Last summer was my best summer at BDSR. Unorganized event planning. Hugely understaffed. Over priced equipment at shop. Unprepared program areas. Horsemanship and COPE and Rock climbing are infact the best part of the camp. Food is good. Love my staff. Great people. Always willing to help one another. Beautiful place to take your kids. The enthusiasm of the staff is far and few in between. Property and water, maintenance is what is to be expected from a scout camp. This camp is in a process of building it up and it's working. I loved working here. The higher Manger staff is my only complaint. My personal opinion is that I've had the worst 2 summers working here. Great people. But how the higher ups treat some staff is disrespectful and utterly disappointing. My personal opinion as always.

We had a great time. The camp and amenities are very good. The view and program are quite nice. The camp director is awesome and was willing to work with us on many things. Very flexible.

Excellent camp experience for your Boy Scout...great facilities, super staff, and fabulous outdoor mountain adventures. My son fell in love with the place. This includes the Elkhorn High Adventure Camp which is part of BDSR.

Friendly staff. Nice dining hall. Great location. Seemed to have a bit of financial issues during our visit in 2017.

WORST HIGHADVENTURE CAMP EVER!!! went with my crew, they didn't even know we were coming. their staff was unorganized, the food was terrible, and we had a total of 2 activities that they provided. They advertise waaaay more! one activity we were running late to so we called ahead and let them know, they said they would wait, when we arrived they were still there but told us they wouldn't let us do it. overall WASTE OF MONEY!

Definately a bias toward the DAC Scouts compared to the Longs Peak, or any other district. Don't know where the bad blood came from, but they need to get over it, and treat eveyone well.

Great Scout Camp, tons of options for young kid up through late teens. Friendly staff and beautiful setting. Highly recommend this camp.

I can't describe how great the staff and overall camp environment is! My troop has gone to other camps in the past, but this was the winner. There is Great food, campsites, facilities, and I recommend this to any troop looking for a fun and memorable experience!

the view was great but they only had 15 staff to cover about 230 scouts and 60 adults

Well first off I have not been here in years. Our scout troop 280 from Boulder used to go here every summer. I loved it. Staff were super cool and classes were great. The lake is awesome! I remember jumping in for the swim test and how cold the water was. I have awesome memories of this place and would like to return sometime in the near future.

As far as Boy Scout camps go this place is top notch. Great staff, nice facilities, good programs, and the food is decent.
