This place is the worst! My mom went in to get her gold platted watch battery changed and the guy scratched the back up like a 3rd grader writing their name with crayon on the wall. They apologized and said they could buff the scratches out and then buffed all the gold off. Next, the owner, Crooked Eric, said he would find a replacement and then took 6 months to tell her they could not find anything. Eric then took out cash that was well below the value of the watch and told my mom to leave (a difference of 700 dollars). He got all nasty and hostile towards her after we have gone there for years. Stay away from this chop shop of a jeweler as they love to play games and won't take responsibility for what they have done wrong.

My family has been going to Ecolin since the mid 80's and I wanted to have my wedding ring made custom there, as I was gifted some small diamonds to use in my ring. They completed it in just a few short weeks and the result was so beautiful. It came out perfect and it looks like a set! Eric did a fabulous job and the whole family are extremely wonderful people and very accommodating. I live in Queens, but will always go back out to Ecolin for all my jewelry needs!

I don't typically write reviews, but I had a great experience having my wife's engagement ring re-sized. They were extremely helpful, not pushy at all. They had to give an estimate range depending on how much metal would be needed to make the ring a size or so bigger. It ended up being at the low end of the $ range and whole process was completed in the stated time frame of 2 weeks. Excellent job. Definitely going to use them for my jewelry needs.

I had my fathers ring refurbished and Eric designed a ring for my daughter in my fathers honor. We couldn t have been happier with both. Professional and expert master craftsmen jewelers. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and the jewelry is beautiful. This is a REAL jewelry store.

Ecolin has a beautiful selection of jewelry in multiple price ranges. Linda, Russ, and Eric are patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. If I am buying for myself, my daughters, or now my granddaughter, I can always find a timeless piece to treasure. Ecolin is the only place I trust for resizing, repairs, restringing pearls, or watch batteries.

OUTSTANDING!!! There's not enough words. Left a very expensive ring for resizing Someone made an offer to me for a sale years back on the ring. Eric and his Dad told me, way to low. Good thing I didn't sell it, after what they told me it's worth is today. They cleaned my stone free of charge, on top of discounts on already reasonable prices. The ring is perfect and I can now enjoy wearing it once again! All in a matter of a couple of hours. Wonderful family, warm and inviting. I am very grateful and will shop there again.

I have been buying from Ecolin for over 25 years. They are always pleasant to deal with and very fair with pricing. I have multiple family members that shop Ecolin and none of them have ever had a problem! I would highly recommend them for purchases and repairs.

Love this place. Got my engagement and wedding band here. Were so nice and accommodating when choosing a setting and stone. Have gotten prongs re-dipped several times (due to type of setting) and have discounted it once or twice. Also sales people always willing to answer questions and give suggestions. Looking to get a piece to symbolize my kid currently.

This incredible jeweler is family owned, affordable, friendly, helpful, compassionate, and timely. I had 2 of my wife's favorite pieces fixed same day. Her grandmother's wedding ring lost a diamond, and a prong on her Ruby necklace broke off almost lost the stone. I came here because of multiple high reviews from neighbors, and WOW, I was not disappointed. Not only were they able to help me surprise my wife with a quick turnaround, both pieces look brand new despite years of age and ware. As long as I'm in long island, this is my go to jeweler.
