After many hours trying to figure out where we should go for dinner and reading reviews, we made a decision to go to Eatalian Cafe Italian Restaurant, turns out to be the best decision we made so far in this la trip, great food and atmosphere.

It's good to see some nice restaurant around this industrial area. Pizza is good, but their pasta is just okay. One unusual complaint, the dining area have an odd lighting, I'm not sure if they try to dim the light for dinner time or just a bad placement of light since this place is appears to be a factory/warehouse that were converted to a restaurant. Regardless it's making my eye uncomfortable

Pizza is really really good but the staff. owner etc. are kinda food/restaurant nazis. There is a head waiter that pushes the girl waiters and customers around and an older guy (owner) who's kind of drunk on his power too. A bit of a hot head. No one wants to see that at lunch. Product is great but they need to work on their hospitality/personalities. The mozzarella that you can see being made in a glass walled factory room is divine as well.

Great pizza and pasta Never disappointed. Do not come here if you have no self discipline. You will eat 4 pizzas by yourself. Everything is fresh and fast service. Not cheap but good value

The pizzas are thin and crispy - Margherita is my go to...so delicious, their pasta is so fresh, I had the Carbonara. Pastries and Gelato made in house are so delicious plus when you tell them what table you're sitting at they add your choices to your bill. Don't let the industrial area throw you off or deter you from eating here. Yes, parking is a little tight, it does get a little crowded, and if you don't mind navigating the traffic through DTLA, then come and have a great meal! I'd rather drive through traffic than go to Olive Garden that's 3 city blocks walking distance from my home here in Glendale...

Great food in a Warehouse!? Kinda cool.

Great food in a Warehouse!? Kinda cool.
Grape menu selection I had the black truffle lasagna! Pizza was thin and fresh!
Lots of beer and wine and cheese from as well bottle or tap! Street and restaurant parking in back.

Went on a Sunday, the three of us shared a salad, shrimp penne pasta and a pizza. Wanted a glass of wine, but no alcohol can be served on this day... Food was ok, desserts were a little better. Caramel gelato, delicious.

The Emelia salad is my favorite (but it came out late tonight) but it's not a conventional salad. It's grilled peppers, squash, eggplant, onion, shaved cheese and balsamic vinegar. Pizzas are razor thin. Kitchen in the open. My favorite restaurant these days.

I am here every month with my son Rocco and various family and friends!! We LOVE it here! The food is absolutely amazing and won the heart of my Italian grandmother. Everyone I've brought to Eatalian loves it and begs to go back. You'd never expect this place in the middle of an industrial park with jail bars on the windows, but word of mouth has this place constantly packed!! They make in house desserts, meals and mozzarella! Gracie!

I can't get over this place. When i dine out, I don't usually go for Italian fare, but I knew I had to here. Delicious, decadent, hand made pasta made to order and the desserts! Out of this world

I've been coming to Eatalian for years. Have brought family, employees, and clients here. Easily spent thousands. Generally have had very good experiences.

Tonight's experience, sadly, was a two-star experience and it will be a while before I return.

My core complaint centers around an overcooked New York strip and the failure of service to remedy it. My secondary complaint is that my children's cheese pizza was forgotten.

I rarely order steaks here, I don't generally go to an Italian place for steak. I had wanted the usual special, fresh house made tagliatelle with salmon, a few veggies, and a sauce, usually cream based.

Unfortunately that was off the menu, and what was on was a steak special promising to be medium rare with a spicy sauce.

Mine came medium well, yet slightly cool. The sauce was cold, which I found surprising, and which compounded the issue with the cool steak.

I wasn't going to complain, but my wife took it upon herself. It was our anniversary and she wanted the meal to meet our expectations.

When brought to our waiter's attention, no satisfactory solution was offered. He offered us free ice cream or coffee or wine.

For $28, I wanted a perfect steak. Who cares about ice cream? No refire was offered, nor a comp on the steak or the late pizza.

In my opinion, a discount was in order on both the steak and the pizza. Perhaps not a full comp, but 50% would have been fair, and would have prevented me from writing this.

I now have doubt that Eatalian is truly committed to customer satisfaction, and as such, I will think twice before visiting again.

I've been going to this restaurant for years. The food is ALWAYS delicious. I tend to order whatever is on the special menu, but I've had pretty much everything on the regular menu too!!! This place gets extremely busy during dinner time - especially during graduation season. Our family has opted to enjoy a later dinner to avoid the rush. It is totally worth keeping our 4-month-old up late.

Located in the heart of industrial/manufacturing/warehouse area.... and even has a bit of wide open-spaces industrial decor (white walls & exposed metal ventilation).

Yet, In spite of what you might think... it's VERY open, spacious, very seating... table settings etc... with a pleasant ambiance... once you reach the inside.

None of this would even matter... if the food was great... which it was!
Nice wait staff (friendly, courteous, etc).

My only disappointment was a raspberry pie/dessert which was a little to dry... for my personal taste.

If not for that rated them... even higher!

yummy
