It seems it needs some improvements or remodeling in the theater area.
This is a local gem. Great architecture, great acoustics and excellent shows. It's a local venue and hosts local arts and performances.
Valet parking is quick and seating is better than most
I always love to see artist perform here. Seating is good, the lights and sound are great. (Granted I typically only go during Wildflower festival) On The Boarder was amazing!
Went to see the ballet Gizelle. Clean area, ushers were really helpful. Show was beautiful. Overprice food and drinks but to be expected. Worth it.
Vocal Majority concert was wonderful and I love this venue.
Great venue with top notch entertainment. Sound and acoustics are incredible. I get more impressed with every visit. Event parking is only $5 which is an added treat!
A good facility to host a large company event or to catch a performance.
Enjoyed a perfect concert by the world class, world champion vocal majority!.
I am a senior citizen, and it's hard for me to walk long distances. We were sitting in section 1 and they made us walk AL the way to the other side, then down a 2 person lift, and then we arrived inside the auditorium and the lady said you are AL the way on the other side. Pure torture for me, so then the journey to the other side. What in the world would have been wrong with us going down the stairs and then back up. Very nice auditorium though.
Loved the program and ammenities. Stage was easy to see even from the cheaper seats. Super easy access to parking and building. Very spacious inside so people don't run into each other. Concession food is not great and overpriced, but at least its available if you are hungry.
Great place, clean ,nice a lot to see and learned, love it, defitinely going back!
Incredible venue- I took pictures of a dance competition here and working with the staff was such an easy job. Loved working with them!!
I attended a Summit event for work. Parking was good and the venue was very clean.
Love this venue. It's close to the house and parking is available. Happy to have this great venue close.
It was actually pretty amazing. I went to see a concert, it was epic!
Nice theater with good acoustics. Was concerned about steps and aisles. Went to a show that was predominantly attended by older people and they struggled with narrow aisles and steep stairs.
This was an awesome experience. I loved the show, i loved their banter, it was a delightful bouquet for the ears and I highly recommend this
Went to buy tickets for upcoming show. Very courteous and helpful ticket sales rep.!
Beautiful facility and they do very well at organizing the flow of a crowd
Take the DART Train. The venue is just yards from the Galatyn Park Station. The regular elevators do not go to the lower level of the auditorium. I have bad knees so the steps to the first rows were brutal. There is a lift, but you need help with it. Which they offered. I didn't see much in the way of ADA amenities. That was disappointing. Feels like they did the access as an afterthought.
Womderful Place To Connect w/ Wonderful Productions! #seniorfollies
Great show, loved hearing frank Abagnale talk about fraud
Love this place. Top shelf arts conveniently located.
Brought the theatre out of DT Dallas for us suburbanites. Classy, fun, great. Thank you!
Bought 2 tickets at $30 more than a month prior to the show. However, received a voicemail 1 day before the show saying they are canceling our tickets and refunding us the money and was offered couple of other seats for no cost.Since it was so last minute there was no choice available in the seats and we either had to take whatever seats they offered us or miss our daughter s first recital. We accepted their offer. At the auditorium we find out that 1 of the seat they gave us did not even exist. There was a spot and somebody had to bring a chair for my husband to sit. Very surprised at this kind of behavior and will definitely try to avoid this place as much as possible in future.
Awesome!!! When I left the performance center I was so relax. Love it!!!! We'll be there next year.
Beautiful theater and loved The Nutcracker performance.
Beautiful facilities located in the heart of the city
Weird drinks! Lol, the Eisman is a great hall, I go see the orchestra with my gf who is a violinist that plays with them. Of course i partake in their bar items, they have some interesting combinations including a sparkling gold drink I had once, little sour for my taste but still interesting. They do have food but its not allowed inside so go early if you need a snack!
We went for the hector guzmann show this weekend and it was amazing. The auditorium is decked up and worth every penny.
