treated the same as African Americans in the Jim Crow South. If you are disabled DO NOT STAY HERE.

This hotel is not worthy of being a Hilton branded hotel in my opinion. The room was filthy and very old; there were sunflower seeds all over the couch when I arrived on the first day and general cleanliness in the room was lacking. There was a musty smell in the room as well (ventilation problems). The breakfast buffet was subpar; the bacon was not good (how hard is it to make bacon??) and the sausage had hard pieces in it (crushed bones?!?). In any case, the hotel management obviously has low standards. The staff was quite friendly but I will be avoiding this hotel in the future.

On the plus side the hotel is in a location close yo local sights and restaurants, has large rooms, and a restaurant inside. As for negatives, no valet parking and expensive self parking, entrance is hard to find and there was a tampon in my toilet when I arrived.

This is definitely not an easy review to write. While I did overall enjoy my stay at the downtown Indianapolis Embassy Suites, there were some parts that will keep me from returning. Service at the desk, was okay. Daytime staff was very helpful and kind, evening desk staff were kinda of rude and did so with out apologies. Cleanliness, was average, other than the peeling paint on the ceiling of bathroom and puddles of condensation on the window sills. Rooms were of modern decor, which includes sliding barn doors on the bathroom and bedroom. So if you walk by the bathroom you can easily see in to bathroom. They only offer king or double full beds, for the price per night I would prefer double queens or a queen/ full combo. The bed size alone will keep me from returning. (Family of 5) The breakfast and managers reception are held in an area that causes long lines with no real flo through the tables to access them. Tamara the weekend bartender will brighten your evening for sure! They have removed the Hot tub area, so the smaller pool is usually pretty full, for as large as the hotel is, with no second area.

Access to the city through almost all indoor skywalks was wonderful. They park and stay room option was only a $9.00 room upgrade booking online or $28.00 a day to pay on your arrival. So we had no additional parking to pay for our destinations.

My only other reason to not return was the loudness of the traffic outside all night long. They really need to upgrade the windows and or seals. We were on the 13th floor and woke to sirens in the middle of the night, which sounded like they were 10ft away. So really positives and negatives.

Unbelievable noise from lobby throughout hotel late at night due to raucous crowd. Hotel has central lobby layout w all floors and all rooms overlooking. Way too noisy! Will not choose this place again. Additionally they ran out of everything at appetizer buffet. It's not like they don't know how many guests they have. Room had HVAC that did not activate until temp was below 30 or above 50 out. We asked and were told maintenance would come to override that. They never showed up.
Very surprised as Embassy is usually a very good experience.

The housekeeping for our room was mediocre at best. The breakfast staff were very nice and attentive, but the food made my family sick. My 4 year old daughter threw up within 2 hours of eating it. My fiance and I had diarrhea for the rest of the day. We're pretty sure we won't be back. Thank you for killing our stomachs.

This was a good hotel but it is in serious need of an update. The rooms feel old and tired. That said, the hotel provides a nice service with a very good included breakfast and evening reception. The workout room was sufficient. The hotel does have an entry ramp off the street that is easy to miss unless you're looking for it. Overall, the hotel was perfectly fine for a two day business trip. Major renovation/updating needed.

Despite the fact that the hotel is under construction it still a very comfortable stay. Room is in good shape and very clean. Breakfast is very good, as I typically expect from embassy suites, and the evening manager's reception was also very good. The only real issue I have is the hotel itself, outside the room, was quite warm.ans humid. I would likely stay here again if in town.

Stayed at hotel during Indiana State Wrestling tourney. Very busy. Staff was excellent but between the facilities being torn up for renovations and "thousands" of kids running around it was my least positive of all my Embassy Suite stays around the country.

Honestly the location is great but for the price I expect a little bit better maintenance. In the bathroom the toilet paper roll had clearly been ripped out of the wall multiple times and instead of patching it they just moved it over a bit and sunk in new anchors leaving the old holes and the plumbing for the shower head was not secured. Little details like that I can overlook for a cheap motel, but when I am spending hundreds of dollars a night, my standards go up.

I stayed here for several nights for a convention....

