This is my favorite Italian restaurant!

This is my favorite Italian restaurant!

We ordered the pesto gnocchi, spaghetti speck e trevigiano, mimmo pizza which has arugula, tomatoes, burrata, and prosciutto.

Everything tasted good, food came out right away but I feel like our pesto gnocchi needed more pesto sauce. Their chocolate gelato was amazing, it's the closest one gelato to the one I had in Pisa, Italy! Will definitely come back soon.

A hidden gem! My favorite thing was their dessert their canolli are to die for! I'm definitely going back for more server was wonderfull their cibatta bread is so soft and delicious and they bake it fresh every morning you can even buy some to take home! I tried a hand full of gelato samples and they were all delicious they made it difficult to choose I pass by here everyday i go to work and until a year later I decided to try it with my husband I very much recommend this place! Someone said there is no free parking but I went on a Saturday and they have a free parking lot for you to use.

The description of this place read "barebones" and I was expecting nothing but a smelly little deli. Thankfully, the place turned out to be much more classy and larger than I expected! So thrilling to see their cheese-making section on the one hand, the wood fired pizza oven on another and rows of delectable pastries on yet another! I had their delicious cappuccino (one of only a handful of places that serve coffee that I find acceptable in all of LA), a really well done cannolini, and their fresh bread with olive oil. I'm going back for their risottos, pastas and pizzas. Meanwhile, the server was nice enough to oblige my request for a sample of their cheese. If that soft and creamy bite of mozzarella is anything to go by, one can safely presume the rest of their menu is going to be of a better than average standard. A perk for vegetarians such as myself- LOTS of options to choose from!

Had a great experience. Shared a cream based penne plate with shrimp and a tutti di mare plate (white wine base) and both were excellent. The wine and beer we tried were good. The service was great. The kitchen did take a while for our food but we had a large group and the quality of the food was well worth the wait. Would love to go again!

If you havemt been here you are missing out. Set in a warehouse type atmosphere Eatalian Cafe offers some of the beat pasta dishes and pizza I've had in years. Anytime I'm in LA you know I'll be eating here and getting some sauce to take home. Make sure you leave room for desert, they have a great selection of gelato and an even bigger selection of fresh baked goods.

Interesting atmosphere. It's a converted warehouse (high ceilings, very open). The atmosphere does not really fit with the high quality food, but I don't care. The food was quite tasty.

Caprese appetizer: 4/5
Giuditta pizza: 5/5
Tagliatelle a ragu: 5/5

The food was delicious, I've came here before and just visited today for my mother's birthday and I made this place seam so nice and wonderful but I had a horrible experience with the waiter getting mad at the front desk attendant. He was very unprofessional about the whole situation. He asked me "how did you pay?" didn't let me finish talking before he stormed to the front making a scene and raising his voice at the front desk attendant because she let me pay at the front. I did not like how the waiter acted and it ruined my night with my family because his outburst made my mom was upset. The food was still good.

I've eaten hear quite a few times and I always order something different. I have not eaten a dish that wasn't delicious and pizza is wonderful as well. I haven't tried their gelato yet but I'm sure it's good as well.

This unique restaurant is located in a large warehouse space. It has large, casual tables, with a central bar, a gelato and desert bar, and an cheese making factory all within it. The food is good, basic, with pizza the big focus. The wait staff are talkative and helpful. It's quite loud inside, with large parties and kids running around. There are also big screens showing sports. A good casual place to go with families.

Pro tip - the area isn't all that great (industrial), so if possible park in the lot specific to the cafe. It is located right next to the cafe.

Great menu and meet my needs for Italian food! Great tasting dishes and the atmosphere added on to an unique experience. The building used to be a pasta making factory and they've added a homemade ice cream parlor. Servers were friendly and professional. Small free parking behind the building on on the streets. It does get crowded and wait time can extend beyond an hour. I thought the experience was worth it and recommend the restaurant.

Amazing and Authentic Italian food, I am in love with this place and will be visiting it again :)
The ambiance was a little dull but the quality and quantity of food really made up for the loss. All in all, the place is a gen for anyone who wants to try really tasty Italian food and is bored with the chains such as Olive Garden and the others.
I will visit it again and then will update the review if anything changes!

Our favorite Italian restaurant in the US! As close to Italy as we remember. Gelato is on point with true Italian gelato. Must try the hazelnut! I love the cream sauce pasta with speck!

Meh. Fine but not inspired. Good if you're looking for Olive Garden level Italian. But the flavours really don't go anywhere. They're cheap with oranges on their Sicilia salad and really, oranges are abundant in California. Why skimp and cut them up into tiny pieces?

Love this Italian eatery. Though it's always busy, the service and wait staff move quickly. Industrial atmosphere meets old world charm. All the food is superb. Authentic and rustic. Before you leave you must peruse the dessert bar and try their gelato or yummy pasteries. The cannoli, tiramisui, torte. All look so good.
