In this place the people are very nice. They do a very good job, too.
HOWEVER, they have a policy which I consider to be unkind. After my husband's surgery, he remained under the effect of anesthesia for a whole day. He was woken up just to be discharged, only an hour after the surgery. He was in extreme pain and had a very hard time waking up. I asked if he could just sleep longer and if they'd let him just rest. They didn't. They said every patient leaves "sleepy." And it wasn't sleepy. He couldn't walk, he could barely open his eyes, and like I mentioned, he was hurting more the more they made him move. Getting his clothes on was quite the task, which I had to do for him, and he was hurting a lot trying to get from his bed to the wheel chair. He was asked to fast before the surgery. So since he woke up in the morning to like 3pm when he was discharged, he had nothing to eat. They didn't give him a meal, either. My point is, if you are hoping you will be cared for after your surgery, this is not the place. If you will be using this place, make sure someone will have food ready for you and that someone will be taking care of you physically for a few days (at least).
