Great service and food is good and great prices too

The theater is clean and I like the little tables set up on the rows. The staff is friendly and the price of a ticket is really great. The alcohol control is great too. No one getting too drunk or out of control. My girls and I seen Frozen 2 and it was a great time.

High Priced . To high for a birthday party.worker never helped with party. And the party gift was A small bag of candy! Paid. To much and didnt get anything postive out of it.would not recommend having a birthday party there. Young teens coming in and out and was in the way of the party room.

Best Movie theater in Birmingham. Free Refills on drinks and the most comfortable seats in town.

Clean place seats are not made for tall people so if you are 5"11 or more not a comfortable place to watch a movie no leg room ..

Great atmosphere, bad movie though... should've seen something else

This is actually a really nice theater! I didn't expect it not to be, but I didn't necessarily have the expectation that it would be either! Theater prices are theater prices, but great layout, fairly clean, good concession selections (including alcohol; wine & beer), big viewing rooms with comfy seating. Also a pretty nice game room if you're into that kind of thing. Also something that I could appreciate was that after dark, there was security (actual Police) around to keep things enforced and safe. There was a large group of teens somewhat loitering within the game room area when we left the movie. While I was waiting on wifey to finish up a convo, I watched police nicely round up the teens and shuffle them outside. No drama, no conflict... just keeping things in order.

Definitely had a great experience and whenever we plan to be on this side of town, will definitely consider The Edge 12 as a go-to theater!!

Was nice and clean... and 5 dollar tickets all the time was awesome

My friend and me took my grandson and nephews to see a movie one day after school. We played games before had and had popcorn n nachos during the movie. It was really nice.

I go here all the time very fun and clean theaters!

Comfortable seats that recline quite a bit. No stadium seating though so you may have issues if you're short.

Nice set up. Only theatre I know in Birmingham that sells alcohol. Good service and parking. Cleanliness was a concern.

Very safe atmosphere. Movie was great. Attendants were very courteous.

It's in okay theater I don't go there much but if I did I would recommend you popcorn and Candy prices are extremely high but you can expect that thing into a movie theater

The theater is clean and they have a small arcade where you can pass the time away whilst you are waiting for your movie to start. The $5 for all movies at all showings is a sweet bargain. You should know the cost for refreshments are a little over the top!

Customers can be so rude. But management is always responsive. Love $5 Tuesday.

The place is great and the staff makes you feel more at home even if the prices on snacks are a bit high. Its kinda worth the $5 movies. Very clean location and customer service.

Me and my wife enjoyed Queen & Slim. Popcorn couldve been better but movie was great

Haven't been to this theater since it became edge.. but we had a great experience here tonight for the opening of avengers end game movie..

I enjoy that it's easily accessible and free refills.

Not a bad place, but not impressive either. Went there for the $5 ticket. Visited solo in the middle of the day. I bought one movie ticket, and a snack combo for one large popcorn, one large drink, and a pack of candy. Everything altogether came up to over $25. Not complaining, but I can visit certain other theatres midday and for the same $25 I get a lot more comfort and better food. With that said, there's no reason I wouldn't visit again if they upped their game some.

Great place to see a new movie. They have cheap "MOVIE" prices, a great selection of movies, and is located a few hundred feet from a police station.

I enjoyed myself and the staff was very mannerable.

I'm very picky and I LOVE this theatre and the staff. I've been a few times and there has been a couple of problems with registers but the staff was on it and very apologetic. The staff is also really friendly!! I love that it's not ever crowded when I go which is early or late in the day. There's also little tables by the seats if u sit n front. And u get to make and refill your own drink, also u get to do the butter for your popcorn. They also have amazing popcorn toppings that u can help yourself to. There's a few games to play while waiting also. In fact, were going back today. Overall, I love going here :)

No frills theater. Easy to get in & out. There's no ticket counter, just grab your ticket at the concessions booth. Our theater didn't have connected seats so this place is not cuddle-friendly.

I walked 13.5 miles to get here after being stuck in a motel for a week and I was so happy to be able to get a beer and sit in a comfy chair. Added bonus, the movie was only $5 ! Thank you!

They have improved from a few years ago. I guess they have new management. I will be going back. I love those seats. So comfortable.

We have been at Edge 12 several times and LOVE it. The facility is very, very clean, the seats wonderful, the personnel have always been great. I love that you buy your tickets and popcorn, etc inside at the same counter. This new concept theater is a real hit!

The seats are horrible they are too low to the floor and the recline is not good for your back.

Too many children!! No supervision. Theatre did require adult be with anyone under 18 to see "R" rated movie. Police presence was there but it so many "pockets" of teens posted everywhere that feeling safe was obsolete. Police officer did come around prior to movie starting asking to see tickets but he should have been at the door checking BEFORE allowing people in. Probably will not come back to this theater unless its to the last show.

The food was good and the movie started on time. My main reason for this review is that my girlfriend and I were talking in the parking lot after the movie. We then heard a loud bang. The security and police did not come to check it out. So, my girlfriend and I left. We were unsure if it was safe to stay.

Movie did not start on time. Had to go get someone to start movie, I guess the employee responsible was asleep or quit. Movie times were listed wrong at Google. Manager blamed Google, I am sure Google gets show times from management. Also there was water on the tile floor all over the women's bathroom and a lady sloped and fell. Her husband had to go in and help her. Seemed to be poorly managed this day.

Easy in and out. Affordable movie and concessions prices. Become a reward men's and quickly earn free treats!

Good low movie prices for the summer. $5 $5 $5 $5 $5 If they can do it all theaters can.

Great venue for movie especially enjoyed the winter special.

Slow as all get up. But for the price of course you'll wait. 5 bucks per person....

Under recently new management and they are making every effort to please the customer.

Don't like it. They had problems with getting the movie going. Let everyone just sit there without informing them what was going on. Had to search someone out to find out the problem. Management never even apologized for the long delay.

Refreshments and tickets at the same counter/same time. Nice. You get to fill your own drink. Nice. You decide how much ice, not them. Nice. Kernel Seasons popcorn seasoning at your disposal. Nice. Comfortable high back rocking seats. Nice. Adult libations if you are so inclined. I've always felt safe there. Some people in this world you just can't please no matter what you do. Can't understand any ratings under 4 stars. My favorite theater. Well done Edge.

This movie theatre is one step above ratchet, I couldn't enjoy the movie due to uncontrollable teenagers who lack decorum and home training. The police had to escort two (2) whole rows out due to all of the loud talking that was being displayed. I gave it 2 stars due to being able to vent my frustrations with an employee there that highly agreed with me. It is so sad that you have to go to Hoover & 280 to just be able to see, hear and really enjoy a movie these days. SMH

I give 4 stars because the customer service was superb and my husband and I loved the low key area. There was no crowd and we were able to purchase the tickets online. The bathrooms were a bit smelly but I would definitely go again when I am in Birmingham

I have been here many times. It is a great place to see a movie!

They have the best seats out of any theater I have ever been too. To this day I have never been to another theater that actually had a little side table to put your drinks and snacks. Also the theater never seems to be fully packed with people. This is subjective, but I really appreciate the smaller crowds. I've been to the Edge over a dozen times, and I have never had a bad experience.
