Beautiful location, service in the restaurants is terrible. Complaints get a free night,seems like they should hire more friendly staff. Too many choices to put up with the staff.

If we're to get here blindfolded, you mite think you are in heaven.

Took 30 min to get coffee and food was cold when it came. Manager compted the meal due to it. Please is beautiful though

Topnotch golf club. I visited the bar for a yummy Brooks house salad and an iced tea. Enjoyed excellent service and a nice conversation.

We had a wonderful dinner. The scallops and shrimp were delicious and cooked perfectly. The large picture windows are amazing to look out of while eating dinner. Service was great.

Gorgeous place , next to the lake , really well taken care of place

I stay there new year very difficult to get the whole family together for the new year first year all my kids are out of college decided to buy the new year package for a new year party I had nothing but problems since the day I arrived Unfortunately most of the Hotels in Tahoe were sold out so I had a choice but to stay I tried to contact the hotel manager numerous times Left a message and my phone number never received a call back bistro was understaffed no chef on duty and the new year party was a big disappointment . Such a beautiful hotel and location unfortunately miss manage to the highest level.

Fantastic stay with wonderful customer service and amenities. I did not want to go home! I will be back.

Really nice place! I was here for a company event, but it's normally a private golf club. Didn't play any golf, but the venue itself is right on the lake and just beautiful.

$200 for an average golf course is a little too much even in a resort town. The golf course is charging for the reputation of having the celebrity golf tournament every July. Mind you, it's a nice course, but I've played on much nicer courses for considerably less money. They would do better charging closer to $100. I don't think I'll go back anytime soon. I did hear they treat the locals pretty well with lower prices. Maybe I'll move to Lake Tahoe.

The food here was amazing almost as amazing as the view of the lake.

Was looking all over Tahoe for a nice/ boutique hotel and had an overall good stay at Edgewood. They are quite new and the architecture is very nice and modern. The bistro has great breakfast and dinner. Nice guest lodge and golfing area.

I enjoyed the fireplace in my room and interior design and balcony. Would just saw was not impressed with my room for almost $600. Put me on the very side looking at the golf course instead of the lake. During COVID, not much people, perhaps should've asked at the desk.

The hotel goes out to the beach directly, with excellent views from the restaurant and pool. Ample parking and lots of staff.

Overall can suggest this hotel.

Superb view! Even if your not staying here you should visit the cafe and catch the views. Very nice staff as well

View: Best in Tahoe. Service: Impeccable. I stay at a lot of high end resorts and the service and overall experience here beat most of them. No where else I would stay in Lake Tahoe.

We visited to have dinner at the Bistro and had great food. Would recommend the gnocchi. Beautiful lake views.

Beautiful lake and mountain views! Breath-taking sights

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was very nice. The service was top notch. However, they sold us a $120 per person Thanksgiving feast that they did not deliver. Edgewood, gave us a 630 reservation and began picking up the food at 730, before we finished dinner. They failed to even notify us or the other 20 or so patrons that they were pulling the food. I feel that they failed to honor their end of the contract. I will not be falling for their deceptive practices anymore.

The resort itself is beautiful, right on Lake Tahoe, and impeccably manicured. Service for the most part was very good. Overall, it's really the only game in town if you want a completely upscale experience in South Lake Tahoe and it's priced accordingly. That's the good news. Bad news is the cuisine is completely lacking for a resort of this caliber. The resort prices are very steep and you would expect the cuisine, which is also very pricey, to be 5-star caliber as well. We stayed for 4 nights and tried all the restaurants on-site and found all of them to be average at best. The signature restaurant being the worst of the bunch. We ordered Sea Bass and King Crab and found the Sea Bass to be the worst we have ever had at any restaurant. Completely overdone and more like eating a piece of cardboard, which is downright shameful for any upscale restaurant to serve bland Sea Bass. Spa amenities/service required booking weeks in advance, which is also unacceptable for a resort attempting to be 5-star caliber. Guests staying for multiple nights should always be able to schedule appointments during the stay without having to do so a couple weeks out. The golf course, while obviously very nice (they host PGA tournaments), is overpriced as well at roughly $250. No complaints about the course itself or how its run, but it's worth noting there are other courses in the area just as nice for much, much lower cost. Overall, we'd stay again depending on the reason for the visit, but would look for alternatives much harder before booking.

Had the best time here. You gotta stop by and enjoy the food with the scenery.

Great Resort and Golf Course. Fun place with terrific staff.

Great food, but it took them quite a long time to serve us. Granted we were a large party, but 2 hours for dinner is a long time.

This is a beautiful place. I came here with my wife for our anniversary and had an amazing time at the restaurant. The sea bass was exquisite and the pork porterhouse was delicious. We shared a plate of creme brulee and it was amazing. Everyone was very nice and the service was good. Very awesome place to eat!

