A couple of recall items to be completed on my 2 years old XV and it s two weeks before Christmas.
The level of service by all from the day of phone call to completion of work was exceptional!
Very impressed with Chantelle, apprentice mechanic who drove me home. Her simple explanation to my questions of work to be done very much appreciated. Teresa

This is not just a car dealership it is a family b...

This is not just a car dealership it is a family business who prides themselves with above and beyond great customer service and satisfaction. After purchasing two vehicles from them in the past five years effortlessly. I have just happily sold them one of our vehicles back 5 years later in preparation for purchasing a new vehicle later this year. This was also done effortlessly. Honest, fair and easy to deal with. Having experienced dealing with 3 different brands of car dealerships in the past 10 years, Eastern Subaru Lilydale is hands down best buying experience (and now selling experience) I have had. Shout out to Tyler and Luke for their exceptional customer service.

T Have been using this dealer since the early 90s and find the level of care and service to be of very high quality the staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them to attend to. I highly recommend Eastern subaru very hard to beat.

Eastern Subaru is a franchised car yard company who's employees are all dedicated and long term. That in it's self is excellent but also causes in house politics where you have differentials in employees from sales to the car detailer.
1:- Sales think they are above everyone and certain sales people will tell lies about people for what they see as below themselves,
2:- Mechanics think they are above every one inclusive of sales.
3:- Some of the office staff are nick named Teflon as they believe nothing sticks to them but some of the office staff are also good to work with as well.
4:- The car detailer as far as he's concerned is put down by all as a bottom feeder.
5:- Apart from all the internal politics Eastern Subaru as a new & used car yard is just another car yard selling cars.
6:- There is cheaper so shop around.

Terrible customer service, does not serve customer...

Terrible customer service, does not serve customer with respect at all. Does not seem lilke they care about the customer needs, do not even bother to help with the price of the car, and makes you feel like an idiot.
Went in on the Saturday , and the service received made us leave. And after one hour went to another Subaru and happily signed and purchased the new subaru forester !!! . Do not come here unless you want to receive horrible service!

After 20 years with my original Subaru Impreza WRX...

After 20 years with my original Subaru Impreza WRX I decided to go back to Eastern on a whim and look at the latest models. Tyler met me at the door, discussed my requirements, price range, trade-in and showed me the latest Levorg wagon. Exactly the style and size of car I required and within my budget. After pleasant and professional negotiations the deal was done and I am now proud owner of a new Subaru, and the old WRX now has a new home.
Thank you to Tyler, Karen and Subaru management for the exceptional service and attention to detail. After having a full rundown on the vehicle by Tyler, and a few extra goodies thrown in by the team, I proudly drove this car from the showroom with a smile to match.
I highly recommend Eastern Subaru for sales and service, 20 years of experiencing their high level of customer service says everything.

We started to take our Outback here a few years ag...

We started to take our Outback here a few years ago to be serviced when the Ringwood service centre closed. We were in the hope that they would be as good, unfortunately we were wrong. The work performed was OK, and the price average to high, however being made feel welcome by the service department must be an optional extra. Our last trip a couple of weeks ago sealed the deal on not renewing to an Impreza, which was what was planned. So, they lost a customer and a new car sale. As much as I love the way a Subaru drives, we will never own another Subaru again.

I am thrilled with my new XV. Connie and Karen were great to deal with. As well as being very helpful, knowledgeable and professional, the whole experience couldn't have been easier. This is my second vehicle through Eastern Subaru and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else! Thanks again!!!

Professional sales dept let down by their service ...

Professional sales dept let down by their service cowboys. I knew as soon as I saw the mechanics zooming around the car lot with the bonnets fully open I wouldn't be back. Do they need to mow down a child before this stops being funny? On presentation of the bill, even with prompting nobody could be bothered explaining the condition of my car or the work done. I persisted and a promised call-back from the service manager about my questions never happened. Should I mention the oil drops over the brand new engine they couldn't be bothered wiping up?

I want to give an extremely positive review to Rachael Mulvogue at Eastern. Not only did she treat us exceptionally well at our initial test drive. But because we were unable to make a decision we missed out on that car. Then she kept in touch with me to inform me of a deal that would be coming in the next few weeks. Today we were treated exceptionally well yet again and able to make a fabulous deal on a 2017 Outback - even better than the car we missed out on. Can't sing her praises highly enough!! Thanks Rachael!!

I had lost my trust in car salespeople until I spoke, met and worked out a great price/deal with Connie on my XV
The experience was just as good when I finally met her in person she is a pleasant and knowledgeable person to deal with
Manager Luke was approachable on working out a great deal
Based on my experience I would recommend the Team from Eastern Subaru
No hesitation in dealing with them in future
It was lovely to pick up my car which was sitting in t he showroom with a big red bow

When car sales are being affected by COVID, I was surprised at the number of new sales dealers I visited where there was literally no follow up. Some did not even ask my name or contact number, and NONE followed up including the dealer where my wife had test driven a vehicle for over an hour, just prior to the COVID lockdown.

