Eden Babylon Hotel the Hague Review

Great location for meetings. But why do you even have to go for 1 floor with the elevator. What is wrong with a staircase? Saves a lot of electricity and waiting time and is also healthier.

Here we go:

1. Very lively, friendly and attentive staff. From the point I checked in to when I checked out, the customer service was excellent. I can't say there is a lot of that in the Netherlands (in my experience), so I have to highlight that. They gave me a good impression of the city.
2. They work so hard to make sure you are satisfied. I ordered food (their speciality burger) and needed some spice (tropical palate and all ha) and they were very accommodating. Another time, something broke in the bathroom and they had it fixed while I was out.
3. It is within walking distance from the central station and tram stops are nearby. Plus, a supermarket is downstairs. Very striking building too.
4. Really nice view and a surprisingly comfortable bed. I think the pics on the website could be better though; they don't do the superior room justice, in my opinion.

We had a party here. Unfortunately, the room is not suitable for very large groups, and the music was too loud in my opinion and many other colleagues. Nowhere is a place to talk and to understand each other.

Boring hotel with average breakfast. No atmosphere.

Really disappointed..I paid 182 for one night and no breakfast! I arrived at 20h and I asked to be able to keep the room until 14h I had to pay a supplement of 15e .. there was still 28th parking included in the 182nd ..
The room was not great, a little dated for my taste and there were not even small samples of shower gel etc. what I love ... ok the mini bar is offered and a mini package chips but it's never worth this price! especially that in the mini bar there was more alcohol than anything else, they take tourists for alcoholics apparently ..bref very decue I would not go!

It is a very nice place, the people are very friendly, good food and not far from the sea, we will be back

Perfect for a city break. You can't beat the location. The view of a park and the city are fantastic (best to take a room high up). You can park in the adjoining building ( 25 per day). For a 4 star hotel the rooms, the breakfast and the hotel in general are very unspectacular. The location scores above all.

Positive:
The location is very central.
Bus, train and tram 2 minutes from the hotel.
My wife our children and I had the family room.
It was very clean overall.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Negative:
The breakfast was pretty meager.
Dinner was also not recommended.
The food outside of the hotel is highly recommended.

A cozy place for small, private business meetings. The staff is truly helpful and kind. Great tasting food and wonderful coffee which is served with an adorable little wooden box of sweets. Also, great tasting Benedict Eggs!

Superb 4 star hotel along The Hague Central Station with parking garage for people arriving by car ... at the top price of 25 euros per day!

The only good thing in this Hotel are the rooms. The other things are very disappointing. There wasn t even a ice machine on the 7th floor as it was described. The ice machine on the 4th floor wasn t working. Parking is overpriced as hell you ll have to pay 26 euros per day for parking. This should be included in the room price. The price of the room is high enough. And why you close your lobby at 12am? You make enough money with your room prices maybe invest it in a security?! You will have to ring a bell and ask the staff if they can open the door. And this in a 4 star hotel?!

Great hotel, neat, clean and nice beds.
Staff is very friendly, helpful and in a good mood!
Location is perfect, along CS and you walk into the center.
The Living room restaurant in the hotel (with a view over the park) is great, delicious food that is just a little different than the average restaurant and super friendly service!

Nice room on the 9th with beautiful view (parkview)

An ok hotel, with very friendly staff. Still "only" 3 stars by several aspects.

Standard room is very small and minimalist. In addition, here and there flaws in the room. It is also very noisy (you can hear room doors slam shut, and banging from other hotel guests' steps).

The breakfast is good but there is little choice. For the price you pay and the expectation of a 4 star hotel, I think it is too weak.

We also woke up at half past seven from probably work in the hotel.

Nice neat business meeting place. Nice cup of coffee and a view of the forest in The Hague.

The mattress was unfortunately not good. You were wrong all along.

Room on the inside was not special. Only caffeine-free instant coffee. Little value for money. Update: Nav received a good response from this review. Plus point. Therefore from 2 stars to 3

Friendly and well-located hotel in the heart of The Hague! The staff does everything to fulfill all your wishes, nothing is too much! Breakfast starts your day well and the local products are delicious. We have found our favorite hotel in The Hague, see you soon Babylon!

