It s a shame that the woman behind the bar who was identified to me only as the owners daughter, has such an abhorrent attitude. I was there for over an hour and finishing my third drink (and an entree), when she had the waitress inform me that I would not be allowed to order a fourth. When I went to the bar to ask her why this was the case (I have been going to this restaurant/pub for over a year and never had this issue before), she immediately began baiting me and attempting to provoke me to anger. I just calmly repeated that I was not arguing with her I just wanted to talk to the manager. She then had the gall to tell me that if I was going to keep arguing with her she was going to have me thrown out of her bar, HER bar? When I finally did speak to the manager she was sweet and respectful, but had to stand behind her staff. That s reasonable, and I can t fault her for it. Unfortunately for Elm city, I will never again give them a dollar of my business, because while the manager certainly does have to look out for their employees, if the owners daughter is going to cut people off because she doesn t like the looks of them, and then try and get in their face, that is not an establishment I want having a penny of my hard-earned dollars. All it takes is one worthless employee to lose a customer for life.
