As a foreign talent, I think this recruiting company does not provide good services to foreigners, in fact, it seems to me that they only prefer dealing with Singaporeans/PRs. I was not even given a courtesy call unlike some of their competitors even though my application was rejected. In my humble opinion, please state the reason why a candidate is rejected even through email/phone call/any means of communication. I think what people want to really hear is why they are not selected. Overall, it was a really awful experience engaging with a so-called reputable recruitment company in Singapore. I've always thought that Singapore companies offer top notch services and products, apparently, that's not always the case.

Don't waste your time with them.

Don't waste your time with them.
They do not know what they are doing.
Kinda rude and irresponsible, you can refer to the other people review here. The positive review is usually their internal staff, trust me I've seen people doing that.
Employer should stop using their service.
This kind of agency should never exist.

It is true that the older staffs from Achieve Group have condescending attitudes. They probably just make you go all the way to their office just to make themselves feel better. Very unprofessional. Beware of a staff with the name "Sherry". Just walk away and leave immediately if she attends to you.

Dont bother waste your time with them. Once heard of achieve group or so. Just immediately hang up the phone. This agency wont offer you anything. As their consultant only act as helping you. Thank joyce

I talked to a lady called Eunice, I think she's one of the rudest recruiter I have ever talked to...Let me share some example.

First case.
Recruiter: Are you familiar with consumable goods?
Me: Well it depends, what is your understanding of consumable goods? I am more familiar with consumer products because that is more relevant to my previous experiences.
Recruiter: If you ask me this question it means you do not know what is meant by consumable goods.
Me:........(Is this a test?)

Second case.
Recruiter: Your notice period is XX months, can you shorten that?
Me: I do have some annual leave to offset. But if the company needs me earlier can they consider to pay off XX months of my salary and discuss with my HR?
Recruiter: I don't think your experience is relevant for them to pay you to join earlier.
Me:....(Then why did you guys contacted me?)

Third case.
Recruiter: Can you speak XXXX language? Most of our client are based in XXXX country.
Me: Unfortunately no, I am only fluent in YYYY language.
Recruiter: Oh, I assume from your race you should be able to speak XXXX language.
Me:....(Guess again)

I have been contacted dozens of times by a recruitment agency, but this is the first time I have a bad experience with the discussion.
In the end I was not even shortlisted because of my language proficiency (which is clearly specified inside my resume).
Oh well....
