It's so hard to find good Italian food. Often you get microwave pasta and canned sauces. Not at Eatalian. The food is authentic, and delicious. Something simple as a pizza or fancy as a filet. They are all amazing. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Things to try: - Carbonara - Pesto gnocchi - Brando pizza - Rock pizza - Tortelli verdi
Food: Like it's sister cafe, I just love this place. They do dine-in, take-out, whatever you need. I love the Carbonara and I've had a good assortment of their pizza selection. The thin crust recipe is delicious - you can't go wrong. The Marlon Brando is one of my personal favorites. They have a yummy gelato selection too.
Parking: Small-sized lot behind the building, plenty of street parking around.
Location: It's seems a little out of place around all the industrial buildings on the street. This ain't no Olive Garden lookin' place. While the surrounding area looks a little sketch, not to worry, just park nearby and you're fine.
Overview: Super highly super super super recommended. Love this Italian dream of a restaurant. You won't be disappointed with whatever you choose off the menu.
Unassuming exteriors opens up to a warehouse-style Italian eatery. Wait staff is efficient and friendly, food is fresh and delicious, burrata and parmesan cheese are made in-house as well as the bread and bountiful authentic Italian pastries. Parking is difficult.
Delicious food for good value! Rustic industrial dining area amongst the kitchen and catering production rooms. Don't forget an affagoto from the gelato stand for desert.
Their food is good: fresh ingredients, nice selection, reasonable presentation. Wait staff are friendly without being intrusive. Pretty quick for "real food." I like the atmosphere, but it wouldn't be for everyone: very open, a bit loud. Only definite minus: Their parking is not so great.
Our work group had a great lunch. We had 9 people. The service was quick and friendly. The food was good, with appetizers and desserts too. I plan to come back with my family.
Unique industrial location with no signage. Valet parking and street parking. Food is superb. Dessert bar including a dozen flavors of gelato forces me to habitually break my no dessert habit when I come here.
Quality, authentic Italian food. No frills or a fancy setting, just solid food. The pizzas are amazing as are the pastas. Almost everything I tried there was phenomenal. I will definitely be back
The Eatalian Cafe is a pleasant surprise, it's located in the middle of an industrial area in Gardena, I wasn't expecting to find such tasty food in an industrial neighborhood when I found this place. I have been here many times and always enjoyed it, they have great food as well as a wonderful selection of deserts including gelato that is made on site. The wood fired pizzas are always a good choice!
I've been to Italy several times, and this contemporary restaurant is literally plucked from the side of an Autostrade (highway) in Northern Italy. Highway rest stops in Italy (aree di servizio) are nothing like the U.S., and in addition to fuel many offer light shopping (kind of like a truck stop), a snack bar that always serves espresso from machines the size of Volkswagens, and a scratch restaurant. Enter Etalian Cafe.
The food here is fresh, they bake their own bread on site, have a cheese laboratory, and a medium size dessert display.
For an appetizer my friend and I shared the small Emilia Salad. It was definitely more than enough for two. A medium plate of hot, perfectly grilled eggplant, zucchini, onion, yellow and red bell peppers with hand shaved Parmigiano Reggiano cheese flakes, drizzled with aged balsamic vinegar. Honestly, it easily could have sufficed as a lunch plate if you weren't looking for a big lunch.
For my main meal I had the Tagliata di Pollo con Verdure. When it came, I was a little concerned because apart from the chicken, it looked exactly like the Emilia Salad appetizer with chopped rosemary chicken, grilled vegetables (eggplant, zucchini, onion, yellow, and red bell peppers) with shaved Parmigiano Reggiano and an aged balsamic vinegar drizzle. That's what I get for trying to order and chat with an old friend at the same time! BUT, the rosemary chicken completely transformed the entire plate and made it totally different. What a surprise. It was amazing how most of the exact same ingredients tasted completely different with the addition of the chicken, and as a bonus, I feel pretty good about having a large lunch of mostly vegetables. It was amazing.
My friend had the lasagna, of course with home made fresh pasta, and meat sauce. He ate the whole thing, minus one bite (that's how I know it was incredible, I stole a bite before he could finish).
