What a fantastic Olde church this is .. So much history, it's unbelievable.. The stained glass is not to be missed ..
I will be back , too much to take in at any one time ..

FIVE STARS!!!! Literally you'll have to struggle to discover this gem. You'll hardly find somebody in it and that makes it so beautiful. Huge vitros could be the best you've ever seen (if you haven't visit Sainte Chapelle (yet))

As an American visiting London for a week, I was blessed to find this church. It's 13th century gem with a Sunday Mass at 11 am, sung in Latin. It was absolutely beautiful, and was expertly sung in glory to God! Also, the pastor had a wonderful and relevant homily.

There is a great selection of home guides on many things, as well as history on the church. Hard to find, though! Cool about London is buildings 800 years old rubbing shoulders with structures built a few years ago, but sometimes makes the ancient ones hard to find! Lol. God Bless!

Most beautiful church I have seen. King Henry the 8th was married there so it is full of history.

Beautifully kept, quaint, quiet in the middle of London a must visit

Old building contained in a group of buildings more modern, a little difficult to find but it has beautiful stained glass, and he has an active confessional

The place is very quite and warm. It has a 1:00pm mass during the weekdays which is good for working faithful Catholics. The entrance is not that noticeable as it is facing parallel with the road, new to the place won t find it easily but just looked to the left and you will find the small door which lead to narrow hallway. Very solemn place of worship.

This is my parish church and it's absolutely beautiful. There's Latin Mass on Sundays at 11.00 a.m. supported by a professional choir. There's a Latin mass every First Friday at 6.00 p.m.

This was a moment of complete bliss. The place was so quite that you have to think of about your existence.

Enchanting place that more people should know about. Stellar choir and sound doctrine. I only wish they did more outreach with the businesses in the area.

Beautiful medieval church. So peaceful, and rich in history.

A beautiful gem that more people should know about. It's a very old church, once part of the Palace of the Bishops of Ely. Lots of history associated with the building, and also has one of the largest and best modern glass windows in London telling the story of the Charterhouse martyrs. If you go also visit the crypt. Close to Bleeding Heart Yard.

Interesting place to discover in April 2019 on a London Walks tour. It has a long history in a corner of Lobdon.

Beautiful old Catholic Church with impressive stained glass

An intriguing place nestled in the midst of modern high rise development, this faith & community building is steeped in history with access via a small side alley.

Very historic Catholic church. The building dates from before the Reformation, and was originally the chapel of the London residence of the Bishops of Ely. It was returned to Catholicism in the 19th Century.

Beautiful church and I loved reading about it's history while we waited for the wedding to start. It will always have a special place in my memories.

I haven't yet attended a service here. I'll update ad soon as I do. In the meantime this is a beautiful church. It may take some time finding it but the effort is amply rewarded. Minutes away groom the most of holborn out I'd beautiful quiet inside with an amazing stained glass window. Spending just ten minutes here improves one day enormously.

A little gem indeed: the architecture, the history, the windows (on a sunny day the choir windows are mesmerising! Look out for the angels quite unusual) And the service too is top quality either weekdays or Sunday.