I stayed here for several nights for a convention. The parking was reasonably priced for downtown overnight, and the hotel included breakfast. Overall, the room wasn't bad, but I can see why they're undergoing major renovations because we stayed in a room that hadn't been remodeled yet. The pull out bed was so uncomfortable that our third guest opted to sleep on the couch instead. The refrigerator froze everything that wasn't on the middle shelf or in the door, and a couple of the outlets didn't work. Warm showers periodically turned cold for 20-30 seconds before turning warm again, which is a weird problem to have in a hotel. The bed was really comfortable though, and the room was dated but clean. Also, as long as you don't have anyone sleeping on the pull out bed, you shouldn't have to worry about noise. We had a room right in front of the elevators, and with the door to the bedroom closed I couldn't hear a thing at night. The one thing I hated: floor numbers. The top floor is 20, but the next floor down is 17. There are no floors 18 and 19. I can't tell you how much that bothered me once I noticed. But that's my biggest complaint, so I would definitely stay here again, especially once the renovations are done in December.

Not too impressed. I've stayed at better Embassys before. This one is a bit outdated. Careful with the parking option. Don't take the hotel's parking for $28 per day because the pay it yourself is cheaper.

Long wait for elevators. Construction all hotel. Had to take 3 elevators (parking garage, freight, and then main hotel) to get luggage and son in a stroller to our room. Peeling ceiling paint in otherwise clean, updated room. Pool area was a mess with no towels available. Trash cans in room hadn't been emptied from previous guests. Will not be staying again.

We've been to many cookie-cutter hotels, but this one seems particularly well run. Also, while the staff were courteous and friendly, they also seemed happy. And that was infectious. Reception and breakfast were very good. Perfect location.

I arrived a little after 5:00 PM. Apparently, there was some sort of special event going on as there were a lot of police officers downtown, and I could not use my Hilton Honors points to pay for the room. The attached parking garage was marked as being full except for hotel guests. I entered the garage and found it was under construction with lots of narrow passageways. I went up ten floors and back down ten floors. There were no available spaces, anywhere, even for hotel guests. I exited the parking garage and the attendant told me there was no available valet service, I would have to pay $4 for the privilege of not parking in the garage, and could not leave until I paid the $4. The $4 fee is apparently for parking, which I was not successful in doing. I believe that charging money to someone for entering a parking garage when there are no spaces available borders on the criminal.

I then called the hotel and asked where I should park. I was directed to the garage for the Circle Center Mall, about a block away. After finding my bearings and avoiding the homeless people downtown, I walked through the rain to the hotel and climbed the stairs to the entrance with my luggage (the entrance is hidden and not very pedestrian friendly).

Upon checking in, the desk clerk asked whether I was parking a vehicle with the hotel. At this point, I told her I had paid $4 to not park my vehicle with the hotel because their garage is full, and I was disappointed that they let anyone (not just hotel guests) park in their garage. Her story completely changed and she told me the hotel does not own the parking garage and has no control over it. Very hypocritical to treat the parking deck as belonging to the hotel until there is a problem.

The manager s reception was mediocre yes, you get free booze, but they ran out of the mix for the featured cocktail. They also ran out of potato chips! The snacks provided were carrots, celery, broccoli, ranch dressing, crackers, salsa, potato chips, and popcorn. At other Embassy Suites locations, I have had things like hot queso and chips.

The rooms are very noisy thanks to the open atrium design. I think they have added ceiling fans in the bedrooms to attempt to drown out the noise. This is like putting lipstick on a pig. If you are in the suite part of the room and close the door, you will probably be fine. If you are sleeping on the fold-out couch in the living room area, bring your earplugs, as the noise is deafening!

The desk and rolling chair in my room were extremely worn, and the toilet flush handle was loose. Someone s hair was on the temperature control for the shower, and the shower turned cold for no reason while I was using it. When I turned it up, it became warm for a few minutes, then became scalding hot. This hotel is probably due for a makeover, but given my experience, I don t think I d stay there even if it were made over.

One plus, the wifi does not appear to be capped to 1-2 megabits per user, as I have experienced in other hotels.

When I checked out, nobody asked how my stay was, otherwise I would have brought up the parking issue again.

I visited on a work trip. Place is overall fairly nice. They seem to have rennovated the rooms a few years ago, but the building is showing some age. The parking structure is very small and hard to drive around. Parking is also a little expensive at $28 a night. Otherwise had a good stay.

The hotel is currently under going construction. Even with that, the place was clean and everyone was friendly. Our room was amazing. The complimentary breakfast was great, better than I expected! The only downside was that the parking garage is very claustrophobic. The turns are very tight. Overall, great experience
