In February I accepted a job with a company in Atlanta, so our family was going to be relocating from Milwaukee, WI. We knew we were going to need help finding our new home. We were referred to Molly Edwards with the Peters Company. We reached out to Molly mid to late February once we had an idea of when we would initially come out to start looking. She was super responsive from the get go. We gave her some general areas we were looking at as well as some of our requirements for a home.
We came out to Atlanta the first week in March and we met with Molly prior to going to look at houses. She took the time to make us aware of some of the more Georgia specific items in terms of purchasing a home. Once we were all up to speed, we headed out to our showings. She wanted to know what we did and didn't like about each of the homes we saw, so that she could help to tailor our continued search. By the end of the day, we quickly realized that a resale home was not the right route for us.
Due to overall timing, and COVID becoming a serious concern in the US, we went out to view a couple of new build communities on our own before heading to the airport. We emailed with Molly once we got back to WI and told her about our new plan. She didn't skip a beat and quickly helped us come up with our negotiation strategy with the new build community. By the end of March, we were under contract.
From then on Molly was part of every email, phone/video call, and the design session. She followed up with the builder on our behalf before we would even need to ask! Molly and her team did all of the scheduling of our inspecrions and everything! Being virtual from March - July was so nerve wracking for us, but Molly made it so much better! She went out to the house for the inspections and did video calls with us afterwards.
Molly was vital in making sure that our close date was met and that we had a smooth transaction! We would 10/10 recommended Molly and The Peters Company!
