My girlfriend and I were trying to schedule a viewing for a apartment with this leasing agency but were swayed from even applying. If my memory serves me correct, it is against the law to try to deter someone from renting from a unit. Whoever the guy was, gave us the run around and continued to tell us common sense things about the process for the application. We were spoke to as if we were complete idiots and incompetent. Wish I could post screenshots. Stay away, they don t know the first thing about professionalism.
Oh and I forgot, before you even apply they do their own google search on you to determine if they will set up a listing with you. They do a full background search before you even put in a application.

I reached out about an apartment and spoke with him and he said it was unavailable but that he had something better and he would send me pictures. He sent them right away and wow he was right the apartment was amazing! He made EVERYTHING so easy for me and always answered all my questions so quickly. If I decide to move again I literally saved his number in my phone because there's no doubt in my mind I won't get this kind of service from anyone else.

Let me begin by saying I wish there were a way to give zero stars.
I found two properties on Elan Realty Group website that were in my price range and available.
I called and spoke with an agent named Johnpaul. He told me he would call me back or text me to let me know when I could view one of the two apartments. Johnpaul did not call, nor did he text me.
Days later, I found another apartment for less than my budget and in a well known Chicago neighborhood. I called again, and Johnpaul answered the phone. He looked up the property and told me he would need to confirm the price. He called back, and we scheduled a tour for the next day after he confirmed the cost of the apartment with another associate.
The following day I texted Johnpaul to confirm again my appointment and where to meet him. He texted me back, saying he needed to confirm the price again because it was "too good to be true." Later he texted me back saying the price was actually $2,000 more than the listing on the website. He was not apologetic and did not attempt to call me to explain the situation or any new information he'd received.
I would NEVER recommend Elan Realty Group to anyone. Not only were they a pain to get in contact with, but they also should probably look into hiring a detail-oriented person to place descriptions and prices on the website.
It's truly ridiculous and unprofessional.

Cesar is dishonest and will attempt to make current tenants pay $50 each for a subleaser because he has to type up a new lease agreement. He should not be trying to get money out of tenants but instead talk to the landlord. I would never recommend anyone to this real estate agency as I ve experience a dishonest agent.
Excellent experience. I Had to plan a Move Across States and a lot of the Properties in Chicago were not willing to work with me. Trying to work and Move at the same time didn't give me much time or flexibility to do much.
Cesar helped me out a lot and found me the first property out of many that I have tried that actually approved me. I am so grateful for his him. I highly recommend their services.

Easy to work with, Alanna O'Connor my realtor was great to work with.
I emailed, no response. I called and left a voicemail, no response or even a call back. I texted the number provided for the listing, no response for a few days then got a text asking questions. After letting them know I had a dog, heard nothing back. If you don t accept dogs for that particular unit then say so. Do you guys only respond to who you want or do you treat all your customers this way? Being busy is not an excuse.
Had very nice units, but otherwise horrible service. My roommates and I looked at a 2 bedroom 2 batbroom garden level condo for $1650/month plus a one month deposit. After paying a processing fee of $90 for our appication they requested us to put 2 months down. Look else where. Waste of your time.

Elizabeth is just a careless individual who does not seem to like people and her job. She barely responds to correspondence, she never shows up, and of course she never apologizes. Her time is way more important than yours! Find some else please!!! Really!!
Set to meet up with Alonzo at 3057 Montrose so I trek my way out to that address. Once I arrive I give Alonzo a call and he says I have the wrong address but I simply copied the address he text me. So now I'm out at an unknown location and asks if he could pick me up to do his job and show me the unit. He says he can't because he has another showing to do. To add another layer when I attempted to call him back he forwarded my call so I called the office. Once on the phone with the operator, she seemed very nonchalant and shaped her mouth to say, "what exactly do you want me to do about that?" Rude people.
Now I'm late for my job and didn't even see a unit.
Note for you Elan Realty, it's about communication and caring about other people's need and not the possible paycheck you'll get.
