After walking we have been the time for a lunch at Cafe. We started with coffee with a homemade oliebol. Then a 12 hour with soup. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm atmosphere, friendly and professional service and the delicious food. If you are in the area it is definitely worth it!

What had to be a beautiful birthday, ended in a fiasco.
For the birthday of my best friend we decided to try the terrace of 'de Tijd' in Wageningen one time. After hitting a few golden-yellow rascals behind the uvula, we came up with the idea of venturing ourselves to a 'mixed bittergarnatorium 20 st', as we planned to drink all the vultures from the roof. The order went smoothly and after a few minutes the waitress came out with a nice bowl of appetizers. Full of anticipation our old jet took her first bite of a well-deserved bitterbal, something she had been looking forward to all night. But against all odds, this was the moment when the evening turned 240 degrees in the wrong direction. The bitterbal turned out to be frozen. The birthday boy was inconsolable and out of misery we had some barley friends (these were indeed at a correct temperature).
In short; for a nice cold beer you are at the right address here and for a nice cold bitterball too.

Service was not friendly and few vegetarian options. Meal salads were very small. Rather a side dish than a main dish, and drowned in sauce. Pity.

Response to response from the owner: the menu said that the small salads were a starter, but that there was also an option to order a large salad. So that wasn't great at all. When ordering, the wait staff could have indicated that this was an intermediate dish, as you say, but that did not happen. At least it was not clearly indicated on the map. About the vegetarian options: that's right, there are indeed options, but unfortunately not for children. My 10 year old sister only ate fries, because there was nothing for her. We certainly asked about it.
