Excellent food and entertainment venue. On my last visit for some unknown reason they closed and locked the shutter between the bistro and pokies room effectively blocking off the closest bathrooms.
To get to pokies we had to go outside the venue, past the queue to get in and in another door..
First time visit, it's hugh, very impressive with the hotel accommodation beside the pub. Only issue for us was the music being way too loud when we wanted to sit and have a drink and talk. Turn it down a bit so people can relax and enjoy a conversation. Restaurant, very nicely run, staff were even dusting the timber chairs ar the tables.

The review is just about the ballroom as I came here to watch a gig... Have to say I did not know what to expect as it blew my mind a German hardcore band was playing this venue
What I found though was it was amazing!
Parking was a breeze, the security were a pure joy to chat too, they were so helpful it was untrue. Total credit to the venue.
The venue itself was good, strange to be stood on carpet to watch a band but again all added to the night. Drinks were reasonable and access to outside was easily which helped to cool down.
Never hit the loos but there was no queues. Sound was good and even being near the back of the room I was still pretty close to the front!
Will be coming back for sure!

payed $26 for a dry chicken schnitzel tasted like it had been heated up in a mircowave very dissapointing standars have dropped alot since i was last at this establishment you have lost a customer i will not be returning
HQ Photo Booths provided a photo booth for a 21st and 50th birthday party. Staff were very friendly and very accommodating. Facilities are very modern and new which is very surprising. Too bad it is so far away otherwise it'd be more popular.
Nice venue. Horrible staff. I got told to take my hat off. After a while I bit it back on out of habit and not realizing. The bouncer came over and told me I was being smart amd I was made to leave. Even when I tried to explain that it was an accident they where rude and aggresive
Great food and atmosphere with a terrific playground for the kids. The only downside is its quite expensive. If you are after a cheap pub meal this isnt the place for you.
Great motel ,shops and events but need to do something when events are on nightmare with traffic need another entrance and exit.
Good food, friendly service and cold beer! Staff were super helpful especially when an elderly woman had a fall and needed assistance.

How is this place surviving? It is LITERALLY in the middle of nowhere not accessible by public transport. If you decide to take public transport you will end up walking on a highway with no footpath available. Literally, that's your only option without catching a cab. Once you get there, you'll find the bands will likely play until after the last train home has departed, so you're going to either have to miss the band or (in my case) ride a bicycle back into Brisbane if you actually want to watch the band whose ticket you paid for. There is a $3.40 atm withdrawal fee, so once they've got you all the way out there, they're not shy about milking you for every penny. To top it all off, they just threw a mid-winter outdoor festival while it was raining heavily all night (as forecasted). Not one tent was provided. At the end of the concert, we were literally unable to find a way in to the main pub area so we could be warm and dry. Staff were unable to direct us to a door. I really can't say enough bad things about this place. Every single time I go there to enjoy watching a band, I end up having to suffer some horrible ordeal. Seriously not worth it.

Have stayed here a couple of times now in both the king room and corner suite. The rooms are amazing, very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable.
I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful staff who are so friendly, polite, helpful and accommodating.
The meals from the pub are delicious and very generous. Every item from the menu we've tried we loved. The best chicken parmi my wife and I have ever had!
Definitely our go to motel when in Brisbane, everything you need is here including its own small shopping centre. Security parking lot is a real bonus too.

Had dinner here tonight for the first time 5:30-8:30pm. When we walked in it was absolutely lovely. The whole venue could be described as lush. Had a drink in the garden bar (with JUMBO screen) and dinner in the bistro. Fabulous food.

Watched many of gigs at various venues over the years and the sound quality at this place is pretty poor. Second time here and won't be coming back unless I absolutely have no choice.
To buy a drink at the show they were 12.50 so we decided not to drink too expensive so the club lost my money

Went to celebrate Mother and Father's 70th wedding anniversary which they both loved. Great food, well organised and excellent service. Thank you Eatons Hill Tavern for looking after us so well!

Local to the area and looking to support a local business, you would think that the owner would want the business. Obviously not!
After wining and dining for several hours, were met with a very heavy handed approach from a very amateur security entourage. Do not spend your hard earned at this place!
Attended SoPop here 9.2.19 and Skid Row in 2018 and both funyctuons were amazing. Everything ran smoothly and staff were friendly and efficient. Har a great time at both events and will certainly attend more at this place.

I wanted to spoil a friend for her birthday so we decided to lunch at Eaton's Hill Hotel. This was a good decision and after we choose our meals, our meals were delivered by table service. During the meal we were asked if the meal was OK and we honestly informed him it was well presented and we were really enjoying the meal.
We would recommend anyone to dine st Eaton's Hill Hotel.
The line was over 40 mins long. Not looking at fixing the problem. Every car and truck weighs in. Ridiculous

We have always said we would pay any price for good food, the fact that the meals are very reasonably priced for what you get and taste AMAZING, I know I will keep going back. Excellent food, great service, perfect place to bring the family.

Went for lunch and have to say it was probably some of the worst food I have ever eaten. Had the chicken parma which was terrible, my son had pizza and it was not great. Customer service was pretty average. Staff just did not seem happy. Asked if they had just normal spaghetti and he was not very polite and said it was not on the menu. When it comes to food not really kid friendly and don't offer a lot of choices. Overall would not waste another $1 by going there.
We are here for a 40th birthday. The lunch was great drinks inside just perfect until we moved to the outside bar. WHERE I feel Pre sure that the mixers are watered beware. Stay inside to drink.

Amazing place. Went to a Rodeo with my partner. Was disapointed with the Rodeo it self. Found it very slow between rides. Seating could have been alot better.

One of the best rooms we ve ever stayed in!! The brass fixtures and fittings are stunning and make the room feel so luxe! We only wished we d stayed longer to explore the bar and other facilities.

Great meals and drinks. Customer service just needs some attention. Had to wait at the bar for ages until they noticed me to order a drink. Possibly new staffing but just needs an improvement. Check for customers while you are cleaning the bar at the bar.
My partner and I went to the Eatons Hill Hotel for our first night out alone in a few months. The food was cooked perfectly and the selections were well above average. I have never had a bad meal at the EH.

I hadn't been to this venue before and was amazed by the size and the various oreas within this tavern. The extensive sports coverage with an amazing array of screens located around the place is outstanding. Equally, the restaurant and various bars offer a variety of venues to enjoy your time at the Eatons Hill Tavern. I was very impressed and can highly recommend the facility for an enjoyable time out.
