Best Mexican food to be had in the state of Florida.

Love the food we came to Disney world and stopped by to have some real Mexican food the food was so amazing especially the carne asada also are serve Montserrat was great with us she had a lot patients and helped us decide on are orders and drink thank you

We moved here from Texas so not trying to brag but we know what great Mexican food is, to clarify Tex-Mex. We had tried many other Mexican food places closer to home but couldn t check all the boxes. The boxes, for us, are ranked in order 1. Salsa. 2. Margaritas 3. Enchiladas. 4. Fajitas 5. Chips 6. Service.
It may seem strange separating salsa from the chips in ranking them, we consider ourselves experts and have decades of experience
So...El Patron checks every box and then some, ask for off menu habanero sauce, the chefs specials are interesting as well, and they are CONSISTENTLY AWESOME!

Food and service was excellent for the price. We told our waiter Omar that we were in a hurry and he got our food to us right away.

I have driven by this restaurant for years and have never stopped in until the other night. I am so glad we did. The margaritas were awesome and the fajitas were so good!

9.99 lunch buffet Mon thru Friday and OMG. Especially for a buffet style Mexican probably the see of the best Mexian in Orlando but definitely the best Mexican buffet I have found yet. This is my new fave for lunch

First, this is not standard Americanized Mexican food. It is unique. Even the chips are not chips, they are large corn disks that you break apart to eat. We got the bean / cheese / guacamole appetizer and it was very good.
They also don't have standard entries. Many were very unique as well. A great place to try something new! Also of note, they have real horchata!!! Highly Recommended!

Great food. The wife and I ordered the sampler appetizer and the empenadas. Was more than enough for the two of us. It all tased great. Also the salsa has a smokey flavor and is awesome.

Favorite Mexican style restaurant in Central Florida. El patron fajitas are a great selection as well as any of the taco dishes, fried plantains are my favorite side item. Excellent service!

Back again and still the best and most authentic cuisine we have ever tasted. El Patron never fails to exceed expectations both in food quality and excellence of service.

My husband and I went to El Patron with our 10 month old baby and had their $6 lunch special. The enchilada suiza was perfect, all the flavors really complemented eachother and the presentation of the food looked really delicious. The waiter was great with our baby, I forgot a bib so he showed me how to tie a napkin to make a bib for him, it was so adorable. We're definately going back.

This restaurant was recommended by the consierge at the Renaissance. The salsa had good flavor, and the chips were like tostada chips. They weren't hot, but they were good. The chicken fajitas were salty, but sizzling and fresh with tender chicken and nice veggies. The tortillas weren't anything to write home about. Get the guac. They nailed that. Service was good, yet one waiter tried to take our plates multiple times when we were not done.

My husband and I found this place by chance and we were impressed with the quick service. The place was clean and friendly staff. Our server Alex recommended great tacos. The guacamole was amazing. We even had the margarita flights mango, watermelon and strawberry which was equally delicious as the food. For sure we will be coming back!

El Patron is my favorite restaurant to eat at when I am visiting this part of Florida. After a long day walking around the Disney Resort, this place is nearby and really easy to get to. The food is reasonably priced, delicious and the service is spectacular. This is a family friendly place that offers so many varieties of authentic Mexican Food dishes. I recommend the tacos! The Pastor tacos are my favorite. Enjoy!

Awesome dinner we had visiting Orlando. 5 of us with 2 kids . Everyone loved it. Very delicious fresh tacos. Huge portions and very good selection at reasonable prices. We will definitely be back.

Didn t honor our reservation because they were too busy ! Unacceptable, will not be back.

She said we re really busy it s Cinco de Mayo - I know it s Cinco de Mayo, that s why I made the reservation! If you know you aren t honoring reservations then this shut down the open table portal, real easy!

It s the best Mexican food we ve ever had!
We preferred the carne asada tacos. They were delicious, and the shrimp cocktail was amazing!

The chips were served as whole tortillas with the chips and salsa, which we ve never had.
you re in the mood for Mexican, this is the place to go!

Good food good service a little loud very open restaurant. This is a good place for bringing groups not so good for a romantic night. The sangria is awesome best I have had in a long time. Eat your fruit you will get the kick.

I order fajitas and they did not taste good, they did look great though.

Stopped in for dinner after doing some Christmas shopping today. The restaurant is very clean, staff was very friendly. Our food came out pretty fast and hot. Our waiter was great! Hands down this is the best Mexican food I have had here in Florida. I had the the chicken grande burrito and it was soooo good and very filling, and their homemade hot hot was bangin! Definitely will be going back.

My family of 6 ate here while on vacation. We enjoyed it so much we went back 2 more times. The food is so fresh and delicious. We all absolutely loved it. Our waiter was great and we couldn t recommend it more.

The food was incredible. This was my first time experiencing a Mexican buffet, but every single thing was delicious. The food was well cooked and seasoned to perfection. Let me also share that I had one of the BEST Sangrias I have ever drank...EVER!! (ok...best 2 Sangrias).

Plates were dirty lost my appetite. Ok food but very overpriced. It includes 18% mandatory tip although service was okay. Menu outside the place has lower prices than the actual price, deceptive. Definitely not a place I would come back to.

Weekday buffet is cheap and have great selections! Taco, pulled meat, fajita Some dishes could be too salty, but $10 is really worth it.