I am a Sales Recruiter. I want to be sold.

Meeting Rachael at Eastern Subaru changed that. She brought the vehicle to our home so we could check it out without being rushed and in our surroundings. She was able to complete the sale without being hand balled off to "the manager" and the follow up re. delivery time, colours etc. has been excellent.

There are a lot of sales reps that could learn a lot from Rachael. Not pushy, really knew her products (I loved that), and made the whole sales experience pleasant.

Rachel and Karen were amazing, they were so helpful and lovely. They had everything organised ready to go, Rachel went through the car with me when I picked it up and help set up some of the functions.

The team here are knowledgeable and yet not pushy. They want to make sure you buy the right car for you. They will follow up for you and they will also do a great deal. They are not like all other dealers. We had a great experience and I can't rate them highly enough.

At all times they were professional, honest and provided the highest quality workmanship. I always recommend them to anyone I know with a Subaru.

Best of a modern car yard, no pressure truthful easy answers and friendly staff. Tyler was very helpful and easy to deal with. Like any negotiation you still have to be earnest and we'll prepared to get the best deal but things never got heated or uncomfortable. At this stage we'd have no qualms in buying from them again.

Awesome dealership. Helped me out when I'd bought a late model second hand Subaru through another non-subaru dealer and a rare problem arose with it.

They got the car in immediately to diagnose the issue and gave me a loan car whilst my car was with them for repair. The problem with the vehicle was not an easy fix, and as mentioned before, was indeed rare.

The level of service given and the professionalism shown by Matt, Trevor and the rest of the service staff was fantastic. I was kept in the loop on the issue, given a brand new courtesy car and all work was done under warranty.

Car is fixed now and drives great, however after having a loan car (Subaru Liberty) from Eastern and enjoying that, I made the decision to trade mine in and purchase a Liberty. Went back to Eastern, spoke to Luke Drysdale and got a good trade-in price and great deal on the new car. No fuss, easy to deal with...great service.

Highly recommend Eastern Subaru for servicing and sales. I will certainly be a customer of theirs for a long time to come.

Spare parts department staff are very helpful and friendly over the phone and on site. And I rang them and ordered some spare parts for my car on Monday and I was informed the parts would be coming from Sydney. Tuesday even before 12 noon I got a sms that spare parts are here and ready for collection. Now thats excellent parts sourcing. Im so much impressed. Go Lilydale Subaru!!! You are the best

Tyler did his all to help me with my purchase, and was able to honestly answer my every question about the vehicles I was interested in, to recommend a vehicle based on my needs, and made the purchasing experience pleasant and easy. All the staff at Eastern Subaru are just as polite and friendly, and I recommend them wholeheartedly and cannot thank them enough for their help.

Just booked my girlfriend's 2015 XV in for its 85000 service, plus whilst I was there I asked about the hybrid XV which isn't in Australia yet , they had no information how ever the big boss is going to a meeting next week regarding the hybrid cars and will email me the information.
I'm pretty happy with that .

Tonight i rang at 5.25pm in desperate need of help with a problem with my Outback. I was put on to Luke, and i need to say how fantastic luke was! I was 40mins from home with no break lights. Luke took the time to go through it all with me, problem/ reason why and spoke me through how to fix, luke was patient and he didn't seem rushed to get me off the phone.
Thank you again! Your customer skills are beyond amazing! (compared to other Subaru dealerships ive experienced in the past) :)

Eastern Subaru made a dream 20 years in the making come true. From the first call through to delivery I felt like their top priority with regular updates as the car was made ready. A BIG shout out to the lovely Rachael! I ve bought 5 new cars in my lifetime and my experience with Rachael was above and beyond to say the absolute least. A gem which any sales employer would be blessed to have. Thanks Rachael for your sincere and honest approach. You handled my bold excitement with calm and measure and I felt like I could trust you. I had a very disappointing experience.

I had a very disappointing experience.
Bought a 2018 Outback in January of that year.
Asked for a resin cargo step panel as an optional extra which I was charged for, but received a boot lip and bumper protector instead, that s a difference of about $170.
After numerous phone calls with Luke in which I was assured I d be reimbursed I m still waiting.

4/9/19....All sorted now, thank you.

Dealership has had negligent after sales service. Still trying to get poor quality work fixed 18 months after buying a new car, service was good until I took delivery. Do yourself a favour and go through an actual Subaru dealership not this franchise.

Eastern Subaru have had my business now since our first purchase of our 2004 Foresters for my wife and I. We had no hesitation in returning for our upgrades in 2016 and the brand of vehicles stands up well in the market place for our needs as does the after sales and servicing department. Big Fan of Luke and Trevor.

I had an excellent experience with Rachael and the team at Eastern Subaru. I purchased a 2016 Subaru Levorg and it was in (almost) brand new condition (originally sold new by them). Im absolutely loving the car although my licence may not see out the year lol.

From testing the vehicle to delivery, their service has been absolutely wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone looking at purchasing a Subaru.
