Egumball inc. Review

Please do not fall into this scam they will convince you that they are from google representative. They seem very hard on you in convincing you.

This company cold calls and tells me that my google listing is incorrect. I maintain my listing so I told them that everything is correct. They insisted that it was not and kept arguing until another person came on to the call telling me that my listing was not correct. I told them that I was not interested and hung up. Next thing I know the guy calls me back from there regular line and my caller ID showed who they are. These people do not know how to take no for an answer and are not professional in how they do business. What surprises me is that they are trying to correct my google listing but never have claimed there own. I guess they don't need to since they have a staff to cold call and harass businesses.

This company must pay for good reviews because it is aweful. First, they claim to work for Google and say that they will help your business be on the first page when someone does a google search. They do not work for Google and I am no where close to being on the first page.

I am a small business owner. I have 2 child care centers. They said they would change the previous business name to my business name on all my listings (I had purchased an existing child care center and needed it to be changed to our center's name). They did not do this. When I look up my business, it does not show on the first page and when I do a reverse number lookup (this is what they tell you to do when they are trying to show you what kind of services they performed for you) it shows they previous business. eGumball DID NOTHING FOR ME EXCEPT BILL ME. When I tried to cancel (calling 3 different times) they tell me I can't until I pay a balance. There is no way I am paying more for a service I never got in the first place. I already paid a lot of $$ for a dream they sold me. They did nothing. I signed up in March of 2021, they said it would take 30-90 days for my listings to be updated. It is now mid October and nothing. When I spoke to them this morning, they said I need to be patient and it could take longer for the updates. I asked how long, she said she had no idea.
Why would I keep paying for a service that gives me an estimated time of "I have no idea."?
Please do not do business with this company!!!

I am a legit business owner who learned the hard way. Go directly through Google instead.

Was using them for our business. Business was permanently closed through google in May 2021 but continued to auto draft from our account because I didn t submit officially by contacting or emailing them of the cancellation. In all honesty I didn t even know how to contact them since we had never heard from them since initial contact in 2016. Poor customer service and they were not very understanding for a small business. FYI, if you cancel they require 30 days notice and will continue to auto draft your account even if you are permanently closed through google.

I give them 0 stars. Charged my account after i tried to cancel because I closed my business when covid hit and could not afford to stay open. Would NOT RECOMMENED USING

If I could give a 0 I would they call about GOOGLE and try to convivence you are not listed. I'm looking at my GOOGLE as we speak and they will not let you get a word out. They lie lie lie

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCAMMERS!! I have literally wasted a year's worth of hard earned money with these people. They have done NOTHING for my listing. And now they call me non stop and will not stop harassing me. They keep wanting to "help resolve my issue". Every time I talk to them its the same lies. After 3 months of seeing no results whatsoever I began to call and complain. I was told by one of the representatives that I was wanting "instant gratification". WTH??? I don't think 3 months of paying for a service that isn't happening and then questioning it would be classified as wanting "instant gratification". My listing NEVER showed up....for the year I was paying them. I don't know if I have ever written a review but I feel obligated to save other people the pain of dealing with this "company". Horrible, horrible, horrible!

This company is a joke... I Canceled my companies subscription over a year ago & just found out today that they have been still charging my company monthly. I contacted them to see where the miscommunication was and was told that because I only called in to cancel it and didn't follow up with an email that I was not told about. that it was never canceled. They then told me that they needed a 30 day notice so next month they are going to still charge me a pro rated amount. My company has NEVER seen any results from this company. They have told me for years that they market and manage my company on Google. When I Google my company I come up 7th on the google list. Try to tell me that all 6 companies with the same name are using egumball of another marketing service that is better then them?? This is crazy and a waste of money! Not once since 2014 has ANYONE from this company reached out to us to see if we needed anything, to see how it was going or to even just say hello. They just continue to rake in my $140.00 dollars monthly for doing nothing. Run do not pass go, Just save your $140.00 monthly and do you.

I received a call from this organization on 08/4/21 who represented themselves as a Google representative. Since I had put in a request to google regarding a problem, I thought they called to resolve it. After speaking with a representative named May, "probable not her real name," I was told that they would increase our presence within several search engines. Thinking they were part of the Google team, I signed up knowing I had three days to cancel if my partner felt it was not a good investment. After reviewing their reviews online and through the BBB, we decided not to proceed forward. Therefore, I called back the next day, 08/5/21, to cancel, to which I was told I would have to send in a letter to the billing department stating I wanted to cancel, which I did, although May had said, "I could call her directly." I then followed up on the third day, 08/06/21, to verify they had received my cancellation. Speaking to a representative by the name of Mark, I was told that they had received it and that I would be getting verification via email today. I never did! I then started to receive emails asking for permission to my google sight, which I never gave. So, I called again to let them know I had canceled and spoke with Rose on 8/9/21. Again, I was assured that they had received the cancellation and would not receive any bills. Today 08/19/21, I received a call from Rose asking me if I had received the invoice to pay. The reviews are correct! This company is fraudulent and unethical in its practices. I plan to contact the BBB and our state Attorneys office regarding this scam of a company. I would not recommend that you engage in any conversation with this companies representatives, for they are liars and will try to convince you they are the top optimization specialist for Google.