Very friendly staff. Delicious good in the wedding buffet. Highly enjoyed the full experience.

Amazing resort retreat in the middle of an up and coming South Lake Tahoe. Hands down the nicest, friendliest, most luxurious place to stay in the area.

We had a fantastic stay. Champagne from the moment we stepped in, little nice touches throughout our stay. Would highly recommend.

We had a marvelous time here. My husband and I had a pedicure and Manicure at the spa. The service was wonderful and the facilities are clean, modern, and very relaxing. Take some time to enjoy the spa area! (There was a bit of a mix up with our reservation but they fixed it right away and were very apologetic. Honestly, the way they handled it made me like them even more! Great customer service even with hiccups. :) )

We also had lunch at the Bistro. The food was excellent. It was cooked properly, flavorful, and decent portions. This place is a must if you like luxury environments and service.

The free valet parking was a bonus that helped put us in the mood of worry free relaxation from the start!

Excellent dining at Edgewood Restaurant and Bistro. Spa treatments were also top notch.

Had salmon fish and chips, a bloody mary and a caramel white russian. Particularly enioyed the deep fry batter, tartar sauce and alcohol in the drinks. Would come back.

I celebrated my birthday here and was very pleasantly surprised. Food and location are excellent. My guests all felt very well.

We booked a reservation here over a month in advance of my parent's 40th Anniversary and were really excited based on the reviews and the gorgeous views. However, they called me less than two weeks prior to tell me that the restaurant will be closed on the night of my reservation. What restaurant is closed on a Friday night? And why did they take the reservation in the first place, and then wait weeks to tell me they will be closed? Thanks a lot Edgewood! I will not be attempting another reservation here.

Edgewood Tahoe consists of three components: 1) an gorgeous contemporary (yet southwest) decor hotel with pool, beach, and indoor/outdoor restaurant (Bistro); 2) an elegant formal dining room (Edgewood Restaurant) in a separate building with wall to wall windows overlooking Lake Tahoe; and 3) a golf course and clubhouse. This review covers #1 & #2 above. The hotel, which opened in 2017 is spectacular. No expense was spared in its design and construction, and the staff works hard to be its equal in caliber. Kudos!! The Edgewood Restaurant is elegant and more traditional. Perched smack on the shore of the lake, it offers spectacular views through its wall to wall windows. The food is also of top quality, prepared in imaginative ways that really taste terrifically. With high caliber service to match, it's no wonder the Edgewood Restaurant has been on top in the Tahoe area for 20 or so years!

What a beautiful setting. We only stopped in to see the clubhouse and golf course. All I can say is WOW!

Edgewood is an impressing hotel with spacious rooms, great food and staff! Spectacular view from every corner. We've been there twice. However in checkout we were overcharged, and unfortunately that happened both during our first and second visit. Luckily we realized before we left the hotel and they immediately corrected it.

Make sure you don't get overcharged when you leave. Otherwise, it's an amazing hotel!

Very clean and nice designed hotel. Fantastic lake view and nice warm swimming pool. Evrey employees are kind. Can get shuttle bus to Heavenly village when I need.

Edgewood was quite a place for a wedding, with the ceremony directly next to the water. The reception room was a bit tight, but the food and staff were great.

Very modern architecture. I really enjoyed the stay even though we were only there one night. The tub in the room was deep, great for a soak.

I visited the Edgewood during the celebrity golf tournament. Everything was well put together and organized. Woupd recommend!

Very Rude staff / Overpriced / Check in 4 PM , but at 4:30 PM they say we trying to rush housekeeping to get your room ready ! / AVOID !!!! Instead go for Landing Lake Tahoe , much better !!!

I'm a wedding photographer in the area and photographing at Edgewood is always such a treat! If you're looking for a luxurious experience with a lake view-this is the perfect venue for you. The views are incredible and private, compared to other spots around the Lake. Also, the service is incredible.

Gorgeous views of Lake Tahoe. Great place to relax, even if you're not staying over night.

This resort is breathtaking in so many ways. The views, the food, the rooms, the customer service... everything is top notch. We spent 3 nights here in February 2018 and we will definitely be back. Location is excellent too... It's about 3 minutes from The Village in South Tahoe, but still retains a private feel from the busy tourist areas.

Food is okay and consistantly overpriced. The hours and days open change every few weeks which makes it difficult to plan on eating here in Spring, Fall and Winter months. The Sports Bar has outdoor seating which is pleasant in Summer. The managers should keep the place open every night since it has the best location in the South Shore...but they don't seem to care.

So cool. It's cold in the wind, so I'll be back in 5 minutes.
