The History Behind Eigennsin Farms
Michael Stadtländer grew up on a small family farm near Munich before moving to Canada in 1980s where he opened his first restaurant called "Scaramouche" which quickly became popular among Toronto’s elite diners due its innovative cuisine style which was not common back then.
In 1993 he purchased an abandoned property near Singhampton Ontario which would become known as "Eigennsin Farms". Over time he transformed it into an organic paradise where he could grow his own produce while raising livestock such as pigs chickens cows etc., all free range without any hormones or antibiotics added.
He started hosting dinners there too - initially only inviting friends but soon word spread about these amazing meals being served up on this remote rural property.