Visited for the annual Vocal Majority Christmas Concert. This is my second year attending this concert and I'm never left disappointed by the choir. They're always fantastic. I will say I'm sure now that the vocals are pushed far too down in the mix. Even sitting in the second row, I found that I was straining to hear some parts of the show... And I'm probably one of the youngest in the audience every year I've been. Sound man, crank that gain up a hair on those vox! Otherwise, perfect show. Love the Eisemann.
When we got to the center, we were expecting to seea play, but I wasn't expecting the place to be so so big and beautiful. The stage was HUGE and there was beautiful lighting and curtains. Not many people were there, but I could tell it could hold way more people than it did. It's the best place to watch a performance and I very highly reccomend it for any book tour, performance or even opera!
Recital was awesome last night! Way to go girls and boys!
We attend several events... Plano Spooky Symphony was latest. Always clean facility. Friendly workers. Snacks including alcohol available for purchase... but check what you can take in to the theatre. Booster seats are available for children or others who have difficulty seeing the performance. Very limited street parking. Garage parking available, usually for $5. Valet parking available as well.
Enjoyed show. Nice facility with interested food and drink choices more like a sporting arena. It seemed the ushers needed to be better trained and more familiar with the facility. If they can't direct you to your seat, they should get out of the way and let us find it.
I have only been in the small theater, it felt like a practice stage. The pictures of the large venue look much better : / Good view from any seat though! Led lighting for the lower level seating (orchestra pit) and solitary seating in the rafters provides a place for people that go to these things alone, by themselves - without anyone... perhaps creeper / stalker seating?
Absolutely gorgeous community theatre- large, modern, and best of all not downtown.
Very very disappointing to make a 14 month old pay general admission!!!!
Beautiful facility and fantastic performers on a regular basis.
Went for a concert. It was good. Parking is paid. I had to pay $5 for 2.5 hours.
Theater was very nice and has a nice snack bar. Auditorium was really chilly. Otherwise would be 5 stars.
Paid extra for boxed balcony seats. Not worth it!!! Most uncomfortable chairs I've ever sat in. Wound up sitting on the step part of the time. Regular seating is much more comfortable!
Fantastic local theatre with an outstanding performance history and future.
PRE-SHOW BUFFET: This review is about the pre-show buffet offered when there is a concert or show in the main theater. We recently ate here before the Ten Tenors and the Vocal Majority concerts. Two nights in the same week. For $26 we had a cup of hot squash soup, wonderfully fresh mixed green salad and a large variety of cheeses, followed by a choice of chicken and/or fish. There were three vegetables such as potatoes, asparagus, and cauliflower to choose from. Then we finished with a large variety of fruit and desserts. I chose the Yule Log which was so moist and tasty. My hubs ate the pecan pie. The cheesecake was very tempting! Our service was attentive and friendly. We highly recommend booking a reservation before your next show at the Eiseman.
Lovely location. Hosted a great production. Smaller venue than I was expecting but it was comfortable and the overall experience was fun.
Chairs are too small, uncomfortable, and crammed to close
This is a very nice venue. I go here often to see the Plano community orchestra play.
I appreciate them offering their facilities for the Community Outreach Programs throughout Plano (and other cities too I'm sure). The parking is easy to find, the lobby is large and full of light and there are plenty of food / drinks options (alcohol too!) Cashier was very friendly and overall we had a great time!
Excellent!!
I cannot say enough great things about the Eisemann center!
I saw the Nutcracker play this afternoon.great location.easy to find.
It's a beautiful building.
Very clean and the staff is Outstanding!
Valet parking available.
Thanks
I always look forward to coming here and watching new performances
Love working as volunteer usher at the Eismann. You get to meet the most amazing people!
Eisemann is such a nice performance hall, the volunteers there are very nice, I really loved every concert I've attended here.
Saw The Nutcracker here and loved the production. Bought tickets through Groupon so it would be slightly helpful to have better directions on how to retrieve the tickets.
A decent and one of the few good options in Richardson. Parking garage is nearby. Seats aren't super comfortable. Lobby is modern with an airy feel
Beautiful! Visited from Houston for the TPSMEA combined state concert...every seat is a great seat.
