This nonprofit organization is terrible!!

This nonprofit organization is terrible!!
They make it too hard for business owners to
Make a profit , this makes it impossible for new
Venderized homes to open,
they now only allow 4 consumers
Per vendered home there are no, No, 4 i beds available anywhere in California.
I have been looking for years I did find one my
Self they happen to be grandfathered in and have 6
Beds and they just had a opening happen when a
Client went to jail.
I new a person who works in this home,
I beg the administrator to take the now Adult.
It ridiculous. They also over qualify Venders.
BA or BS 2080 intern in the level of care home
bla Bla Bla
They can not help you if you need a emergency
Placement for a 4i woman adult.
They try their best to passify you and you know they
Have nothing available not even emergency.
The only thing you can do and I have had
Other home and administrators say they have done this,
take them to the ER and tell them they are a danger to them selfs and others.
Then leave ........
Alta Regionals needs to get a clue
People need placement and there isn t any.

I have nothing but good things to say about Alta Regional. They are a m a z i n g! There is a bit of a wait for intake and evaluation, but it's worth it. Monica Silva evaluated my son, she was so welcoming, sweet and thorough! It's been an exhausting 2 years for me of evaluations, endless doctor's appointments and a lack of answers/help for my son and she was a breath of fresh air. So easy to talk to and actually heard my concerns! We walked out of there with answers - FINALLY. Given a diagnosis the same day as the evaluation. Hands down, Alta is one of the best resources for those with intellectual/developmental disabilities in the state of California.

Staff at the Sacramento office leaves a bad taste in your mouth nearly never in the office always on vacation always something happening that they re not in there doing their job and then become indignant when they are questioned ... how very sad
It s my understanding that they are there to help the community not discourage them ..
