I also was offered a job at Dowling Park village. For housekeeper, still waiting for a background that they said. And will get back to me, but no answer and no letter has not been sent to me either. I know with the pandemic and all. I do understand. This wasn't first time it happened. This make my second time I had a interview already done in March of this year. And how I feel now that my emotions have been played with. It's ok but God will hold it to your NAME! Thank you for your time.

In Carter House, an independent living facility, I find more convenience than I expected. The facilities are more than adequate. I can do my own cleaning, cooking, shopping and laundry, but help is offered where needed. As in the rest of life, it is what you make of it by your own attitudes and efforts. I have been in several senior facilities and this is by far the best I've found.

This is a wonderful and beautiful campus. Everyone you come in contact with are super nice and very caring. They have something for everyone, from government assisted housing to homes on the Suwannee River listed in the $400,000. range. The outdoor activities are awesome,2 pools including a indoor one.Three onsite restaurants are very reasonably priced and a Lodge for visitors. My mother has been a resident for 7 years and the family couldn t be happier with her quality of life at the village!!!

I was going for a job at Wee Care and the director there was very vague on job description, wage, and other info. you need to know! I had to ask to find out about anything! She was nice, but got upset when you express concern over wage and she has nothing to do with pay. Pay is very low in the village and so is raises. She was rushing me into the job with no intel at all. I was supposed to have no concern about the pay and just go with it, I assumed??!!

I could go into details as to why this retirement community does not live up to its mission statement. However, that would be self-satisfying and venting. Instead I will just give my recommendation: If you are in good health and have some money, please stay far, far, far away.

Not what I expected. Residents I talked to seemed very shy about talking about their living there. Why? The nursing building seemed to be their main focus. Living in the few places outside of them were scattered about, unless you could afford the cottages...I couldn t. The lodge was great and clean and welcoming. Wish I could have lived there! So, go visit, if you need immediate care, move there. Highly recommended. If you are pre-nursing home and are looking for affordable housing, that will be hard to find. The grounds, the people, all great.

I've been employed here for approximately 2 years, and many employees stay a long time because it is a great place to work. The Village cares about high quality in all it does and are very good stewards of their finances. They share Christ's love and care about quality, privacy and professionalism, and they Really care about members enjoying their lives here as they "age in place". This place is truly a hidden gem in Florida!
