The wines were not bad and I found the staff to be friendly, but there are much better places to taste wine. If you're a racing fan, it's probably a great choice. If you're a wine fan, not so much.

Nice small garden before going into the tasting room. Feels like a homely deli. Thumbs up for the service and friendliness of the staff. However, for USD 35 for tasting, I would expect premium wine standards instead of average wine. Was disappointed with the wine for the price.

It's not worth USD 35 for tasting. If the price is lower I would have given a higher rating for the service.

Let this place be an example for the rest of Napa. The cellar door folk can make or break a tasting, these guys were lovely and had fantastic knowledge of the area and its history. My hat goes to the gentleman who served us yesterday and to the free mustard and pretzel samples that perfectly complements the fruity notes of their delicious Barbera.

Maybe they were just having an off day, but I had a terrible experience here. Service was terrible, thousands of fruit flies inside the bar/gift shop, it was cold, and the wine wasn t good.

Not as much as in the past. Ruth as always is delitefull. But the other two lacked personalities. No table top covering, no wine description, etc.. Need to get better and look at other wineries and what they are doing. Just saying

This winery is owned by the famous Indy 500 racer Mario Andretti family. Maybe not the largest winery in the California Napa Valley, but the ambient remind you of Italy. The wine tasting us quite good with a good assortment of white and red wine. Worth checking out if you're in Napa Valley.

Lovely place and a gorgeous location. I could gladly have stayed here all day. Some delicious wines, especially the red. We were served by Ray. Ask for him. He was super nice and full of knowledge. Go here!

Great experience! Sat outside with our golden retriever and tasted wines. Beautiful day and the winery was a serene environment. We were alone on the lawn most of the time. It was late April and not crowded. We spent a couple hours relaxing there. Decided there couldn't be a better winery to visit in Napa and skipped going to another. It would be hard to top.

Being huge Indy Car race fans from Indiana we had to visit Andretti Winery. The grounds are beautiful, staff super friendly, and the wines are amazing. We loved the special treatment we received and the stories about Mario and his family.

It was a very friendly winery. Although I first heard it, I explained to you variously in a friendly way. There were several kinds of tasting, Chardonnay was very delicious. There are tables and chairs in the vineyard, so you can drink wine there too. Even children can enter without reservation.

The Andretti winery was the first winery we visited in Napa, and I'm glad it got better from there. It wasn't bad, but it is incredibly touristy and doesn't have the small family owned vibe other area wineries have. Though it is in fact owned by Mario the race driver, they made it sound like he wasn't often there which is odd as in his hometown of Nazareth, PA, they make it sound like he is always out there. The grounds do a very good job of feeling like an Italian villa, and it is a very nice place to take in a tasting while sitting behind the stable house. We first took the tour which I would not suggest as it encompassed a 50-ft total area and somehow meant we couldn't use our BOGO tasting coupon. Our guide was nice but not personable and kept forgetting things. The staff we dealt with for the tasting was similarly unimpressive. I don't know if they were ignoring us on purpose to stay out of our way, or just simply ignoring us. We did enjoy taking our last glass out to the yard and basking in the sun. It wasn't terrible, but we did experience better wineries in just about every facet while in Napa.

Best tour guide and awesome winery experience! This winery is a must visit if you are planning a visit to wineries when in Napa. Our tour guide Gregg with 3G s as he put it was amazing - courteous, highly knowledgeable and loves what he does which reflects in the way the tour was planned. He very patiently explained the aspects and essentials of viticulture and enology. We got a chance to walk outside and look at the vines, we learnt how they are harvested and planted each season. Andretti has a lot of good wine options, several Reds, Rose and Whites including dessert and reserve wines. Their Sangiovese was wonderful, we even bought a bottle of it before leaving. Gregg also recommended restaurants to try in the area and they were both spectacular!
Castello di Amorosa winery is overrated, I highly recommend ditching that winery and visit Andretti instead. Another party on our tour felt the same way and agreed that Castello was bogus.

Hands down the best stop of our tour. The property is quiet, relaxing and secluded. The service is wonderful. The wine is wonderful. You re encouraged to walk around the property while enjoying each tasting.

Beautiful winery. Decent wines. Terrible service. John was very abrasive and rushed our group. Extremely rude. Didn t appreciate the comment about him slipping something into our drinks because we worked at a company he didn t like.

What a disappointment, $40 for a tasting they hand you a small plastic cup and tell you to go to the counter have them pour your first taste and then go outside. Then come back in when you want to try something else. I get these are weird times but of the 10 other wineries we visited over the last few days this one just seemed like they wanted our money and that was it. As a bonus there were other guests who decided they should go pee in the vineyards, so that was special

Beautiful grounds surrounded by vineyards. Andretti is an old house (updated, of course), with an Italian Villa feel, big enough to roam around and explore. Superb wine, even better people. Arrive before 10:30 a.m Monday thru Thursday and you will avoid the "bus crowds" these people are talking about, especially October to April. Easy, free parking, and the views of the eastern mountains are nice to gawk at while eating lunch.

The pinot noir was wonderful- we bought two bottles to take home to Texas. Love the little garden in the back to relax in while you sip on wine. The barrel tasting was also very educational!

Did some wine tasting and Keri was super nice, informative and with a laid back feel. The music was playing and it was groovin'. The wine is tasty and the grounds are beautiful without being overcrowded like some of the big wineries. Definately a must stop on a day of wine tasting.

Mobbed at lunch, like V.Sattui's deli and weekend BBQ, for catered prearranged meals.
Bicycle groups, stretch limos, rental Mustang convertibles, big buses.
Yet they maintain pro good cheer and PMA.
Amazing, the Summer weekend crowds.

Special shout out to Paul for being so friendly.
Also BigGuy who does tasting after tasting, with saintly patience and good humor.
And to the old tall jet pilot who moved 5 big round tables and chairs out on the patio, so my group could enjoy a typical warm sunny colorful Autumn day, and put them all away inside afterwards!!
Jack, Doff, and Joe.
Where do they find such happy helpful staff ?!

Andretti Winery was our second stop of the day.. we were blown away by the hospitality of Rodger. After moments of speaking his education and relatability on the subject of wine was impeccable to say the least. Rodger went above and beyond to make my group feel welcomed, and we had an incredible experience. Highly recommend Andretti Winery & Rodger !!! What a group; what a guy.
