My husband and I had our anniversary dinner here. It was great! We started with Spinach Artichoke Dip with chips. For my entree I had pork chops in maple cream sauce with sweet potato fries and mixed veggies. The sauce was very sweet, but it was tasty and perfectly cooked. My husband had the blackened steak and said it was wonderful. He also enjoyed both beers recommended by the waitress. This wasn't our first here, just first of fancy entrees! We will definitely go back again.

The place has surprisingly reasonable prices on their menu. The food was good but the portion sizes were "French" style, if you know what I mean. I had three young kids with me and they all finished their food. I will send my friends to this place as our favorite restaurant has closed permanently.

It s a shame that the woman behind the bar who was identified to me only as the owners daughter, has such an abhorrent attitude. I was there for over an hour and finishing my third drink (and an entree), when she had the waitress inform me that I would not be allowed to order a fourth. When I went to the bar to ask her why this was the case (I have been going to this restaurant/pub for over a year and never had this issue before), she immediately began baiting me and attempting to provoke me to anger. I just calmly repeated that I was not arguing with her I just wanted to talk to the manager. She then had the gall to tell me that if I was going to keep arguing with her she was going to have me thrown out of her bar, HER bar? When I finally did speak to the manager she was sweet and respectful, but had to stand behind her staff. That s reasonable, and I can t fault her for it. Unfortunately for Elm city, I will never again give them a dollar of my business, because while the manager certainly does have to look out for their employees, if the owners daughter is going to cut people off because she doesn t like the looks of them, and then try and get in their face, that is not an establishment I want having a penny of my hard-earned dollars. All it takes is one worthless employee to lose a customer for life.

Awesome. One of the best places to eat in Keene. Good clean food exceptional service and the best beer in town. Highly recommend a peachy Keene with your meal. I have never left the Brew house unhappy.

Never had anything less than a quite pleasant experience here. The food is good, priced fairly, and proportions are generous. The service has always been friendly and accommodating... occasionally a little slow, but nothing unreasonable. Clean and casual, but doesn't feel "cheap". Hopefully the construction in the parking lot is finished soon, as I feel some may not realize that restaurant is still open and accessible.

The food is always freshly made and it's different from all the other places in Keene. The atmosphere is light and open, staff is friendly. I really enjoy their own brewed beer as well.

GREAT place for a beer and snack! Can't wait to try more beers and food here. Love the old mill building. Staff was great. We had the Old Man Porter, calamari and spinach/artichoke dip. All 3 were amazing. Looking forward to going back!

We went to the restaurant on a Friday night. It was busy inside and for outside seating as well. We didn't have to wait which was nice and the hostess was friendly and attentive. We got our drinks right away and then we waited for a bit to place our orders. The food arrived after awhile and it was good. The mussels appetizer was a great portion and tasted good. I would have liked it hotter. I also ordered a large spinach salad which was undersized, in my opinion. The ingredients were delicious though. The server kept our drinks filled and checked up on us.
I would have loved to give them a 5 star but a few minor things kept me from doing that.

This is a great family place to go for dinner. Even if you have kids they have games nd stuff for them to do and a great menu for them. The food is excellent. The staff even when busy are great. The prices are good and affordable. If enjoy wine and beer they have a great and wide selection.

Called ahead the host said 20 minutes waited over a hour finally left they kept seating people saying the only have a few tables for bigger parties we had 7 they could have pushed tables together No one acknowledged us not even the manager. Poor way to run a business

Food was great! Particularly the seafood bisque...just the perfect amount of Sherry! Great atmosphere and service. The only reason I didn't rate a 5 it was a wait to be seated...other than that Fantastic experience.

Food was great, service was quick, and beer was delicious. Highly recommend especially if you are with people with dietary restrictions like vegetarian or gluten free, they have great options for both. Get the spinach and herb cheese sandwich and make sure to add their house made smoked salmon it was amazing!

I like the beers and I've had fairly good service. I decided to try the appetizer (Saturday around 4PM) The onion rings were greasy, burned and tasteless. Then an employee was taking a dinner break next to me and I couldn't help but hear her phone drama about her late night adventures. I hope it was an isolated experience.

The food here was good. Basic bar food, but tasty. Unfortunately, our experience started off on a bad foot. We had to wait for a table, so we went to the bar for a beer. All on premise beer, so we asked the bartender for a beer menu. He pointed us to the blackboard, shown in the photo. Ok, so what's a Blurred Lines? Krystal Ball? Not very helpful, nor was he. Lo and behold, when we were seated for dinner, on the table was a beer menu, describing their beers, just what we had asked for.

We were traveling north from CT looking for a place to grab dinner and stumbled upon this gem this past Thursday September 17th. The previous reviews were a little discouraging at first but we decided to give it a shot on our own accord. More

Food is usually good. Appetizers, wings and craft beer are always excellent. Steaks are not usually good and usually the sizes and cuts are confused and cooked incorrectly. Service ranges from good to awful with one of the worst front of the house managed restaurants. Overall not bad but you never know what to expect.

Pretty good (though not exceptional) beer. My favorite was the "Open Saison" - brewed with peppercorns! Recommended, for those wanting to try something different. Classic pub menu and atmosphere. Gluten free bun options.

The food was excellent and the service was off the charts. Our server (Carolyn) was very supportive of the entire company. Telling us about all the homemade items including deserts and dressings etc. Also she brought a to go container as well as as plastic bag because the item was messy and could easily leak on our car seat. We have never had a server do that.....ever. she was excellent. Also a great ambassador for the company .
