False advertisement! Bought a gift card for a nights stay and then was told at booking to use it there was a 2 night minimum. Only spoke to 1 professional person who worked it out. Wasn't pleased with all the rules they require when you do stay. Don't waste your time and stay elsewhere.

Stayed in a cabin o er Christmas. It was beautiful! Christmas lights adorned multiple cabins and also some lone trees were decorated throughout the forest. The cabin was well stocked for our cooking needs and sleeping needs. The staff was very friendly and made sure to over stock necessary items on the days that no staff would be present. I will definitely stay again.

The Resort is everything you want it to be in the midst of winter, when I stayed here in February 2017. Our Cabin was wonderful from the wood burning fireplace, the views of Priest Lake and the mountains, and everything was VERY clean and comfortable!! The Lodge was wonderful as well. The lodge and the grounds of the resort are kept so well. You MUST try the Huckleberry Pancakes...they are amazing! All of our food was so tasty and the wait staff were just great! Then there is the adventure that awaits out on and around Priest Lake. Priest Lake is so breathtakingly gorgeous and peaceful...you must go here and stay here you won't regret it at all.

My husband and I had a great two night get away. They had the best smelling soap I have ever used. The only hard part was food was a little scarce as we went during the week before the "peek" season started. We took a 30 minute drive to the other side of the lake and had a delicious breakfast though.

Stayed in cabin 32. Wonderful fireplace and good electric heat throughout. Housekeeping stopped to drop off extra towels and toiletries over the holiday. Wonderful view of the lake. Cabins are well equipped even with dishes. Will be coming back to Elkins in the future. Nice getaway.

Fabulous backdrop of the mountains and the lake are breathtaking enough to make almost any food edible but when you are camping for a week on the island I like to go with my friends to eat at Elkins. We went to Hills for years to eat consecutively but when Elkins was discovered it was a nearly a unanimous agreement that false breakfast and dinner are equally heads above the competition. I can only speak as a walk-in customer as I've never launched my boat from their ramp or stayed in their cabins, merely drunk at their bar and consumed countless meals at Elkins. I know it sounds like I'm on the places payroll or something but I cannot sing the praises of their seared halibut or steak enough!

Great resort with a beautiful beach, plenty accomodations and one of the only restaurants on Priest Lake. Food is good and great variety. Visited just for the day and had a great experience!

Great resort , very friendly chefs and service. Front desk lady manager could learn some manners . But the other staff made up for her short comments and rude demeanor. The chef made a special just for me. Excellent filet mignon and scallops.

Stopped by the joint to refresh after long motorcycle ride through ugly weather, twice, and both times it was closed to public for wedding party. While I am all for matronial bliss, this weary Traveller needed respite and not one seat was available. June is Wedding Season. Elkin's is freaking awesome. I get why it books out private style. Went back through July 3 after sprinkling Gma's ashes up in Hughes Meadows and hospitality was back to industry standards and beyond. Cool spot. Visit Elkin's. And Hughes Meadows.

Wonderful resort on Priest Lake (Idaho) with approximately 25 individual rustic cabins, restaurant / bar, small store, boat ramp and docks. The lake is beautiful - crystal clear water surrounded by dense forestry with mountains as a backdrop. Food options at the restaurant and bar range from full breakfast fair (including huckleberry pancakes), nice lunch / sandwich options, upscale dining and bar food and beverages. A great spot to unplug from the busyness of the rat race and enjoy time in nature!

This is an absolutely beautiful area at Christmas time.
Snow covered wood lodges with fireplaces inside.
Cosy, Merry and Wintery!
Their are deer around if you can spot them, and the area is very quiet with few guests at this time of year.

Pull up in a boat and have dinner. The place was very inviting. Decor very lakey which I love. I had a chicken dish that was delicious. Others had the fish that was cooked too dry, hence the 4 stars. They even knew how to make a Smith and Kearns drink!