Finally, my friend had an espresso, of course, and a few bites of my House Cake. When I go back to D.C. I will think about this desert. It's the mischievous cousin to tiramisu, with biscotti dipped in espresso and layered with cocoa, chocolate and thick white cream (probably mascarpone), with sliced almonds sprinkledon top - OMG - this alone would be worth the trip.
This was as close to an Italian experience as you're going to get in the United States. The flavors will never be exactly the same as they are in Italy because the milks, cheeses, and meats taste different there overseas. But minus the variations in ingredients, this is the real deal.
Dress casually and step into a contemporary Italian Autogrill hidden in an industrial building that looks like a tire warehouse from the outside. But most of all, enjoy, because the food and the atmosphere scream Italia.
Truly a hidden gem! It s one of the best Italian restaurants I ve been to. Good prices and even better food! Large menu and selection of desserts as well. I like the industrial ambience and service is great! They even do catering. Every time I leave here, I m full and happy.
Came in Hungry excited with my daughter because I saw all the great reviews about how awesome the food is. I tried the rib eye steak & it had no flavor. I actually only ate about 1 third of it before I stopped eating it. I know it s not a steak place, so I felt dumb ordering it in the first place.
My daughter tried the panne con pollo. She left most of her plate as well. . . Since she wasn t eating it, I thought I would finish it for her, but I honestly didn t like it either.
Presentation was great. On picture and to my eye, it looks delicious. But once we tried the food, it was a huge disappointment.
Spent $75 on 2 plates & 2 fountain drinks.
The only good thing was the server and staff were really nice. Who knows, maybe next time I might give this restaurant another try.
A hidden gem. Walk up to what appears to be an industrial warehouse and open the door. I was immediately greeted by a savory smell which encouraged salivation. The host sat our party quickly with a pleasent smile. Surprised by the very cool atmosphere. Tasteful menu with options for all tastes. Gelato and coffee bar are a bonus. Food was outstanding. Highly recommend.
The food here is absolutely delicious. The restaurant is located in a warehouse, but don't let that deter you. Looks are definitely deceiving as far as this restaurant is concerned. We had a reservation for 5pm. By the time we left a couple of hours later, there was a huge line of people waiting to be seated. Everyone in our party loved what they ordered.
This place is everything an Italian Cafe needs to be.
The platter of meats and cheeses was outstanding. The pizza was crisp and light. The pasta was fresh and delicious. The cannellino was just the right amount of sweet. The espresso and gelato were just great ways to end a meal.
And to top it all off: 32 beer! I love this stuff and never expected to see it at a local restaurant.
It's a little pricey, but it's absolutely worth a visit.
This place is a hidden gem. The food is excellent and the staff are warm and welcoming. We were advised that no alcohol is served on Sunday so don't expect a glass of wine while eating a traditional Italian meal. The desserts are amazing and I can recommend the chocolate mousse. Visually it's a bare bones warehouse which makes it more casual and appealing, no foofoo just great food. I highly recommend going!
The menu said that you can make changes to an order to suit your liking. I really felt like having a creamy chicken pasta with sun dried tomatoes. There is a similar shrimp dish, when I asked my waiter if I could have chicken instead, he replied no because it wasn't a traditional Italian dish, that the chef would not serve it. Are you kidding me? Ok, so since I couldn't make any changes, even though the menu states you can, I just ordered the tortelli verdi, a spinach filled pasta dish. It was super salty and my plate was spare when it arrived at the table. For thirteen dollars plus tax, I could've had a more memorable experience at the California Pizza Kitchen, the sad part is that I am dead serious.
We love to come to Eatalian and we are never disappointed. The pizza is always so thin and crispy and all of the pasta is delicious. Seriously one of the best Italian restaurants we have experienced outside of Italy. Everything is delicious but especially if it includes their house made Ricotta or Mozzarella. You can't go wrong at Eatalian, Buon Appetito!
The food is good. Parking is tight, so plan on the possibility of searching for street parking. Staff is busy but friendly. I'd recommend for a large party, (but anticipate some wait time).
Found a hair in our calamari plate and when brought up to waiter he only took plate .. Not once did manager Patrick come over to apologize and server acted like it was normal .. what a disappointment how this disgusting situation was handled .. Lost my business !!!!
