UPDATE: Editing this review due to a second interaction I had with this company. After only 30 days from my initial service call, our gate stopped working again. I was told they offered a 90-day warranty on service and parts so I called to have them come back out to diagnose the issue. A different tech came and suddenly it was a completely different issue than the first time. Hmm... They tried to charge me $900 for a new circuit board which costs $300 online. THEN, when I said I didn't want the new circuit board installed, they still tried to charge me for the service call...which I was not informed about when I called to have the tech come out. He said if the current issue did not have to do with the original issue, then I'd have to pay a service fee ($255 for nothing!). I refused to pay, as no one told me that would be the case. If I knew the service call was not going to be covered then I would have called a different company to begin with. I don't trust this company and will not be using them ever again.
I'm keeping the original review below to prove that I was initially happy and they did fix the original issue (at least for 30 days). I only posted the review below because they offered 5% off the service fee if I gave a review. But it was very awkward, as they made me post the review before the tech left. So anyway, just a very strange situation.
John was extremely professional and was able to fix our gate quickly and accurately. He explained everything to me in detail which I greatly appreciated. Elite Access Doors and Gates was very responsive from the beginning and was quick to respond to our request for service. I would definitely use them again if our gate needs servicing.
