The only Amusement Park of decent size to be found in Colorado. Ticket prices are fair if not slightly over priced, but definitely more fair since the Elitch family bought the property back.
Food is definitely overpriced and not worth the wait in the lines.
I advise bringing your own water bottles and lunch, and you re sure to have a fantastic time.

The rides are fun but short. I recommend getting a season pass early in the summer for the water park if youre a local or going on home Bronco games is you're looking for a day of fun. Get in right at Noon and youll be able to hit all the rides before the lines are terribly long and when the game starts the crowds thin. Hit the dragons wing and mind eraser first.

I can t count how many times I have been to Elitches since 1977!! And always a fantastic time, never a dull time. Whether my childhood and teenage summer days, my children s birthday parties, my children s performances, concerts, Halloween celebrations or even dropping my son off to work at this facility I can t complain once! If you want to experience a quick glance of Denver from above ride the Ferris wheel at night or day, it s beautiful. Will miss this place!

Wow for the price. This place makes our amusment park and water park look like a park with a swimming pool. You get access to the water park and the amusment park for one price. If you want a locker it will cost you $12. Parking is $15. If possible try not to eat here it is very expensive. $32 for a pizza and i think a hotdog was $8. A soda is $10 and refills for $.99. Besides the over priced stuff, it is a very cool park to visit. Lots to do. Thanks from El paso,Tx

Had so much fun at the water park with my 7 year old and 5 year old. FYI if you bring a cold cup/ metal water bottle you can have ice in it but no liquid. They will make you dump out the water when you go through security.

We had a very disappointing visit to Elitches yesterday. We had to get off some rides, as they werent working (Starflier and Dragon boat). Esp painful when you have stood in line for 30 to 45 mins!! Also found that theres no way you can get a cup of coffee in Elitches.
Noticed poor maintenance of tables and cleanliness in food courts. Food and the tickets dont come cheap, but lacks maintenance.

We're glad to still have elitch gardens but this park is a sad disfigurement compared to the original elitch gardens. Expect cheaply made stuffed animals and run of the mill gifts, the good rides are frequently closed sometimes all season without a non vague explanation. Last time I got season passes I wanted refunded (which never happened) due to the sad state of the park and closed rides, rude employees that obviously don't care about their job or the rides safety as much as they could.... but you can only expect so much from 18 year old ride operators.

The new ride they are promoting is just terrible they replaced the ghost shooting ride for this stupid colorful thing we waited 2 hours to ride and my 6 year old was bored on it! Wont be doing that ever again.

Very fun!

Very fun!
My experiences at this park are usually VERY good.
I would probably give the rating between 4 & 5 stars, were it not for the highly overpriced, lackluster food.
On a good day it tastes kind of decent, but it's very hit or miss.
Make the food taste like it's priced, & I give you 5 stars, Elitch's! :)

As a two year season pass holder, I believe the new addition to double tubes to wave pools should not be allowed as there is enough people (either fairly buying it or not) that have the normal tubes in the wave pool. Double tubes take up way too much space and slowly bud everyone away from the tube causing more people to run into each other while the waves are going, while I was in the wave pool I saw a double tube in one wave slamming a kids head into the side rock causing him to cry, a kid got ran over and rammed my elbow into the rock while the kids inside were unsupervised and had zero consequence.

What a cluster!! The staff is clueless. One parking lot was half empty and they would not let anyone park in it. Ask the staff..."I don't know" rides are closed...ask the staff..."I dont know"...ask the staff for directions inside the park..."I dont know". We have been season pass holders for the last 3 years...not likely next year...how about training your staff!?!? Maybe they can learn to be friendly and actually smile.

Do not come here. The rides are rickety and in some cases unsafe, the food is obscenely expensive and low quality (not to mention, the condiments are open-topped so flies are landing in them and the drinks don't even have lids or ice) and there are rats the size of Chihuahuas running around. It is not safe. Run.

Jakai on "Al's big rig trucking" was amazing! So kind and patient with my 3 year old son riding the ride over and over again. I think we rode it 20 times and he carefully checked the seatbelts and graciously asked us to step out of the ride area each time to make sure all of the rules were followed. We felt very safe and enjoyed the day completely. I guess we got lucky there was never a line the whole day long in kiddie land!

Paid $15 for a full parking lot. People started parking in the road and you couldn't leave. Nobody was there to help with traffic. Took us an hour to leave. The staff on the rides we're rude and looked like they hated there jobs. The swimming pool smelled like poo. Half the rides we're closed. Nothing new since our last visit and some of the good rides we're gone. Save your money for different entertainment in Denver. To not see Elitch's is the best thing for Denver.

