Very pleased with the rooms. They are very spacious with comfortable furniture and very modern amenities. I was offered champagne upon arrival and a nice bar. The workout area is definitely low quality relative to what you would expect from a high end hotel.

My husband sent me here for a day at the spa and it was excellent. Note that there is no longer a hot tub as it is being renovated to create a bar and grill by the pool. It is also worth noting that the fitness room does not come with Spa privileges. The website wording is a bit confusing and states that the fitness room is for hotel guests and Spa members. Spa members differ from Spa guests.

Great accommodations and pool. Probably one of the most luxurious hotels in the Bay Area. Service is good but leaves a bit to be desired when things get busy. Not sure they are used to a high volume of people on the weekend.

The surrounding area doesn't compare to it's sister hotels around the world - however, I do appreciate the high standards of luxury and service provided at this establishment. The remodel over the years have made this hotel much more friendly to guests that aren't using the hotel for a quick business trip! Plus, parking is stress and hassle free - with ample parking spots.

I stayed for 9 nights. Service is great, rooms are spacey and very comfortable. However the mattress was worn down and, more importantly, the (free) WiFi was totally unacceptable for a hotel at this price range. I was able to read emails most of the times but don't even try to browse websites, not to speak of watching YouTube videos. C'mon, we're past 1998.

Not the greatest experience at the ski/snow/winter pop up. No one greeted us, they didn't have 2 of the drinks on the new menu and it wasn't much of a new atmosphere versus the usual experience there.

Nice

Good.

Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo Alt...

Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo Alto opened when I was in the 9th grade. I can't believe it has been 10 years already. I live 10-15 minutes away from the Resort so my family frequents this location for dinners, drinks, and at times just a nice walk.

Overall I love Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo Alto. Its beautiful, the staff are always friendly, and they have the best views of the ocean because it's literally on the ocean. It is very very very expensive. Everything from a drink at the lounge bar to a facial will cost you a pretty penny.

I was hosting some guests for their stay in the area, but overall the hotel seemed to be well kept. Hotel itsepf seemed Vlvisually clean. Service was on par for the quality of location. Dining offerings were varietal enough and well made.

Waiter was terrible. Didn't seem to want us there. We were two couples and any time we wanted something he seemed angry. The annoying thing was that there were only 6 other people in the place.

Excellent service. We have had a really wonderful experience. Staff very pleasant, helpful and informative. Great view from the room. Very clean and comfortable, spacious rooms. Bath and shower facilities were excellent. Enjoyed our stay and all our needs were taken care of. Highly recommended!

Customer service is excellent. Always prompt response. Room service food is always superb. We had mentioned that we were there for an anniversary and received a small decorated cake compliments of the hotel. We thought it was a very nice touch. Also had received a upgrade to our room as well. Merek at the desk had included a hand written note with the cake. To be honest the only negative to the visit was that the minibar didn't work... although I received a complimentary beer with dinner, and the offer if another fridge for the room if I wanted it. All in all a very nice stay..we will be there next year.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times now and the consistency of outstanding service amazes me. Not just from the standpoint of a guest but as someone who has worked in the industry for years. How they get every single employee on the property on the same page in terms of providing top notch service is just remarkable. We had a minor issue with our mini bar not cooling the drinks in it and even that was turned into an opportunity to provide mind blowing service. The rooms are tastefully appointed and very comfortable. The bathrooms are very nice with a large tub, double sinks and a separate shower. The fitness center is great and the pool/hot-tub area is nice although a tad crowded with chairs and cabanas. The property is immaculately maintained inside and out but it is the incredible staff and the service that they provide that really makes for a wonderful stay.

The location may not be the best in terms of proximity to the freeway, as some of the lower rooms may get a little noise pollution; however, everything else is in keeping with the Four Seasons experience. We had a little issue with the room and Ehab (Director of Rooms), went above and beyond taking care of it! The hotel and particularly he, puts customer service (emphasis on service), first. Thank you for a pleasant stay! Recommended!

My family used to get a room and use the Four Seasons as our go-to Staycation venue. We would swim all day, eat dinner at Quattro, hit the pool again the next day, and go home feeling happy and refreshed.

Great hotel, restaurant, and pool service. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Rooms are nice.

We had a room booked recently and when I got the email confirmation, I read more closely and saw that the pool is now not open to kids under the age of 16 after 3pm. At this time it becomes an oasis for adults only. Kids are not even allowed in the vicinity.

I assume the hotel put a lot of thought into this, but we are very disappointed that our go-to venue has become very family unfriendly. We cancelled our last reservation and won't be going back to either the hotel or restaurant.

It was great while it lasted.

Went on Dec 22 for their Apres-Ski chalet experience. Felt like we were at a ski resort minus the skiing part. Food was pretty good but it was mostly fun because of the cool experience sitting outside by the fire pit (they provide blankets) while enjoying a drink and some bites. We loved the cheese curds, salmon potato cakes, and apple fritters (similar to beignets).

This hotel is right next to a freeway, but is gorgeous inside! The executive suite is spacious and has a comfortable couch, Nespresso machine, and a wine dispenser! The bathroom has a spearated toilet room, and a shower and bathtub with two sinks. Short drive to downtown. The pool is small but heated, and there are covered cabanas free to use. Service is friendly and prompt. Would recommend!

This hotel provided the best customer service possible known to man. The best hotel I ever stayed at. I had a rough day at "hotel Shangri-La in Santa Monica" (see review) and the Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo Alto saved the day. Very accommodating front desk. From the moment I pullled in the helped with bags, welcomed me by name and opened doors and gave amazing directions about the hotel. I came here on 5/30 and I just want to thank everyone who worked that night and the next morning. I could talk all day about how great this experience was. This was luxury. I will always stay within the Marriott brand !!

Review of their breakfast. Ridiculously overpriced for the quality of food you get. I paid over $44 for a bread basket, coffee, and a fresh orange juice. The bread wasn't even warm! Then I had to ask three times for someone to bring butter over. A mess. Skip it.

I have stayed here many times over the past 2 years and am always delighted. Even for the impeccable Four Seasons quality they exceed my expectations in terms of personable and proficient staff, quality of the food at Quatro, the spa services and the rooms. The Palo Alto property is primarily a biz hotel and yet I am often here over a weekend which is a real retreat. Always love my stay.

We went to dinner with friends to enjoy the outside Apres-ski pop up. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, with fake snow maker machines to set the mood. The food was ski themed and the prices very reasonable. Great place for a romantic meal or a meal with kids. The kids at other tables looked like they were enjoying cooking their own smores and the fake snow.
