Great every time. Love seeing them make the guacamole. Wait staff is awesome.

Hands down, one of my favorites restaurants. The staff is always smiling. Food arrives in a timely manner. The table side guacamole is THE BEST!!!!!

I have been coming to this place for over 13 years. The food and the service was great then and is still great today. Never had a problem with either... Highly recommend.

This place is the BEST! Awesome fesh guacamole made at the table. I tip generously for their guac. It's the best I've EVER tasted!!! I usually get two bowls!! Staff is friendly and fast. Service is top-notch. You NEVER have to ask for a refill on your drink. Clean, and everyone wears a mask. I feel very safe eating here. Reasonably priced. I can go on and on, but you have to see for yourself. They do pickup as well. LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!!!

I live this place!!!! The BEST Mexican around!!! The guacamole is made fresh right in front of you. They also have an amazing white sauce. The staff is also amazing, super nice and very helpful.

I used to eat here as a family when I was in high school. I hadn t eaten at El Loro in 10 years or so, but I was very disappointed. The service was extremely slow. My mom s food came out 20 minutes after the rest of the table s and nothing was done about it. The food itself was average at best. They have lost a customer.

It is an amazing place. Been going there since it's been half the size! It's a great deal for the food. And I'd highly recommend it. Take all my dates there!

Tucked in the back of the shopping center but food is always fast and on point.....

I do not like what you ordered, did not have very simple taste. I don't eat there again ... (order Mexican tacos and a horchata water, which looks like you would have served me milk with sugar.

Loved the shrimp tacos. Had great taste to them and not bland at all like some others.

Service sucked on Feb 24. Waited an hr for food never saw it. We walked out. Use to be a great place. Will NEVER be back again.

Service was great! Happy hours margarita was excellent! The carnitas were 3 huge chunks that were dry and tasteless. I was in a hurry, don't know if they would have made it right. Carnitas at two other mexican restaurants were better.

My husband found this place online and said it had good reviews so we decided to try it out. When we walked in the smell of it made me feel at home(California), so I was super excited. It was busy in there and they sat us right away. The guy came right to our table and made us fresh guacamole, which was really good. When the waiter first started he was really good but went down hill very quickly. After he took our order we didn't see him for a while. We had empty water cups the whole time and he didn't notice it. It turns out he was working behind the bar also. The server who brought my food out dropped my plate of food on my lap. I picked the food off my lap and put it on the plate and the server started to walk away and expected me to eat the food that fell on my lap. He didn't even help me clean up the mess or even bring me napkins. My waiter was so busy behind the bar that he didn't even notice anything. After a while he comes up to the table and asks if everything is okay and i said no and he said good and walked away. He was so busy he didn't even notice i said no. They ended up bringing me another plate of food and didn't even apologize or try to make up for their accident. By this time i was over it and took my food to go.

The food was out fast even though we went in 20 minutes to closing. The server was attentive and respectful. We will definitely go back for more!

One of, if not my favorite Mexican restaurants. The fresh, made at your table, guacamole is great. I recommend the queso as well. Some of my favorite meals are: chicken fajitas, burritos Acapulco, and the shrimp tacos. You really can't go wrong with either of those. If you plan on going here a on a Friday night get there a little early because people know how good this place is and there will most likely be a wait.

This is a classic well-run Mexican restaurant. The service is friendly and the food comes out fast and hot. It's one of my Chesapeake favorites.

I've been coming here for years. Let's say I'm a veteran on the streets of Greenbrier haha. Anywho, it's been a long time since I've been able to go out to dinner with my partner. Every time we have come here. We are treated respectfully. They even teach us some Spanish sometimes..

Went last night with the girlfriend and a family friend. Service and food was great! No complaints at all. But I'm wide awake right now on Saturday writing this because I definitely have food poisoning. Not sure what happened but I'm sick as a dog and I am not hungover because I did not consume any alcohol; I stuck with soda.

Salsa is not much better than store bought, food is substandard, and the staff is rude. The only thing I would recommend is El Loro's immediate closure. They refuse to bring out a second order of chips and had more fruit flies than a rotten fruit stand.