I totally agree with people that the park is only in it for what they can get out of you for the most part. My husbands wallet was stolen and just to reprint out the passes that we paid for the season pass and dining plan they wanted $30 to reprint out our passes. $15 dollars a pass and their excuse is that some people have lost their passes multiple times so they demand payment for reprints of any pass. The kicker of all this: THEY DO NOT ADVERTISE THAT INSTEAD OF A PASS THEY KNOW YOURE GONNA HAVE PROBLEMS WITH AND END UP PAYING $15 REPRINT FEES FOR EACH PASS YOU CAN WEAR A WRIST BAND FOR $10 more. Always keep in mind and educate yourself on your options because they will rip you off each and every time. P.S. they also use color coding on their cups for those that you have to pay to refill and those that are unlimited refill besides from 3 to 4 pm. And on top of my statements we also learned this the hard way after they gave us red cups when we paid for the unlimited refills and were given limited refill cups. The meal plan is also not unlimited meals as they limit your meals even when you've paid for a meal plan you can't eat from 3 to 4 and are limited on what you can order to their lower end meals. Keep that in mind and as stated before this park is tricky tricky so read the fine print since they are out for your $$$$!

Emily in Kiddieland was just wonderful to our family today. She helped our 2 year old with the fishing game. He screamed with excitement as she helped him catch a fish. Then all 4 kids in our group had to play the game. She took a family photo for us - 3 generations - afterward and just made our day.

This is my second visit to Elitch Gardens, and it was filled with disappointment compared with my first. Attractions which were closed during my visit were numerous, including the Observation Tower, Twister II (the wooden roller coaster) , Tube Top (enclosed water park ride), and Thunderbolt.

And for the rides that were open, I don't know why but the operators seem to be running at half speed. It took a notably longer time for people to be loaded into seats and sent on rides.

Ok park, but very American (No wonder). Not so efficient staff and some bungee rides cost extra. You should not take any kind of drink with them so they can take $ 4 for an ordinary pepsi. There are excellent rides, with ok variation.

Don't expect rides to be open at 10:00 when the park opens; this is when the employees are testing them. Rustler's food court has terrible food-not a lettuce or tomato to be found, for a cheeseburger & no such luxuries as mayo.

I went with a group of friends to this theme park for an outing on a Sunday. It was a total let down. The whole place is so gross. Everything is sticky, garbage everywhere and mysterious dirty puddles all over. The first ride we waited for was the Mind Eraser and it took us an hour and a half to get on the thing. After riding more rides, we realized that this had a lot to do with the fact that not only were half of the rides closed "for repairs" but that the staff just does not care at all about their jobs. The kids that run the rides have no interest in moving the lines along at all. I can't blame them, it seems like a terrible place to be at for eight hours a day. If you've been to any theme parks in Florida or New Jersey, this place is just embarrassing. Basically a glorified carnival.

The ride selection could be better. I thought the rides were too similar to each other. Everything here was overpriced including the parking ($20) and especially the food. You're paying up to $10.99 for funnel cake that is made of cheap pancake batter that you can buy in bulk for less than $6 at Sam's Club. It would be nice if they had a better selection of food that is better quality and more affordable.

The rides are always fun. The service at multiple stands was strange. At Mary's ice cream shop both people working had bad attitudes and quite frankly seemed to be stupid. All of the tables were filthy too. The service at the fry stand was some of the strangest behavior I have ever seen. The transgender girl (I only mentioned this because I know anyone that went to this stand on Saturday 8/18/18 knows what I'm talking about and witnessed this behavior) working there was talking so low we couldn't hear her and moving slower than molasses. She was making everyone in our line uncomfortable because she was making sexy faces at the men. I asked for a straw and she awkwardly and purposefully passed my outstretched hand to give it to my daughter. It was bizarre. Later as I went into the women's restroom two employees were full on yelling at each other in the doorway, one of them was a Supervisor. Two other stands we had to wait to get service until the employees were finished on their phones or talking to each other. Throughout the park people were smoking where they shouldn't be. My daughter and I feel as though Elitch'es is going downhill and the place is getting ghetto! The ride operators were the highlight of the day as they were up beat and friendly.

Our library had a summer program that provided Elitch gardens tickets to the kids as a prize for reading. Adults still had to pay $30. For the reduced price, this was a very reasonable investment! The kids loved the place. Plenty of entertainment for kids and adults all ages. Most rides are included in the entrance price, although a selected few are not. The lines are unavoidable but they weren't too bad, especially on the Kiddieland rides for the younger ones. Water fountains are rare but available. Food is lacking: overpriced a great deal and no healthy options. Own food not allowed although they let up bring a few snack bars in. For the full price of $60 per person, probably not worth it. Try booking online for a better price. Parking is $20 but there are street parking options very nearby for $1/hr. Very little shade, prepare for a very hot day even in September, bring lots of water.

Went here for our daughter s birthday. What a rip off. It started to rain around 7:30 PM so a few the rides began to shut down which is understandable but then before we left, we wanted to get her cotton candy and just the few shops that have it are closed down over an hour early and not even willing to help us. The worst part about it is the girls employing the shop were sitting inside chatting with the doors closed/locked clearly just checked out for the day. For the amount we paid, that s just an unacceptable slap in the face. Won t be coming back.
