We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights for my sons birthday... n I hated every minute of it... the worst customer service and customer orientation! The food is very very average. A very rude chef told my husband that my 18 month old has to wear a mask and threatened him to call the general manager if we didn t comply ! An extremely rude waitress said you just ordered a coffee ... u also want a juice...with a very smug expression.. I had to explain to her that the juice was for my little girl... then also she took 20 mins to get it. I asked for pool towels and they didn t come even after 2 calls and 40 mins. I asked for a plug and the one they sent didn t work. The room didn t have a dental kit, so I called and it took over an hr to come. We wanted to book a space at the roof top restaurant for 930 pm so we went at 5 to request for a space.. the guy was amazingly rude / unaccommodating and told us point blank that everything is full and we can absolutely get no booking at all. We requested to be informed in case of a cancellation and he refused to do that as well.. said nothing is getting canceled.. he somehow knew that at 5 o clock. We made a terrible mistake of going there.. will never repeat this mistake ... EVER !

service was very slow, 1 waiter to serve all the guests in 3 different locations ...the sushi was nice , salmon was totally different from the picture

Good service, nice setting. Food is average in main restaurant but worth a visit for the view of the mangroves from impressions bar on the 7th floor

It's an elegant hotel to stay in that is very peaceful. The rooms are nicely designed with solid material and an Arabian decor. There are many restaurants and shops on the ground floor. There are many fun activities like kayaking, electric Boat rentals and a nice walking path overlooking the mangroves. It's a nice place to have a day to relax and not have to hear all the noise from the city.

Fabulous hotel. Service and food were fantastic. Would love to go back at some point. Located just outside the centre of Abu Dhabi, the only way to get about locally, other than hiring a car, are the cabs, of which there are plenty and the rates are cheap.

Been here for some client meetings. It's a fabulous place and very courteous staff.

Permanent resident in Dubai I decided to have a break at the 5* Eastern Mangroves Anantara Hotel in Abu Dhabi with my friend. I really wanted to relax in a luxury place as I mainly do in Dubai.
Here is my experience:
* At our arrival, we have been asked to pay the room at the check-in without even offering us to check it out. Smile
* After that, the receptionist announced a wrong price, putting the extra charge on the taxes. After checking with the colleagues she admitted that the price is indeed not correct but didn't apologize. Smile
* Once in the room, we asked assistance to connect on wifi, after 1/2h nobody show up. Decided to forget about it and use our own data. Smile
* First entertainment: we decided to go to the pool. Very small pool with nice view on the mangroves but then expect to be bitted by mosquitos! Smile
* We decided to grab something to eat at the pool which is a service provided by the 5* hotel of course... but expect to ask to bring you the menu, to receive the food before the drink, to have to ask twice for tissue and cutlery after 15min waiting and nothing arriving. Smile

* Later, like in every hotels the waiter comes to you to sign the bill and put it on your room number. No problem, I grab then the opportunity to let my feedback about the food expecting some explanation. So, I said that it has not taste and it's full of water which is not what I would expect from a chicken shawarma sandwich (I actually let my plate almost full). Well, smile again because you should expect a waiter with the shirt half out of the wayyyy to large suit, sweating a lot, looking at you as if you are coming from Jupiter and replying a simple "ok mam. Can you please sign here?" Smiiiiile
* Only 3 hours so far in Anantara Eastern Mangroves Hotel Abu Dhabi and still can't figure out why we paid 1200Aed the night

This is a nice and well managed hotel with nice ambient and great service in UAE. We enjoyed our 3 nights stay very much. Cheers Matthew

A great place for food, they have a huge variety of all sorts of food

Luxurious hotel to stay at .. and having conferences

Good facilities and service but poor mattresses and beds. Needs new beds.

But we had to go out and get ourselves a toothpaste ,as it wasnt there already in the room.

Amazing hotel, exactly what you expect from a 5 star resort.

Lovely hotel and pool. Our room was on ground and facing the car park which may have just been us drawing the short straw however the hotel wasn't very busy so we felt they could have placed us better. Food was great and exploring the mangroves was good fun.

Rooms and dining places are good...but the problem of that place is too much smell of dirty water...if you want to stay or visit at this place, you have to wear a mask...i surprised how the people eat and drink at this place..

Peaceful and Quite place. Famous restaurants and coffee shops are available there so you can enjoy your time with family and friends having your coffee or enjoying your meal

The unique hotel with promenade and restaurants outside. Really in the past it was better frequented. But absolutely still valid