A nice hotel, a let down that you have to shower in the bath, and then there is not even an anti-slip mat !!

Love the pillow choice. I do believe a hotel like such, on that location should at least have a gym. Furthermore, i couldn't set the temperature i wanted. They said to fix it but didn't.

Hospitable employees, above average interest in their guests. Location is next to the central trainstation. Half an hour from the beach and 10 minutes from the commercial centre. Room was quite large with a bathtub. No scenic view but a modern looking building. Service is good with complementary beverages. All in all a very decent hotel.

Super hotel! Incredibly friendly staff, who managed to make the most of it despite corona. Got a free upgrade, and had a delicious dinner and breakfast. Perfect for two nights away.

Very nice atmosphere, but unfortunately no parking space. You have to park in a separate parking garage and walk with your suitcase.

Bedroom window opened on to an indoor shopping centre. Breakfast was so so.

Very centrally located hotel next to The Hague Central Station. Unfortunately we had to search for the reception, this is a bit confusingly indicated. Friendly welcome, and a delicious ice cream for free. Room 6 with balcony. Room looks neat, but the balcony could be better in terms of cleaning. The breakfast also fine. Recommended.

I've stayed at a few hotels in The Hague, but this is definitely my favourite. Next to The Hague central station and close to the city centre.
Rooms are always nice and clean and very quiet. Staff is super friendly and you get all kinds of extra services for free. You can borrow a yoga mat to do a workout, some rooms have a free minibar and if you're not happy with your pillow, you can choose a different one from a pillow menu and they'll bring it up to your room.
Breakfast is delicious and I've had dinner here once but when I'm in the Hague but not staying in the hotel I'll definitely come back to the restaurant.

a wonderful environment in the center of the city. Actually, living on a central station because it's a piece. They remake the surroundings but it still has its charm.

My third stay at the Babylon Hotel and again super fun.
Location is superb, right next to the station and close to the historic city center.
We received a free upgrade to a larger room. The room was clean, spacious, and modern. The mini-bar is free and it is possible i.v.m. the corona virus can also be breakfast in the room.
The staff are super friendly and very helpful!
We would love to come back.

Absolutely centrally located hotel with very friendly staff. No matter if at check in, in the breakfast room restaurant or housekeeping, everywhere you have a good feeling. Thank you for that, we felt very comfortable and welcome. The house itself has here and there renovation backlog. The breakfast is varied but nothing special, except for the freshly squeezed orange juice from the machine. The restaurant has delivered very good food and the service was good too. To emphasize is the free water at the table! The price-performance ratio is ok. Unfortunately, the hotel does not have its own parking, but you get a 20% discount for the public parking garage, it still falls still 22.40 instead of 28 per day. The price is otherwise at 2 in 36 minutes, as parking in Germany is already cheap.

Located at the central station so you can easily walk to the city center or take a tram to the beach! Perfect location for a weekend stay in Den Haag and I m sure we will come back!

Great in 1 word! What a nice hotel. Very friendly staff. We came to spend the night for my sister's 50th birthday. Room was decorated, an upgrade. Bathrobes, free use of minibar. Free cocktail board ... in a word, great! Thank you babylon hoteldenhaag

The location is perfect, but currently the construction works are in front of the hotel. The service is multilingual, very advantageous fot international guests. As to the rooms, the rooms are furnished in uncomfortable way.

Had a great stay there during the corona pandemic in June 2019. Everything was well organized there. Got nice room and very good breakfast every day. The way to the city center was about 10-15 minutes on foot. Very nice staff. Gladly again.

OK hotel, while the entrance, lobby, breakfast area are all new, the rooms itself are not. Breakfast was pretty good.

What can I tell you ... it's a very nice hotel where the welcome is enhanced, you can't fault anything for breakfast and the minibar is completely free. We have been there 2 times but we will come back for sure.
