Wow, this is a must! We went to Elkins to fuel up and discovered the most delightful outdoor seating area/restaurant. The menu was amazing and our waiter Jasper did an outstanding job. We highly recommend stopping for a meal at Elkins.

A beautiful location to enjoy Priest Lake. We went for brunch on Sunday and there ended up being a breakfast buffet for Father's day. Some of the food was underwhelming, but the pancake station and omelet station were to die for.

Wait staff were very friendly, I would definitely go again if I was in the area.

We got married there in early May- the venue and particularly the staff were fantastic. The staff was on point, helpful, motivated and self starters. The venue itself was delightful, we had the ceremony outside overlooking priest lake and the snow capped Selkirk mountains. The catering was delicious for the reception dinner, the rehearsal dinner, breakfast and lunch. If you haven t visited Priest lake, make Elkins your home base to explore- I can t recommend it highly enough.

Wonderful spot with so many options for outdoor seating and indoor seating alike. The food was very nice and I had the Roast Beast sandwich and fries. Everything was delicious and they were able to special order the food. The drinks were where it really shines with so many unique local variants on classics like Huckleberry Long Island Iced Teas and Huckleberry Margaritas. These were honestly harvested local huckleberries, not a syrup.

A Kobe burger with those delicious skinny little fries and excellent service. Top that with a specialty coffee nudge sitting in the red chairs in front of a blazing fire pit watching the sun set on the lake and you get a taste of a perfect day at the lake. Elkins has it all.

Very good foods! Also very very very expensive! And staying at the cabin is not cheap! If you stay at their cabin for getaway weekend or longer they should give you 10 to 20% of any meals all day!!!

My favorite place!!! Pulled pork nachos, wings with huckleberry dipping sauce huckleberry daiquiris!! The view is beautiful! Cannot go wrong! Cabins are cute as well! We go there all the time to the returant...stayed in the cabins once for a few days and it was a great experience!! Went fishing and daughter caught a fish- forgot foil...so she ran down and asked if they had any and they gave her a ton!! Friendly service every time!!! We love that area so much!! They have fire pits- when we stayed we roasted marshmallows right there on the beach...they provide comfy chairs also at the beach and a play structure my 6 yo loved!! Volleyball net as well! Check it out

Elkins Resort is located in Northern Idaho nestled...

Elkins Resort is located in Northern Idaho nestled among the mountains and right along the shore of Priest Lake. The majestic views that surround the resort are nothing short of awe inspiring and sure to help any guest relax and find comfort in the beauty of their surroundings. Staying during winter one can enjoy the snow covered surroundings with fun activities like cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and snow shoeing. An on site bar and restaurant provide quality food and beverages which are a little pricey but reasonable considering the isolated beauty enjoyed during a stay. Steaks, lobster, pasta and chicken are all on the menu and cooked to order with quality ingredients sure to satiate any appetite. Staying in the two story cabin with some friends, the accommodations we're spacious and comfortable. Hot water for showers was on par with many hotels in so much as that it never ran out so pampering yourself with a long shower is delightful. The gas fireplace on the first floor warmed up the room almost too well and the balcony upstairs provided respite with views of the woods and lake during relaxing contemplation. Satellite TV, and all the comforts of home from a full kitchen to washer and dryer made for a nice getaway. The only downside was limited internet which is isolated to the main Lodge itself limits your ability to share the gorgeous photos on social media you will capture staying here. Lastly the only other downside is the pillows, which for me were far too thick and fluffy, so bring one from home if you're the type who likes a little less elevation while sleeping. With those slight inconveniences this resort easily ranks among northern Idaho's top destinations to stay at during any season of the year. Highly recommend it.

Only frustration was based on a phone call with Elkins the day before we arrived. Asked about snowmobiling, and was told that there were people snowmobiling, When we got there, there was no snowmobiling for miles of the resort

Elkins deserves six stars or more, if I could give it to them. This is my favorite resort on Priest Lake, but others are close. The cabins are rustic and beautiful, the lawn area is clean and inviting with gorgeous views, and the restaurant always pleases.

Great stay in a beautiful remote area, just what we were looking for. The cabin was quaint and having a wood burning fireplace was so relaxing and cozy in the evenings. I personally LOVED the lights and Christmas tree outside the cabins. The restaurant was excellent as the food and service was top notch. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all questions we had and providing us with information to make our stay enjoyable. Love this area.

Been coming here for years, and it's pretty great. Cabins are nice, the restaurant/bar is great, nice beach access and a fabulous lake. It's a bit out of the way, and expensive. But all in all, it's a great place

We are staying in Cabin 3 and it is great!
The staff are all fantastic. The ambiance of the restaurant is unbeatable. My wife and I had the 12 oz New York. She said hers was average. Mine on the other hand was disappointing. My cut should have never been served. It had an overabundance of fat. I ordered medium rare. It was overcooked and the abundance of fat was charcoal. For $31 I expect better. The rest of the meal was fine. I give my meal a 1 star and the resort a five.

We stopped in for gas on the way to the upper lake. Service was prompt and friendly. Enjoyed the new enterprertive sign of the mountains surrounding the resort. Would be fun to see more of those information signs around the lake.

Had a great time at Elkins resort. Cabins are rustic and clean. The resort was great. We were so fortunate to have Jasper as one of our servers. Jasper was so attentive and great at making sure everything was perfect. We also enjoyed Bradley who was great at attending to our off menu requests among other things. Elkins is awesome! Eric S.

Stayed at the cabins during the summer for the first time last year. Had a great experience staying in the cabins right by Elkins restaurant. The view of priest lake is amazing! It's so nice to take a few steps across the grass and walk down the docks or right over to the restaurant for some food and drinks. The burger and fries was delicious, great beer selection, and unique craft cocktails with huckleberry. It was super busy during the weekend so getting a table may take some time, but they also have outside service with picnic tables and chairs

Beautiful setting and nice people but their prices seem high even for the area. We made arrangements based on information available on the web and found something different when we arrived. With our deposit already paid we were stuck. When I mentioned the discrepancy I was told it was a mistake... still stuck and deposit paid. The response to my concerns was equivalent to oh well . I will be looking to spend my money at Hills in the future.

The cabins are rustic and very private. The marina and restaurant are set up very well. That being said the boat launch has deficits in the cement ramp under the water making it very difficult to trailer a boat. I think each cabin should be upgraded to include a/c, non stick pans and a better quality mattress. It's a premium price I would expect these premium features.

Very nice great amenities had a great dinner at the restaurant the cabin was nice and clean bedrooms were tight but still nice.also had a charcoal bbg. And deck. Would recommend a weekend. Early in the season. After that you have to rent for a week. They also have some cabins open in the winter we enjoyed that also. They do allow pets too.
