My go to Mexican in town. Can't go wrong here. I've been looking for a place that can beat their white sauce for years now.

Always perfect! I get the number four lunch....never fails to be the best.

Great service great food and it drinks at the bar not watered down

We've stumbled upon this place by accident and I'm so glad we have! This is by far the best Mexican food in the HR area and we've been to quite a few Mexican places! We live in Norfolk but well travel the 45 mins just to come here! Looks wise it doesn't seem much but the staff are great always friendly and the food is always fresh hot and amazingly authentic and oh so yummy! I loved the guy rolling to each table making fresh homemade guacamole right in front of u! I've ordered the chicken tamales, carne asada, carnitas, and the beef tacos in the past and all were amazing! The serving sizes are very generous and fill u up quickly.

The restaurant was ok. The plate of food was big; however the Carne Asada had way too much fat on it and not very favorable.

My favorite Mexican restaurant!!! Especially the guacamole salad made right in front of me. Yummy .

I always enjoy this place. Lunch time can be pretty crowded tho.

Great Guacamole ! The best I've had. Flavorful, fresh ingredients. I would suggest consistency in the proper temperature of requested doneness. I ordered medium and received well done. It was a thin steak so it has to be prepared differently than a thicker cut. Overall experience, awesome!

Great Texas Fajitas and margaritas. Fast and courteous service.

Great food! I would highly recommend getting the fresh guacamole. Juan is the guac God.

Nice place for those who like Mexican food. They serve drinks, beers and others cold beverages.
Try the pollo Popeye. It's awesome.

Six of us went on a busy Saturday morning for breakfast. There was already a wait, but it went pretty fast. There is a huge variety on the menu, and we all chose something different. The waitress was knowledgeable and friendly, and handled the special requests with ease.

My new Mexican place since Mi Hogar has closed. Server was awesome and food was on point.

Don't expect "great" service half hour before close but was more than pleased with quality of food. Table-side Fresh Guacamole was a big +. Will return on next trip to area...and a lil earlier.

Dont get the shrimp fajitas!!! Not worth the money they charge...11shrimp for dinner. I complained and was told that's their standard. Plenty of other Mexican restaurants give MUCH more.

My family and i go here all the time for mexican food now. they have a great menu and even when they are busy, the kitchen is quick making your food.

Ever since new management the food has been really poor! The manager is rude and gets loud with the costumers! So my family and I wont be returning here. We used to eat here regularly but its time to find a new Mexican restaurant!

Hands down best Mexican restaurant around. Literally go here all the time. Food and drinks are great. Guacamole is the delicious you definitely need to try the California burrito just add queso on top and pair it with a margarita and you are golden. (Go to meal and it never fails)

Good service, with great food. I was the only one not drinking, but everyone in my group loved the margaritas. We were a 5 top, in the middle of the lunch rush and they handled it with no problem. Huge fan of the table side Guac too Stay Thirsty My Friends.

Great food, good portions and selections. Excellent service. Very reasonable.

Love this place. They have vegetarian dishes, just wish they had plant based/vegan dishes. It's hard to go out with friends or family and stay plant based/ vegan. There food and service is wonderful though.

Get the California Burrito from here. You won t be disappointed. Staff was friendly. I generally eat at lunch hours or order to go. A little pricey but super yummy.

Tasty freshly prepared Mexican dishes. I especially like the way they make guacamole at your table and let you choose what you want in it! Very good food every time. Hope you like Mariachi music!

My wife and I love this restaurant. The staff is great and there food is even better. They wait on you hand and foot and they will party right next to you if you want them too.

Had the lunch special number 12, burrito, cheese quesadilla, and Mexican rice and it was delicious. The waitress was amazing and very wonderful. Sadly I dont remember her name.

Food was just not that great. White sauce was sour, not sweet. Beans tasted like they had cocoa in them.. We did have wonderful service but probably won't be back.

Happy hour!!!!! Ok, first time here, while in town for work. Chips and salsa yum! They also serve this white sauce with the chips that I have never seen before- guess its a VA thang and it is go-oood. My dinner was the El Flakka salad with grilled shrimp(lots of shrimp), roasted corn, black beans, avocado, onions , lettuce some fruit. Really good and filling. I recommend if you are in the area.

This place has great reviews so maybe I came in at the wrong time but first impressions are everything and I won't be coming back.
When I first walked in the hostess looked at
me and continued talking for 2 minutes before seating me.
I ordered cheese dip and fajitas both of which were incredibly bland and the chicken was way overcooked.
My waitress was nice enough but not as attentive as I'd like

Very rude manager, waitress took the wrong order and he told me I was going to pay for something I didn't order. Insensitive and lacks customer service skills. He even posed for pictures that I will be posting on their Yelp page. I will never go to this establishment again. This restaurant gets a lot of businesss and needs a more skilled manager.

Love the chicken taco salad. We've missed the salsa and queso!!!
